I haven’t been to Ortho since I was a child & my appointment was today at 11:50 & I was told check in time is 11:30 because I have paperwork to fill out. I arrived at 11:30 & checked in from my car & they told me to come in at 12:36 in which I waited until 1:15 when I had to leave because I could not wait any longer. I already paid my copay & was told they would have to reach out to someone else via email about my refund. Waiting 2 hours to visit with a doctor is unacceptable.

I highly recommend Dr. Ethan Schock!
About 8 years ago, I was taken to the ER with the left femur shattered in about 4 pieces. It was my great blessing Dr. Schock was covering orthopedics at the time. He placed rods in my femur and wired the loose pieces around the main rod. When Rehab was begun I was unable to walk more than 20 feet and without the stamina to go any further. Schock ordered 2 units of blood be given to me. A “hospitalist” was going to decline the transfusion order. However, almost immediately, Dr. Schock was advising the “hospitalist” that “He was the Doctor who operated on me and knew how much blood I lost”. I received the transfusion and it made all the difference in my world, I could walk the distances PT wanted me to. Since the surgery, I have no pain and no limp.
In 2018, I began having right knee pain. After about 2 years the pain was so bad I had to do something, Dr. Schock was the answer. Xrays showed bone on bone and mis-alignment. He explained my choices and risks of surgery. The total right knee was replaced, August of 2020.
Everyone has a different recovery and for me the 2 weeks after surgery were painful but PT got me through it. At 77 years of age, I am now 7 months out with no pain or limp and a scar you can hardly see.
Again, I highly recommend Dr. Schock as an excellent surgeon and easy to talk to.

After suffering knee pain for a few months and ibuprofen wasn’t helping, I called my doctor at OrthoArkansas to schedule an injection. Within hours I could feel some relief and had the first pain free night’s sleep in months. I was so grateful, I called the receptionist this morning and asked her to send Dr. Gordon a thank you note and put a ❤️ on it! I’m always thankful for the treatment I receive at OrthoArkansas!

I’m a patient at OrthoArkansas. I’ve had two knee replacements and I’m pleased to say that my experience has been great. Doctor Tad Pruitt is the best. Both surgeries went very well and my rehab was outstanding. I would recommend OrthoArkansas to everybody who is dealing with knee or hip pain to go there. I give my Dr. and OrthoArkansas an A+ grade! I want to thank them tremendously for changing and making my life better.

Dr Norton is great. Very nice and easy to talk to. He removed a ganglion cyst from my wrist. I really like his nurse as well. She always returns my calls and answered any questions I have.

This place is not good for people on disability. I was told would not get my MRI scan because could not afford to pay $110 copay. This lady name Fallon was rude an just didn't care. I mean just happy to cancel my appointment. She told me we don't do scans without getting copay money. So you trying to tell me everyone that has injury coming to your place of business never got services for being low on money?? I was supposed to get physical therapy at this place also but changing that also. No need to spend my Medicare money at place that disrespectful to me. When we all know they up charging my insurance for services. I never understood places that make thousands on services rendered but will lose it all for few hundred dollars. I wasn't asking for free services just can you bill me for it later. I would not recommend.
UPDATE: I did talked with patient relations rep Tracy but she was no help. Basically she told me same thing as scheduler for MRI (Fallon). If patient couldn't pay at time talk with manager about it. I have never had anyone talk with manager about not being able to pay copay. Then told Tracy I was on fixed income with disability an she told me she was on fixed income as well. I don't appreciate people being smartas when you don't know others problems. I could never recommend this clinic.
Update: I went for mri on 03/05/2021 an paid $110 copay. Then at 12:19pm get call about follow up appointment. They told me had to pay another copay get mri results with office visit. This place is trash!!! They are nothing but money grab. I can't believe all positive reviews because it's been horrible for me. Just ridiculous can't get good service these days.

Dr Allen Smith was my surgeon for my knee replacement and he did a very good job explaining the procedure to me and what to expect after. When I saw him for my 2 week post surgery, he took time to answer my questions and didn’t act like he was in a rush to get to the next patient. I would definitely recommend Dr Smith to any one in need of surgery for knees, shoulder or hip surgery.

There are not enough positive words or phrases to describe my experience with Dr. Eric Gordon and his team during my knee surgery. Everyone there was so helpful, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable! Dr. Gordon answered all my questions in a way that even I could understand them! I hope I don't ever have a need for a knee surgeon again but if I do I will definitely choose Dr. Gordon. Thank you all for your care!

Dr. Wirges did an amazing job explaining what needed to be done. His explanation was spot on with where my pain was, why I was having it (most likely), and where to go from there. Highly recommend him! He was very polite and straight forward! Mrs. Angela did an amazing job teaching someone during my X-rays as well! Friendly staff inside the clinic!

Dr. Wyatt performed an amazing rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder in July. I did twice weekly PT with Ellen Austin. They were both amazing, listened attentively to my questions and concerns, and explained things to me in a way I could thoroughly understand. I would definitely recommend these two for anyone with similar needs.

Dr Cayme and his staff were all very accommodating and very kind and welcoming. I have been in pain so long I had forgotten what it felt like to get relief. For however long it lasts I thank God for his knowledge and treatment for that relief. I had DR Newburn he has hands like God. For five years I was back and forth. DR to DR he did my 5 th Surg. He was so good to me. After 4 hours of surg on the right side of my left knee it feels good I do go back to see him and will talk to him about the right side of the left knee. This man has A heart and I'm so thankful for him.
