Dr. Heinsch is the best doctor I've ever met. He performed surgery on my broken ankle. He answers every question I have & addresses every concern I bring up. His team / staff are all accommodating and compassionate. Tbh, I can't imagine why others on here would leave one star with a complaint. I haven't had any billing problems... insurance can be tricky as far as how co-pays & deductibles work, but that does not pertain to GA Bone & Joint. Like seriously people? Don't let the other negative reviews steer you away from seeking treatment here. (The authors of those bad reviews are likely people who are not satisfied in other areas of their life)

I had carpal tunnel surgery by Dr Cushing and his work was so well that I did not have to use any pain medication for relief afterwards. It was totally unnecessary.

After breaking my hip and being told it wasn't broken in Atlanta I went to Piedmont Newnan Hospital after hobbling on crutches about 4 days where Dr. Ballantyne had to operate for a lateral break just below the hip ball with 3 screws. Later on I developed pain in my arms, neck, back, and shoulders. No one could find the source of my pain which continued to get worse as time went on. By January I was miserable and spent the majority of my time in bed crying in pain or running back and forth between different doctors and the ER with nothing at all showing up in my bloodwork.. Dr. Brownlow at the Georgia Pain and Spine Center referred me to Dr. Chad Kessler. I saw him one afternoon. He lined up an MRI the next morning and called me back to his office that very afternoon. He saw something on my MRI that he was suspicious of. He made my daughter promise to take me directly to the hospital without even packing a bag. Finally something was about to be done. Doing a biopsy on my neck immediately revealed that I had MRSA staff infection in my spinal column. It had eaten away a bunch of muscle and skin tissue and a disc at the base of my neck and had begun eating the vertebrae above and below it. One vertebrae was falling forward and soon would l probably have permanently damaged my spinal cord. Dr. Kessler was so worried about me that he did emergency surgery on the weekend, removing all the damaged tissue and fusing my vertebrae back in place in my entire neck. I would have died if he hadn't acted so quickly preventing the MRSA from getting to my brain. I have been told by many doctors that his quick action literally saved my life. After a long recovery with antibiotic care from the infectious disease doctors he contacted I was left with what I consider to be only moderate pain and restriction to my neck. I've also had knee surgery, carpal tunnel surgery, and dequervains release surgery from Dr. Jack Powell. That's just what I can remember over the years. I have literally trusted these doctors with my life and would again without any hesitation whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned there are no better group if physicians anywhere!

The whole experience has been great. Dr Micheal Gruber and his team are awesome. This is the second time in 21 yrs of worker that I have been hurt on the job. The first was a nightmare experience. All of the staff at ga bone and joint have been so kind and professional. Several of my coworkers have been treated by Dr Gruber and his staff and they have nothing but great things to say. This is my first surgery and it’s been 24hrs since I went under. My knee feels 100% better already and can’t wait to get back to work. His office is 2hrs from my home but what ever orthopedic needs I may have in the future this is where I will go and have them done. I just want to say thanks so much to Dr Gruber and his staff for expertise and professionalism. I can’t say enough good things. Thanks so much

I had severe arthritis in my right knee and walking was very painful. Dr. Jayson McMath was very knowledgeable, thorough and wisely suggested two alternative treatments before opting for the full knee replacement. Both of the alternatives failed to provide the long-term relief I needed in order to maintain my active lifestyle, so I finally chose to have a full knee replacement. Dr. McMath and the staff of Piedmont Hospital-Newnan provided excellent care before, during and after my surgery. I am now 9 months post-op and have full use of my knee. I am able to walk 8-10,000 steps each day with no discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. McMath and the friendly and efficient staff at Georgia Bone & Joint.
