Since I turned 75 I have several accidents,, tripped at jail, broke my knee cap,, elbow, facial bones, put a dent in my skull and blacked out. Fell at Outback in PTC broke left thumb. Fell at Walmart broke two fingers on left hand. GA Bone& Joint Treated all injuries

I would highly recommend Dr. Balentyne for shoulder surgery. My surgery was a little more challenging than most. He thought my surgery through to give me the best outcome. My PT, Kelly H., was awesome as well. She could pinpoint issue sites and work through them for optimum mobility. She is very patient and kind and listens well.

I have always loved Dr Powell III. He treated me until he was going into retirement. He referred me to Dr McMath who is a wonder Dr. My family has used Georgia Bone and Joint for years. I love them and don't see no reason to ever stop. They are wonderful.

Had an appointment for 6:30 for MRI got there at 6:00 crying in so much pain they told me my appointment wasn't until the 17th I told him no they called and moved it up I was in so much pain I was the first one that got there last night and they took another a man that came in that said his appointment wasn't until 8:00 and he could wait he didn't mind he wasn't in no pain I'm laying there crying and they took that man that was supposed to be there at 8:00 cuz they told me I called and canceled my appointment yesterday why would I be here crying hurting like I am if I called and canceled they took two more people ahead of me when I was the first one there I am very upset

Scheduled a follow up appointment at a 9:30. At 10:30 am I was still sitting in the patient room and waiting on the doctor. I left the patient room and the building. There is not possible explanation on how your run over an hour behind when you are only 40 minutes in to the schedule. Furthermore, not word from the office since I left. Makes me feel that they really have no interest in there patients. I am moving on to another provider and hope for better service.

My physical therapist Shana was everything. Very helpful. She gave great advice on how to further my healing and explained how my joints and muscles work the way they do. She gave me detailed advice on how to get better. ????

Dr.McMath is always approachable and educational. Every time we’ve visited he thoroughly and clearly explained anatomically and physiologically what was going on with the issue and how it would be best to treat it. With 3 active boys I have seen this doctor a few times, and I always leave knowing more than when I arrived.

It really pains me to rate only 3 stars - Dr. Ballantyne and his staff are wonderful, attentive people and I have always been treated with concern and respect. The reduced rating is due to Dr. Ballantyne's decision to not replace my patella during a Revision TKR - I have endured 18 months of extreme pain and the necessity of two additional operations to correct the lapse in judgement. If you are having a Revision Total Knee Replacement, I strongly suggest and urge you to discuss the patella issue with him.

Over the past year I have been cared for by the staff at Georgia Bone and Joint and I could not be more satisfied. They have always taken the necessary time to explain the procedures and provided great follow up too. Over the years I've had both hips replaced and one knee and the care provided by Georgia Bone and Joint has been excellent. I always have a positive experience at Georgia Bone & Joint. The staff is friendly and doctors knowledgeable. Dr. Ballantyne is so good. He can look at how you are sitting or standing and tell what the problem is. He did a fantastic job on my rotator cuff surgery. I highly recommend GB&J.

The 2 stars is for Dr. Mcmath great job on my hand! But the staff NO!!!!!! I had a cast on for about 5 weeks and didn't even get an date on when to have it removed. I had to call and was told it should of been off. After that for two weeks I was in constant pain and swelling couldn't even get pain medication when I called it's not like I was asking for something strong something to ease the pain. I had the run around for that one not very happy had to go else where and just get pain medication and an ice pack thank you GBJ for caring????

Rarely give 5 star rating, always room for improvement. BUT, no pain after total knee replacement? Well, Dr. Michael Gruber at Ga Bone and Joint did the number. Less than three months since that surgery and I'm having the other knee taken care of. Could not have had a better surgeon based on my results. Look forward to the same results or better with the upcoming surgery. Thanks

Since surgery in February, I have two brand new knees!! Dr Ballantyne, Haley and Elaine in Joint School, did a fabulous job of preparing me - with information on nutrition before and after, exercises for before and after, and expectations after surgery. They made themselves available for questions ( and I had many), answering them honestly for me. I am so thankful for having had this life changing surgery, and feel I had the best treatment and follow up ever!

Dr. Jack Powell III is an awesome Dr. He takes up a lot of time with you and goes in to detail what is best for you. The nurses are always friendly.
I recommend Dr. Jack Powell III , he done my right knee replacement surgery about ten years ago and I have not had any problems with it since he fixed it.
He done my right shoulder surgery this past September 2017 and I have not had any problems with it. I am able to every thing that I want to do.He will tell you if you really want the surgery to work, you have to follow all the instructions and exercises just like I tell you and be honest with me how you are doing after surgery and while in physical therapy.
I did everything he had me to do and I have full round motion and no problems at all.
Thanks George Bone & Joint for everything.

Had complications with a work injury treated a month ago. Contacted GA Bone and Joint, and their Worker’s Comp dept. got me approved with my employer’s insurance company quickly and set me an immediate appointment. Saw a doctor within 10 minutes of arriving. Great experience (minus the injury). Would recommend GB&J to anyone needing an Orthopedic doctor.
