The walk-in care is so convenient. We took our son directly to Watagua Orthopedic for an xray on his wrist. I cannot stress enough how helpful it was to not have to sit through a regular ER or urgent care appointment first! The staff was warm and knowledgeable and they had his xray and casting done within an hour of going back to the exam room. Hopefully we don’t need any X-rays again anytime soon, but if we did, I would go to Watagua.

Everyone at Watauga was very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't have an appt., just walked in and was out less than 1 hour which included x-rays. Fast personal for sure.

Very courteous and professional staff. I was especially surprised and thankful for the prayer that was offered up before my procedure. I had two back to back appointments for two different procedures and was completely finished and out even before the second appointment time. Highly recommend this group! I had Dr Thomas Jenkins...Hes actually from our home town!! He and his parents are well known and respected in our community...I had total knee replacement and got along wonderfully!..I also healed very well and quickly....My surgery was at Holston Valley and I had wonderful caring nurses who were always ready to do anything I needed...

This is the most organized and friendly group of doctors and staff that I have ever been too! The doctors are world class in their field of service. Their support staff is also extraordinary skilled and efficient. I highly recommend Watauga Orthopeadics!! You will not be sorry you if You select them for help with your Orthopeadic health issues. ( FYI, I am a Retired RN and I’m very picky with the expectations I have of doctors and their Offices.)

I used the walk-in clinic on Saturday and got great quick service. Highly professional and caring from the receptionist to the technician to the doctor. I got all my questions answered in a patient and comprehensive way. We discussed treatment options and follow up. I highly recommend them.

Took our daughter there for a broken wrist, staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Dr Fowler was great! We drove from Somerset, Ky due to their great reputation. Husband needed to see an Orthopedic (didnt have an appointment)and they accommodated us by having him see Dr Fowler also. Recommend if you have a need for an Orthopedic Dr, definitely see these guys at Watauga. Drove 4 hours and would do it all over again should the need arise without hesitation

I have been to the walk-in clinic twice for tendinitis in my thumb/wrist. The staff have been exceptional. The injections make life once again tolerable. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Everyone was cordial and treated me like I was the only patient being treated at the time. I felt like the treatment was very good. Physical therapy was recommended. I chose PT at Watauga but I was given numerous options.

I am very pleased with the quality of care at Watauga orthopaedics inJohnson City. The staff is pleasant and professional. I haven’t waited more than 15 to see Dr. Lord. He did a fantastic job on my hand surgery and follow up visits. I appreciate the level of commitment to serving patients in a compassionate way. I had knee surgery with Dr. Stewart several years ago. He and his PA, Alvin are excellent health care professionals.

I finally had it with the pain in my shoulders. I went to Watauga orthopedics walk in clinic and was astonished at the speed and professionalism I experienced. After some brief paperwork I was brought into the back for a comprehensive exam and x-rays. I found out that I had arthritis. Something that I had thought of as the symptoms of the pain. They administered two painless injections in my shoulders and was advised that I may be able to avoid further pain with the injections. I'm following up with their surgeon to further evaluate my condition in 6 weeks. If all goes well I may choose to manage my pain through injections of a anti-inflammatory and range of motion exercises. If not then I will have the surgeon and I discuss my options. I usually am not this satisfied with any service but in this case my experience was fantastic!

Dr. McQuain was awesome, explained detail by detail what he was going to do before and during procedure, and in detail things to expect. He was very kind, caring, and had a demeanor that was calm and peaceful, making for an easy non anxious procedure for me. Great nursing staff too. I would recommend him highly!

My daughter had her hand broken by a bad ????. We took her to Watauga Orthopedics after being put off by the orthopedic office we were referred to by the ER.
They got her in immediately and fixed the damage done. If we had it to do over, we would have taken her to Watauga Orthopedics first. Top notch care.
