Found this place easy to navigate round due to the bilingual signage etc. Place has been recently painted and has a calming ambience with soothing lavender smelling carpets. Only downside was there wasn't many vending machines and it was hard to get a half decent pint of Guinness in it(should have a better smoking area too) Apart from that the holding cells get a huge thumbs up for comfort. Bit expensive though.

Unique experience, but do some homework. There is a museum (open business hours) and you can watch court hearings. Look up if there is a court hearing happening, and if it will be a CLOSED session. Closed means you sit behind glass and watch a bunch of ppl with microphones turned off, talking to each other -_-. The museum is free and decent (figure 30-90 mins). The "cafeteria" is pretty minimal. The guards are...guards. Not sure why other reviewers got worked up over them. There are free iPhone audio guides to the museum that tell you WAY more than the exhibits alone can - available in English or French.

Good selection of mood music, and they even spray air freshener around Mrs Bensouda's chill zone on a regular basis

I am a victim of human rights violations that violate the Convention on the Rights of the Child in a discrimination case sponsored by the Buraku Liberation League in Kumano-cho, Aki-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1994. I have been enslaved by the perpetrators in violation of Article 8.2 of the Covenant on Civil Liberties and used as a product to distribute financial benefits to those involved in the case. By countering this, the organizations involved in the case have been tortured in violation of Article 16 of the Convention against Torture. He has also been infringed on human rights, which violates Article 17 of the International Covenant on Civil Liberties. The Japanese government does not prevent the outbreak of torture, which violates Article 16 of the International Covenant on Civil Liberties on a daily basis. This treatment by the Japanese government violates Article 25 of the International Covenant on Civil Liberties. This is because the government is involved in neglecting human rights violations, and the Japanese government should arrest supporters of torture on the basis of Article 4 of the Convention against Torture and execute punishment on the basis of Article 4.2 of the Convention against Torture. Is. Recommendations to the Japanese government, acceptance of reports, criminal trial procedures Seeking early establishment. I have been enslaved by extortion for 26 years and have been commercialized and exploited for the financial benefit of the organizations involved in all cases. This is inhumane. Mikami Shizuya It is a non-anonymous report, and the address is also reported to the Human Rights Committee, the Convention against Torture, the Enforced Disappearance Committee, and the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Publish this case and ask for cross-examination of all perpetrators involved in the case. Also against the International Court of Justice Satisfaction is difficult because personal claims should be accepted and irreparable damage has occurred without provisional safeguards.

The only place we really have to bring serious crimes committed by our governments against us to some Truth and Justice. As a Norwegian I will have to start the process here, after 4 years and 10 months of torture with radioactive equipment made by criminals, the police picked up the leftovers from after I had destroyed most of it in order to free myself. I was hostage of those using war equipment for crimes, had no help from the police after asking ,... But when they finally realized because I was able to crack down the software, send it to Microsoft and ask THEM to help me... The alarm went off. But the police... picked up the equipment and used it against me as a victim of the crimes. 4 years and 10 months now.. continuously tortured with : radioactive radiation, chemicals, installations, Sonic attacks, electricity, chemicals in the water, etc etc. So Norway and Denmark with the responsible people for this operation will be brought to answer for it. I'm so glad we have at least ONE place to find Justice. Cause Norway is way too corrupt and criminal all the way.

I'd like to write a review of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, although the internet will not allow me to do so at this time: due to the poor layout and format of a company called Google, which will likely fold in due time. I wish the ICC much success, and join them in their shared aims: and the review I would like to write on the UN ICTY is one of an informed perspective: as a New York-licensed attorney. Some reviews are more valuable than others, and having worked and seen this court from the inside: the ICTY, that is: my written review was bound to be impeccable or stellar. To assemble or organize an international staff to operate a building conducting lawful procedures and trials is incredibly complex. Again, to reiterate: I did not work at the International Criminal Court, nor I am writing this tribunal of The Hague. I have spent some time trying to write the review for the UN ICTY, and it is not possible at this time. The UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, based on its procedures and operations that I saw firsthand in its prosecution and above all its staff of competent Prosecutors, objective and neutral fact-finders leading an investigation and prosecution against those charged with the most serious crimes of war and genocide: I hope that the world will remember the UN ICTY, for it impressed me like no other. All of the people there treated me with professionalism and incorporated into the process of prosecution, to the extent appropriate for one at my level as an intern. The technology never faltered or delayed our work, and I've worked at many places as a lawyer that have had numerous tech outages or failures. The staffing also impressed me, and I have such dear memories of the Bosnian Case Manager I met, and there were different perspective of various regions represented. I will forever remember this incredible court of The Hague, although I am not sure the general public will, but it may and I hope that it does. For its case decisions, its memorandums, briefs or pleadings: were all very well done, to the extent that I observed it, which was a window of four months, or three and a half, although I think it was closer to four: I could see that the legal operations of this place were impeccable and outstanding. I had no leanings one way or another as far as the prosecution: nor any real tendency and bias to favor one side of the conflict over another. I really had no leanings whatsoever, and arrived very prepared for the prosecution's trial of Dragomir Milošević, and from a legal and prosecutorial standpoint: the trials couldn't have been more well-done, at least from my perspective. I wish I could write this review where it belongs, under the UN-ICTY's reviews, although at the time, and I cannot figure out why: that operation is not possible, so I have chosen to write the text here: under the ICC's page of reviews. I heard that the procedures, at least those which were beginning, were well done, but I cannot review them, as I was not involved. My understanding and belief is that this court of The Hague is to conduct their own investigations and criminal prosecutions or trials in a way which emulates, as much as possible: the ICTY's legalism, appropriate to the ICC's different jurisdiction. I support the work of the ICC as well, and I wish all of them: the very best of luck, although as a rule of thumb: always remember: these are two very distinct and separate places. I was an intern placed in the OTP in the Summer of 2007.

My dad was tried here for 15 counts of War Crimes, Genocide, and Child Enslavement. Overall quick process, only took 1 year for the final hearing and he was sentenced to life very respectfully and professionally. Only giving 4 stars because my seat was uncomfortable and the room smelt like old people.

Mmmm, it’s a wonderful institution that’s beyond doubt, but to be honest the best way to experience it must be to come under arrest because the interested visitor experience is less than impressive - a handful of not-very-interactive pods and a random collection of posters and poorly lip-synced screens. Granted that they have a job to do and a budget to manage, it would do well to put together a better display of its purpose than this. ...and as we walked away, we were serenaded by the sound of persistent rifle fire from the adjacent rifle range. Not the most sensitive location planning one might think.

Pretty impressive. They have nice exhibitions inside quite insightful and they present stories of victims and the work of icc and what it represents. They also have a quiz in which you can act as a prosecutor and make decisions. Was impressed by a series of black framed paintings that represented the victims in an abstract mode - black little sculptures- and they even had an actual bullet shot in the heart of one of those statues. Small details but effective. It is impressive because its structure is made of glass and rock solid materials. Also they have some sort of a bridge over an artificial river i think its very effective in terms of aesthetics for human rights defending institution.

As I come to suffer from the violation of all my rights as a universal citizen, the International Court takes a deeper look When it comes to war crimes and human rights crimes, and generally because of the lack of assistance from the nation where you are born, you can be sure that there will always be help from the International Supreme Court as it was for me and other unversal citizens.

Wasteful outfit to promote unfairness and preferential treatment around the world. You forgot your mandate and indulged into political games. Your days are over and the time is not far away when the only ones in your despicable jurisdiction are those whose political strategies you are so busy executing now. I feel nothing but contempt towards ICC and so do many other people around the Globe. Disgusted and outraged!!T
