Absolutely terrible service. Part advertised as "in stock". A week after I paid I received an email to say that the delivery was coming from Japan, and would be another 3 weeks. Requested to cancel the order by phone and asked for a refund. fobbed off with the excuse that their accounts team had been furloghed, so it would take a while. 6 weeks later, I am still waiting... Sadly the review won't allow zero stars

Their servicing is good, reasonably priced, diigent with the paperwork and so forth, good with the reminders. One star deducted cos they sold me a slightly dodgy Piaggio a few years ago but it was cheap. Just some general advice for ppl thinking of buying a scooter for the first time - there's next to no point buying 2nd hand - it's a needless lottery that starts costing you as soon as soon as something goes wrong. If you possibly can buy a new one do that and pick a trusted branded (frankly just buy a honda pcx cheap & reliable and does what you need it to).

Daniel and the Scooters team have been excellent. I brought 4 Honda bikes over the past 3 years (as I passed my bike tests) whilst living in London and their service has been outstanding, thank you very much!!

Nothing to complain. Their workshop Scooters Ltd/Chelsea Honda in Fulham is not the cheapest (reasonable price for the location I guess) but the most reliable I have used so far. Work is done within half a day and service is professional. It is also convenient that the workshop is central and not far away from where I live (other workshops pick it up and bring it somewhere to the outskirts for repair). 5 stars because they brought two of my (old and worn) scooters back to life within a day during the last two years.

The staff were very helpful. They had a great selection of accessories and guided me through the helmet fitting process. Happy first time customer, will recommend them to my friends.

Just got back from scooters ltd with my now working motorcycle. After breaking down on the way to work this morning they guys at scooters couldn't do enough to help me out & got my bike back on the road...no fuss, price was reasonable as they could have held me to ransom as I was desperate to get my bike back on the road (I think I drank my monies worth of free coffee while waiting!!) anyway well done & thank you, in the words of Arnie "I'll be back"

Need work doing? Take your bike somewhere else... Sorry, this is a long post. I recently took my Vespa GTS 250 in to Scooters Ltd/Chelsea Honda in Fulham for a service and MOT and since then I've had nothing but problems with the bike. I took the bike to them as the location was convenient – I was working nearby. I’d normally use Scooterden. I actually live in Greenwich and I wasn't expecting this to be the huge headache it's turned out to be. When I brought the bike in it had two issues I wanted checking out. There was air leaking from the front tyre valve and the bike was sounding a little tinny when it was idling. Other than that the bike was running fine and hadn't given me any problems. When the service was done I was told the belt and rollers were showing some wear and the rattling was the clutch, which I was told needed replacing. I was also told the front tyre valve had been fixed. The bike needed to stay in the workshop for a couple of days. Fine. When I was contacted to say that the bike was ready and the bill was £370. I asked about the MOT and was told it hadn't been listed for an MOT. Suddenly, when the MOT was done the front tyre was illegal and needed replacing (despite the tyre valve having been fixed, when I'd expect this to be picked up). So I paid an additional £100 for a new tyre and the MOT. When riding the bike home it developed a squeal when moving from stationary with an accompanying loss of power. I also noticed that oil was dropping from the bike, there was oil all over the stand pools on my parking space when I got home. I called them back and explained what was wrong with the bike and dropped it back in for the entire day. I was told the oil was 'old oil from the service' and that the clutch needed to 'bed in'. The best way to describe the attitude was ‘fobbed off.’ With the amount they charge for labour (more than £60+VAT an hour) I wouldn't expect the bike to come back covered in 'old oil' in the first place. I took the bike back having been told there was nothing wrong with it. The squealing continued and the bike continued to drip oil. The bike was hard to accelerate from a standing start, so I took it back in again from Greenwich, wasting much of my day - and as I'm self employed that costs me money. This time, the 'old oil' turned out to be an actual oil leak from the filler gasket that wasn't a result of the service but something that started the afternoon? The bike was serviced. A part needed to be ordered and the bike had to stay in the workshop again for two days. At the same time the clutch was cleaned, sorting that problem out. Bill this time £40. I got the bike back on Friday, rode it home and parked up at home. Went away for the weekend. Coming back to the bike on Monday the brand new front tyre was flat. I checked it over for damage (no damage) and pumped it up, it seems to be slowly leaking air and over the course of 24hrs it went flat again. More importantly, the bike also wouldn’t start. I dropped them a couple of emails to the workshop address, asking them to give me a ring but they ignored them. Checked the bike over, tested the battery and found that the sparkplug lead was hanging off, it mustn’t have been attached properly. Now I just have to take the bike in to a tyre place to get their work sorted out. Honestly, I’ve had more trouble with it in the last two weeks than in the six years I’ve owned it. Seriously shoddy. I’d use them at your own risk.

In April 2012 I brought-in my bike with starting problems. The diagnosis I was given required major surgery at £600 - this entailed changing 3 different parts. I insisted on having a second look as they had not managed to identify the problem but the diagnosis was based on suspicion of what the problem could be. The repair was revised to changing one part for c. £200. But it did not solve the problem, and the workshop blamed it on -me/the client- for not doing the full £600 job originally required. I went to another Honda certified workshop for a second opinion. A new spark plug and air filter solved the problem for £28. Unprofessional treatment all the way: a) excuses from the owner not taking responsibility for the diagnosis (its easier to change all the parts, at some point the problem gets solved and if not it’s the customer money at the end of the day – My request for a refund has been ingnored), and b) workshop manager who is disrespectful with clients and acts immaturely by putting down the phone rather than engaging on a conversation to find a solution.
