The quality of the food is incredibly high for a food Street market. You will definitely find something that suit what you are looking for, from Asian cuisine to Brazilian, from French to Spanish. Bring some cash as not all the stands accept card payments. You can find great beers too and a few bars

An amazing selection of food stalls, breweries and overall positive vibes. Can get very busy on the weekends so recommend going either early or later in the day

Perhaps smaller and less known than other markets in London. Nonetheless, it has many great food options and places to have a drink. The steak and chips place is a great option.

This is a small market focused on street-food, which gets very busy at the weekends. There are some nice bars as well. A big advantage is that, unlike borough market, it is open on Sundays. I really like the range of stalls they have - it’s just nicely curated and there is a wide range of different foods considering the size of the market. The Vietnamese food stall that is always there is so good- for veggies, the lemongrass tofu does not disappoint. It’s packed with flavour.

Exmouth Market is a must-visit attraction for any foodie in the world. Why? Because as I discovered, it's a street food market below a railway arch offering an array of cuisines from around the world, from Brazilian and Venezuelan to Japan to Vietnamese. As I walked through the narrow street amidst a sea of colourful national flag hanging above you, my nostrils will picked-up a riot of mouth-watering aromas, as trains whizz above me. It's busy but not overwhelming so, and the sides are lined with independent shops selling anything from artisanal bread, craft gin and vintage homewares. When the sun's out, I noticed people dining alfresco. I also noticed people queuing for food and from my experience, where there's a queue, you know the food here is good. From savoury to sweet, you'll find something to suit your palate here. Many of the vendors accept cards and as a Londoner born and bred, I think Exmouth Market is one of those places that represent the best of London: full of colour, smell, sound, colour and diversity. Highly recommended.

Have been able to finally make it to the much raved Maltby street market. It was so full of life with so many stalls and people. We tried to try as much as possible, key highlights were - spinach empanada, mozzarella polenta and the vegan Arepa! The variety in the market is great, however the only disappointing thing was the Devi’s stall missing today!

A really great food market with lots of options and good food to eat. The burger at African Volcano was excellent and goats cheese waffle from Waffle On was amazing. Lots of other options on site too so make sure you are hungry when you arrive!

A simple London market of a couple dozen food stands. The outer market has some nice craft breweries and spirit makers. We enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwiches, steak and chips.

A bustling street food market with so many great vendors serving a wide range of cuisines. Tucked away near the railway arches in Bermondsey it’s nice to combine with a trip to the local breweries on the ‘beer mile’

Maltby Street Market is a short narrow street market with handful of quality food stalls. Expect highest quality sourced ingredients with clever flavour combinations. The grilled cheese Toastie is to die for. Tricky to find, but my biggest tips is to walk down from tower bridge towards Elephant and Castle. You’ll find hot chocolate with blow torches marshmallow topping, oysters, Ethiopian snacks, gnocchi with melted compte cheese on top, among other favourites like fresh waffles. Will definitely go back.

Super cool place, plenty of food stalls, lovely shops, little pubs and stylish bars. The public is a mix of locals and first timers like us. I felt like being somewhere else than London, it had a feel of New Forest/Limington to it. It's so hipster and trend setting that Shoreditch felt like a child still learning how to walk. A must go.

Lovely little market I’ve visited a couple of times. So much great local food and drink. Come for the food at the market stalls then stay for a drink at one of the great bars

Love this place. Go to the Italian for great selection of wines and very reasonably priced considering central London.

Small, bustling food market with a wide variety of food stalls from Taiwanese bubble waffles to Venezuelan arepas on one side and cute cafes/bars on the other side. Worth a visit on the weekends. Bring your appetite.

Great market with loads of great tasting food! Stalls line the streets with vendors serving food from all parts of the world. Can get quite cold in winter as the street turns into a wind tunnel but the food is definitely worth it, great beer and wine stalls too!

Small but lovely. Expensive foods, would be great if more stalls opened with more affordable options.

Favourite market in all of London! There are so many great food options to choose from! And even on bad weather days plenty of opportunity to find shelter. Definitely come here with an empty stomach and be prepared to have some amazing food! I can especially recommend the vegetarian naans from Devi's! One of the tastiest things I've ever had

The scotch eggs were definitely my favourite. It was £5 for one or with chips and salad £8. It was so scrumptious. The steak and chips were ok not the best. It’s a quieter place than other street food markets, still busy but not too bad. I’d definitely recommend this place. It’s a short walk from Bermondsey station.

Very cool, smaller market that’s open on the weekends. Beefsteaks is the best thing here - slices of beef over chips with chimmichuri sauce on top.

It's not a long street only half an hour is enough to visit. There are some seats but not too many. The place is a little bit hard to find but it's worth going there.

Decent food but queues were long and the insistent on wearing face nappies outside was farcical.

Loved it here, had oysters and asked for their recommendations and also had the white wine they suggested which went well. Also went to the Little Bird gin company for gin cocktails.. fab. Lots of different food stalls to choose from. London Bridge is closest tube station.

Best thing to do is grab a gin at Lady Bird then bring back loads of interesting food options and enjoy the afternoon! If still available, would highly recommend trying the hot pineapple gin.

Great experience. Sorted food choices from all around the world. Bangers and mash a particular favourite. Craft ales available too. You realise every one is standing interacting with each other! Chatting laughing and literally no one is on their phone. Loved the atmosphere and the bustle. As a photographer there was lots to photograph and the vendors were very accommodating. Well worth a visit.

One of London's underappreciated markets. It's located in the heart of London, but unfortunately I've been ignoring it for so many years. Great variety of street food, all placed in one narrow street. Have tried Venezuelan dish. Payed 7.50 and gig not regret it. Also Maltby can offer variety of cocktail bars to go together with your dish.

One of my favourite markets in London. Great selection of food, drink and atmosphere. It does get busy at times, but the occasional wait is well worth it. Personal favourite is the steak & chips with chimichurri dressing. So good!

We were quite stuffed after getting here from Johnny's Fish and Chips, but walking along this street. sure made us hungry again. Large variety of options, from pancakes to scotch eggs to steaks, and coffees.

A hidden treasure in east London ! Tucked away from the bustling tourist fest of tower bridge and south bank is a tiny backstreet under the railway arches . Huge selection of market stalls from around the world from Indian , Japanese to Greek , South African and Brazilian and everything and everywhere in between ! Can get busy in warmer months obviously ... don’t forget to go a little further down and on the other side of the arches as there’s many more stalls to try ...

Great selection of street vendors (Waffle On, Bad Brownie, Cheese Truck, Little Bird Gin, Herman ze German, etc) and a rotating array of others. Do what I do: hop down later in the day or earlier in the morning (before noon and after 4) to miss the crowds, grab a cheese toastie and have a £5 G&T in a cave filled with antique furniture.
