Ashby Court Care Home - Bupa

My Mum came to Ashby court Care Home for end of life care from Hospital (January 19) We was told that she had a few weeks left. With the excellent care received she had turned the corner and came back to us. We cannot fault their care, kindness and professionalism. All the staff are so friendly, helpful and very caring. We was very impressed that it didn't smell like a care home due to their very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene regime. They have a hairdressers for the residents on site. A chiropodist comes in every week or two. Outings for residents every now and then. Opticians visits too. Family can join their loved ones for lunch (you need to enquire first) I have heard that the food is excellent. Lovely gardens to relax, enjoy and spend time with your family and friends. Unfortunately my Mum passed away during lockdown from Vascular Dementia. A wonderful Nurse called Laura was with her and held her hand. We take great comfort that she wasn't alone as we couldn't be there for her. Thank you Laura, your a star and angle. We would highly recommend Ashby court Care Home to all that are considering this option. Once again, thank you for everything that you all have done for my Mum and our family. God bless you all.

We joined our relative for the Boxing Day lunch and it was delicious! The hostess, Joan went to great lengths to make sure our needs were met and those of our 15 month old granddaughter. The table looked lovely, with clean linen and all the extras of a Christmas Feast; even a special pink cracker for the baby. Please thank all the kitchen staff, headed by Chef Jo, for a superb meal. I don't stay here but my mum does and she loves it.
