Shelley Community Pharmacy

I rarely, if ever, leave reviews for anything, but the team that work for Shelley Pharmacy deserve a shout out. I've used their services monthly since I moved to Worthing a few years ago. Whenever I speak to them over the phone, they're always courteous and on the rare occasion I have to go in personally, they're always friendly and efficient. Case in point, this afternoon I had a consult with a GP who prescribed me with some medicine. I had the phone call around 5:30pm so I was expecting the medicine to possibly be delivered tomorrow (today is Friday) but I was expecting it to arrive on Monday. It arrived through my letterbox five minutes ago, twenty minutes after the phone consultation. Health services in West Sussex (and Britain in general) have come under a lot of criticism (particularly since 2010). But I work in social care and I'm somewhat aware of the pressure and demands that teams like these are under and the lengths they have to go to just to keep things running day-to-day. It's services like Shelley Pharmacy that show the absolute best of the NHS. The folks that work here are a credit to their profession and I just wish that everyone had access to such a dedicated group of people.

Couldn't ask for better. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the meds are always ready on time (if not early) and always delivered with a smile.

I have been going to this pharmacy now for a good few years . The changes I have seen in it have been wonderful. Staff are friendly and always willing to help , as are the pharmacist. This is an extremely busy pharmacy . And I am very happy with service I receive .

Everyone at this pharmacy is really helpful, only the other week I came out of a doctors appointment feeling very upset due to a diagnoses, however they were ready to help, they offered me a glass of water, and gave me somewhere private to sit. Whatever question or query I have, they are always ready to help. Despite them being busy they always have time for customers and have never made me feel rushed. My 95 year old neighbour gets her prescriptions delivered by Shelley pharmacy, and they are always so efficient, she can request something and it will arrive the next day, or if it’s urgent the same day! Fantastic service. Thank you for all you do.

What an amazing pharmacy. The staff are always courteous and efficient. The delivery service especially is always prompt and all the pharmacy staff are very accommodating and helpful. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and always offer help or if needed a referral to the GP. I will definitely be using this pharmacy for the foreseeable future, they top the big brands like Boots any day.

Took a prescription in two and a half weeks ago. Collected yesterday only half there and pharmacist Couldn’t have cared less bearing in mind it was asthma medication to be able to breath. Not helpful at all

Fantastic and professional service when using this pharmacy. Staff and pharmacists are full of knowledge and very helpful.

Unfairly treated and accused of dog attack/bite to delivery driver. (Excited and jumped up in OWN garden previously not a problem but now says there was) Rude pharmacy manager totally handled wrong not discussed in private. Unsympathetic staff. Never felt comfortable no welcome or smile. Breach of confidentiality. Complaint investigated but pharmacy exonerated. Their word above ours. Although admitted at time a scratch. Denied breaching confidentiality.

Have changed Pharmacy as Shelley is well! Chaos! Too small, too many staff falling over each other and never runs smoothly

Never deliver when they say they will. Never answer the phone and never call back!
