Sales are awful and very rude. Finally bought an awesome insignia from Kent and have had no problems. Had an accident on the ice and needed fixing so insurance sorted with pentagon, absolutely useless people, ripped my insurance off with parts that didn't need doing and then only did the minimal so have reported this, rental car looked like it was a bumper car off a carnival ride. And the bits that were fixed were not fixed properly and now have to take it back in. Am not looking forward to this at all. Also Guy with grey beard in services is the biggest up his own back side idiot I have ever met and is very very dodgy.

came from Leicester for an 11am appointment for an oil and filter change on our Movano van. Decided not to wait, so walked into town, agreeing to return at 1pm. We were assured that it would be ready. On returning at 1.45pm it hadn't been started! We were told they would do it straight away and that it would take half an hour. At 2pm it was still in the car park untouched so we collected the keys and left. We had to be back in Leicester for 3pm. A complete waste of time and diesel.

I bought my New Vauxhall Corsa Energy from Pentagon Derby back in April with the release of the new reg. Very happy with service i received. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff throughout the site. First purchase on finance and the sales manager was more than helpful is discussing my options and advising me on the best way to SAVE MONEY! Took advantage of the Vauxhall Scrappage token on offer at the time and got 1500 for my old Fiesta. Little bit of hassle trying to get everything under way and sorting my insurance sorted out ready for collection was a nightmare - probably due to my age, but vehicle was fully valeted and cleaned ready for me to drive away on the day. So far so good, no problems so far! There's quite a few mixed reviews out there, think its all just part of the trade, if you are considering a new vehicle, give Pentagon a try, good value for money, great staff a reputable dealer you can rely on! Don't let reviews manipulate your decision too much, make your own mind up on the service you received! Mine was great!

Took my small car in for a service, when it returned it had developed a judder, took the car back and they said they had fixed it, the judder returned , took it back again and they could not find the problem, took it back a third time and was told that it needed a new clutch, they could not give me a total cost but quoted £395 to remove the gear box to have a look, one can only assume the cost would have been nearer the £500 when done. I collected the car and had an independent quote from a clutch specialist who quoted £250 which was a considerable amount cheaper than the main dealer, so i told them to proceed , However the clutch dealer phoned me and told me that upon investigation they could not find an issue with the clutch. What ever the judder was it has now gone. This is not the first time i have had issues with this dealership, on the same car they wanted to charge me £120 for a new rear washer a few yaers ago , i filled it up with water and it worked fine. All this just confirms my mistrust in garages UPDATE: following on from my last review, We took our Antara for its service approximately 3 weeks ago as it is on a service plan and under warranty, we were told it needed new brakes on the rear and fronts were getting low, So we booked it in at Kwikfit to change the rear pads , Pentagon quoted £204.00 Kwikfit quoted £93.00 , no brainer anyway my wife dropped it off this morning only to be called 30 minutes later to say that the brakes did not need replacing infact they had 6 - 9 months still on them and they felt it would be wrong to replace them. Pentagon please dont try to justify your pricing structure due to that you use superior parts, the issue here which you failed acknowledge in your response is that on numerous occasion you have quoted for work that according to other garages did not need doing, that to me is unethical. Once my service contact is up i will take my business elsewhere. And will never use tham again. ;

Absolute disgrace of a branch! Don't go here unless you want loads of trouble after! Part-exed our car in for a used car. Was told the car was definitely going to scrap...two months later we see the car driving round!!! Then the next week we receive two speeding fines for the old car after we signed the car over to Pentagon! FURIOUS! Customer service is poor and staff speak to you like you are dirt. Look out for Chris the used sales Manager...he is hateful and treat like something he found on his shoe! Lee on used sales is also an absolute idiot and will not complete the sales process fully. Be Warned!!!

I booked my car in the bodyshop, they told me (over the phone) 9th Of Aug was the say they could do it. So dropped my car off, they then said at the desk it will be weekend (3days) so I said OK and left, rang them on the 10th and asked when it would be done and they said not until the end of next week! I said I would need my car and can I pick it up and arrange to drop it on a day they would do it, the person on the phone said she would talk to her manager and call me back. That was 4 hours ago and now they are closed. So don't even know what they're doing. All that needs doing is a new bumper to be sprayed and old bumper to be taken off and replaced with new, I all ready have someone else waiting to do it over the weekend if they cannot supply the service at the derby bodyshop they say they will. BUYING FROM THEM I also bought the car from pentagon derby and salesman used a different finance company than he said in the first place and called me to say all this would do is be £6 a month extra, my invoice has scratch cover (£500 extra) on it, which I asked for and this was the invoice I got when receiving the car, when I had someone open there door into mine I asked them to fix this (very small scratch) they said I don't have it I said yes I do and the manager then printed another invoice that didn't have this, and said this is want you got (points to dull paint to cover) I said I didn't ask for that, went home and found the original invoice which says scratch cover went back and shown him, he them says yeah we had to change the finance company, so I said so? He then said I should have been told, I then told him I was told they would use another finance company but the invoice still says scratch cover, then said they would do it this time but not again, I then explained if I go to dominos and ask for a meat feast and get a receipt for a meat feast I don't want a bloody cheese and tomato! And this was their error not mine!

First time buying a new car in over 10 years. I never felt any pressure and the guys were extremely helpful, especially Dan Cawar who was an absolute legend and all round gentleman. I'd also like to thank his colleague Jack, who was hands down a spot on guy. The whole process was very relaxed and never once pushy or irritating, which put's a lot of people off. The typical 'car salesman' frighten and annoy people. So yes, thanks guys. Thanks for an enjoyable and easy experience in coming to collect my zafira. I sent an enquiry abouy the car i ended up purchasing and i heard back within 15 munites. And the next day had a call of the salesman called ken who gave me excellent service. He found me a great finance deal and gave me plenty of options and all the information i needed. He picked me up from the train station and was waiting outside as i walked out if the station. And once all the paperwork esc was sorted he also drove me to the local post office to tax my new vehicle. Thanks ken for the excellent service. My new car was spotless and could'nt fault anything. Took my less than a year old Corsa in for some odd ticking engine sounds that had developed in the last couple of days. Reviewed my dashcam footage and the mechanic was just playing Planet Rock loudly the whole time. Not sure how he was supposed to hear anything with the radio playing! Obviously the guy wasn't actually interested in the issue. Update: The other fix that they actually did was back to how it was about 3 hours later... Got a call from the service manager, and he wasn't much help either. Told me to bring it back in which is fine but I explained that I took the day off work to bring it in the first place. Didn't seem interested in going out of his way to help.
