Brilliant experience! I am extremely happy with my experience with the team at Pentagon Derby. My previous car was bought from Pentagon Nottingham but sadly it was a write off due to an accident - The team at Pentagon Derby were very helpful with giving me information & details regarding new finance and how it works. I was very impressed with the service of both Ken Gidda and Dave (the manager?). They were both very helpful and went the extra mile. Sadly there was a dent in the car and scratch which I believe happened after looking at the car initially (when I went to pick it up), but they quickly apologized and got the car booked in for the body shop free of charge, as well as threw in some extras! Something I really appreciated. Thanks to both Ken and Dave for being extremely helpful and understanding!

Very poor customer service, I have always been happy using Vauxhall Pentagon in Derby until now. Tried to buy a car, paid the deposit but had to change my mind within a few hours, they refused to refund the £300 deposit paid. I will never do business with them again. Not once did they tell me that the deposit was non refundable. Dreadful experience.

Only seemed interested if I was taking finance. Told by one of the guys there I won't get more than £4k for my car, in hope of me borrowing more! Went elsewhere sorry, I don't like that kind of pressure. Available Car offered me £4900. Always worth looking around!

I bought a secondhand Zafira of which i am very satisfied with. It developed a fault, something draining the battery, after replacing the battery, fault was still there, took it into service on two occasions and asked them also to reprogram the computer so that daylight driving lights would remain on. The service department couldn't reprogram the computer, couldn't find the fault and sold me a very expensive battery. I returned back to Germany where I work and the fault was still there. I took it into the opel dealer who reprogrammed the computer, found that the glove compartment door had not been refitted correctly after the last service, (done by pentagon Derby) and the light continually on. I also noticed two minor dents on the bonnet which appeared after the first service, looks like someone had closed the bonnet with equipment still inside, can't prove it but they are definitely not stone chips. The service department are in my opinion a collection of incompetent, quick talking, fob off merchants. Never again.

Well me and my partner where on the look out for a new used car and here we found a no pushy very helpful all questioned asked where answered approach, Shaun Chamberlain was brilliant from start to finish! Even after we brought the car Shaun was happy to answer questions I had even after the sale date! After we found the car we liked and was approved Shaun gave me the price for hire purchase with the finance company that approved me and though a little higher than I first expected a few days later Shaun Managed to get us a deal which made a saving difference of 480 per year saving which made myself and my partner feel that they weren’t just after a sale but really cared about giving us the best price available! Our car was processed and upon collection was immaculately presented! A small bit of damage I noticed before purchasing was fixed to such a high standard I would of believed that no damage was ever there! And tho I hope for many years to enjoy our new used car and no rush to change when that date does come Vauxhall pentagon will be our first place to call! Thank you Shaun!

One day my car would not start which was very shocking as the car is 2 years old. I rang Vauxhall to get it fixed as I still have warranty on it. I was told I had to get the car to them myself. None offered any advice or alternatives to help with this task. I was in desperate need of a hire car I was working that night, asked about a hire car, but was told no. Once I got the car to Vauxhall I received poor customer service. I was very upset and angry about the situation. The staff did not seem to care or try to understand my situation as I need my car for work. Not even smile. When you spend that kind of money I expect much better service. Asked about a hire car and got the same answer. I thought Vauxhall went above or beyond for the customers turns out how wrong I was. After 3 days the car was fixed. Went to pick it up. I knew the car was dirty, so I thought they might wash it, do something extra for the customer. I could not be more wrong. My experience was awful. They did not care and took shortcuts at every turn. My friends, family and I will not be using Vauxhall again. You only get one chance to make a first impression and Vauxhall you blew it.

First service on my 4th car via Vauxhall First time disappointed got there told 4 hours so first suprise day not mine got boar so went back 1 hour in the hope would be early sat there for 1 hour and 20 minutes no drinks offers no update so asked if could have an update told would look into it 35 minutes later told ready no apology for the delay. A bad experience, I enquired about a peugeot 3008 the receptionist was fine enough and passed my details to the motability team. I spoke to a person (Very rude) stated that he will get back to me with some infomation which he never did. (I even email the receptionist to chase the motabiliy guy did not get a response) I eventually went to another dealership and got the car with no issues whatsoever Paul Oke

Dave was lovely, from the time I walked through the door till the time we shook hands at the end of purchase. He showed me around the cars I had seen on the website and we went for a test drive. Dave went through all the payment options with me, valued my car as part exchange and did all the paperwork. I am very much a technaphobe, I haven't a clue about iPhones and blue tooth so Dave patiently went through it all step by step while sat in the new car until I had a fair idea how it all worked, he even put all my favourite albums on my mobile phone so I could plug in and go. Dave is an asset to pentagon. I would highly recommend a visit and have a chat with Dave if you're looking for a new car, he is very patient, polite and friendly. I hope my new car will be a long term purchase.

Purchased a year old vehicle from Pentagon Vauxhall with only 8000miles. In just 2 month and only covering just under 2000 miles I had a warning light on dashboard for service transmission and vehicle going into reduced power mode. Booked in for the dealer to have a look and they have told me it’s a clutch pedal sensor being too sensitive and reset values with no apparent fault. Called me to say vehicle is ready for collection. As I drove away the fault came back. So I booked it back for them to have a look again. This time they tried blaming me for riding the clutch and using the clutch pedal as a rest for my foot, which I found that very insulting. Previously having a manual car and covering 90,000miles myself without any issues with clutch I knew it wasn’t down to my driving style which this dealer tried to blame me for. 4 months down the line the clutch started slipping and was not drive-able above 30mph. Decided to book to a different dealer which they were more than happy to investigate this issue. Received a call within the same day the car was booked in to another dealer saying the clutch has failed and will be replaced under warranty with no hassle. Was not pleased that I had to take my car into another dealership in different city rather than my local dealer Vauxhall Pentagon Derby for my car to be repaired. Which clearly was not my fault if the work has been done under warranty. Very unpleasant experience with Derby Vauxhall and will never take my car to them and definitely will not be recommending anyone to them.

Nice car let down by poor aftersales. Do not return calls, have to chase yourself. V5 name misspelt even though this was pointed out and noted at time of sale. Spare key didn't work when collecting car. Was told they would replace battery and post to us. Had to chase this ourselves. On receipt, still didn't work. Found battery hadn't been changed as old one was crystallised. New battery sorted it. What a shame!

Bought a Vauxhall Corsa from Motorpoint, after a couple of days, found that the air con/ heating dial wasn't turning to all settings. Got in touch with Motorpoint, who told me to take it to Vauxhall, as it still has 23 months warranty. Did this today, Vauxhall fixed it with no qualms and no cost. Also did a free health check on the car. Great customer service.

Been here for servicing and MOTs for the last 3 years and will continue to do so. The works have always been done on time and the staff are very helpful and friendly and keep you informed of any updates as and when they happen. There are sometimes delays during peak times but nothing that isn’t expected from a place this size.

So unfortunately pentagon prey strike again ! This branch is renowned for ripping off young and vulnerable female first time drivers . Mis selling goods and services on faulty and unsafe vehicles . If you try hard enough you can find and speak to these young ladies and every time the story is the same , poor customer service along with intimidating behaviour and their telephone manner is absolutely gut wrenching to hear, especially as a parent to a very young daughter and a step parent to an adult daughter who in question is being expected to drive around in a vehicle that if involved in even a minor crash will almost certainly kill her rather than give her the basic safety protection measures which have been installed in vehicles for this exact reason ! . DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS HERE TO BUY A CAR , ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE YOUNG FIRST TIME FEMALE BUYERS .

On my arrival, I found the front entrance to the showroom, I was met with a flight of staircase which I believe would be a great challenge to any would be wheelchair bound persons. This entrance is not wheelchair access friendly and not complaint with regulations for wheelchair users or persons with disabilities. That said, unless there is another entrance I did not see which is wheelchair friendly then this dealership is not an ideal site for wheelchair users and or disabled persons. That said, I met with a professional front desk receptionist with a warm smile and attitude.

After the sale was done my agent was hard to get hold of when I had extra questions and still hasn't replied to my emails from a couple of weeks ago, which is a bit disappointing. I purchased a car from Pentagon Derby, through their website. I was looking for a used Vauxhall Crossland Elite Nav with reversing camera- despite several searches on numerous sites Pentagon Derby were the only company who had one in their portfolio. I contacted them and initially we had intended to travel down to Derby to look at the car. However the service I got was amazing - they offered me an acceptable price for my 2 year old trade-in, sight unseen - and offered to deliver the car to me for free. The car duly arrived as arranged and my car was taken away - a very nice gentleman did the changeover The price I paid was good and in fact, I was delighted with the full purchase process - seamless. I never expected to be able to buy a car without inspecting it but I had the benefit of the Vauxhall Network Q guarantee and Pentagon professionalism infused me with confidence. A great company I would heartily recommend.
