Everyone at the dealership was very welcoming and approachable and explained everything thoroughly. Although I did not purchase a car at the time, I would not hesitate in choosing Pentagon when I do decide to buy my next car in the near future.

I had a service done recently and found the work carried out was of a high standard and the staff were helpful, however I'm not too pleased with the fact that you don't get a call if any other work needs to be carried out if you have given them your email address, although they do send you a video of the inspection which is informative but it would still be nice to get a call as an email can sometimes be missed. Overall though the experience was second to none and i would recommend them.

I had to deal with David Harvey regarding the exchange of a car for another. I got a very good offer and everything was explained to me very clearly by David. Compared to the arnold clark pentagon has a larger selection of cars and a better price. So anyone who wants to change a car, I recommend the Pentagon.

Ken Gidda from sales was really helpful. From when I brought the car to when i picked it up. Any questions i had he answered for me. I had a small problem with the car and i phoned Ken up and he sorted this for me. He met me and took me to the service department. They got my car in and fixed the problem within a hour. I am really happy with my car, how i was treated and the follow ups since i have brought the car. Thank you

We'd been looking for anew car for a while and thought we'd have a look at Pentagon. We are not hugely into cars and it can often be a painful experience as Salesmen take great efforts outlining features you don't care about. Anyway we wandered in saw Mark ,went for a test drive , bought car ,arranged pick up. painless.We have previously bought from other Vauxhall Dealers in the county and the difference in the level of service is staggering. Well done Mark your a credit to Pentagon . I normally hesitate before recommending anyone as service can be so variable, however I would have no hesitation in Recommending Pentagon so positive was our experience.

Good staff, great parts department, great selection of cars and very helpful, only minor quibble (as with all main dealers) is the price of getting any work done there, particularly if you take your car for MOT there and they suddenly find that you need new wipers when they've got you by the balls so you either pay a premium or fail your MOT. This is nothing new, and wherever possible you should avoid using a main deal for MOT, unless it affects your warranty or you know your car will 100% pass, i.e. they've just sold it you....(check out Allan's Test Centre on Shaftsbury Street in Derby, council run, no messing!)

Over the years i have bought all my 5 new vans from Pentagon Derby with Tom and the team. I had a problem that my local dealer could not correct so Pentagon Derby took over as i live in Norwich and what customer service i recieved from van manager Ash, he took over the problem ,personaly picking up the van some 160 miles away and said it would be resolved and he did everything in his teams powers to resovle the fault and he did with no fuss .becuase of this I have bought my new combo long wheel base van ,what a van ,the best one yet. So please use Pentagon ,Derby I know they are the very best dealer on price ,un believable customer serice . I have tried the rest now only use the BEST .

I'm with Pentagon Derby for over last 5yrs and unfortunately don't have good experience. The only nice time was (as other people says) when I was collecting my brand new astra. From that point after sale & service is very poor. 1. MOTs - while driving to Derby I've heard on the radio that Vauxhall runs 50% mot and I can find more details on official Vauxhall website. Arrived to Derby where I have been charged full price for MOT. Refund has been sorted only when I have shown an offer on the website to the service advisor 2. Annual service vs breaks pads. December 2018 rear breaks marked as 8mm/green. 6mnth later I have booked car for check because breaks were making a noise (after 3000 miles). Diagnose? Breaks needs to be replaced because showing 3mm! Recording to Service Advisor these measures are taken just as a guideness (what is the point to take them in the first place and why the health check video sent to the customer includes it). I have escalated this to Customer Service I asked them the same question: How after 3000 miles breaks can go down from green to red? 3. Alternative service vs emergency. One day I had a flat tyre. I leave roughly 40miles to Derby and one day got flat tyre. With low trust to the garages (mainly because car is still under 100k warranty) I decided call a local Arnold Clarks... They told me that the first available date it's in two weeks time (joke!) 4. Health Check - videos which customer is receiving while car is going under this check are from year to another year and covers less and less. Last video for example had an absolutely nothing about suspension. 5. Break fluid change - December 2018. I have been informed by Service Advisor that break fluid is not a part of service plan (joke!) and is recommended to have it replaced every 2 yrs . Like as mentioned above I'm owing this car over 5yrs now and always was serviced by Pentagon Derby. None of the service advisors has mentioned this in one of the previous service visits. 6. Sales department (Dec 2018), came in and asked for 7seater car. Sales advisor didn't want accept the fact that I need 7 seats and was trying to convince me that 5 seater Crosslander will be an optimal choice fof me (joke!). In addition to this topic... Vauxhall seems to be behind the rivals and their hybrid MVP options. With not being a big fan of french cars it makes me think how much impact will PSA Group have on Vauxhall reliability. Update 19/02/2019 Booked my car in @Derby again. Drove roughly 20min with mechanic to re-create the problem. Diagnose:sticky rear breakes. Quick check by Service team to see when my rear breaks have been replaced (Dec 2017/ 10k miles ago). No time off from work so a bit of time pressure. Breakes stripped down (inlc. caliper) and sprayed. Car ready for collection after 2 hrs. Driving back to work, all nice and quiet until I got to the work carpark where squealling noise appeared again !!! Called Derby to just make them aware and highlighted that this was my 4th visit now for the same thing over last two years. The whole thing it's an absolutely joke. Today I did 100 miles to make this trip to Derby and come back to work. I just cannot keep wasting my time over and over again. Update December 2019 MOT failed on the fog lamp giving an incorrect colour. Under pressure of time I didn't think at that point about the price and when been asked to pay £140 I have just paid. On way back I couldn't stop thinking how come I paid this £140 (yes, one of them things where you don't click straight away). Got back home and called Derby on the next working day. Unfortunately even I called Derby service 4 times , none of the advisors was able to explain me what was wrong with the lamp. The best two of the few reasons were: a. previous owner must modified the lamp (but I'm the first owner!) b. the lamp was loose (what!? 2013 car) Finally there was no chance was actually lamp replaced. I have a feeling that I have been ripped off

purchased 2 year old nissan navara .when replacing rear light the front bumper was ripped off in the workshop.finally got the vehicle 4/5 weeks later.rear light was illegle,had white light instead of fog light.front bumper was red all over instead of red and matt black.daylight running bulb was smashed.went back for repair,rang up to remind them about front light,still did not replace it ,had to do it myself cost 1hr and £26 for special bulb.3 months later ,no v5 deliverd rang 3 times in 14 days no help,so rang dvla. two lines of my adress had been missed out by pentagon.i have to write a letter to the dvla explaining what has happend plus form and £25 charge.never had so many things go wrong at a dealership.i will never take the truck back .

Booked car in for an MOT. Happy to drop you off whilst they carry out the services, but have not collection service, leaving you pretty much stranded had some simple work done only to find the car pulls to the right horrendously upon pickup. now have to book my car back in and go through the whole process again.

Every time I've used Pentagon at Derby they give you quite you a time to collect. But pull the technician off for another job half way through so I've ended up having to collect my van the next day. Won't be using this vauxhall branch again.

I am not a fan of Dealerships but Pentagon Derby have done alright by me this time. I was involved in an incident recently in my Clio where a car ran into the passenger side. My wife was sat there and it had put her off small cars so we were out looking for something bigger. After several garage forecourts we found ourselves at Pentagon Derby. We were looking round the lot and were approached by a Salesman. We told him our story and he suggested we look at the Meriva. Unfortunately there was not one available but inside he said there was one in their Doncaster branch. We booked a test drive and a few days we did. I had a specific budget in mind but this car was more but because of the low mileage I accepted. Now comes the “interesting” part, there were extras like fuel, charitable donation, Pentagon assurance upgrade and of course the dreaded Road Tax which pushed the cost even more over budget. However, when all is said and done, the Salesman was pleasant, knowledgeable and I got a good car within a few days.

Needed to change my insignia manual to a auto.Have driven past Pentagon many times and decided to go and have a look.Have a great selection of used cars and easy access and parking,had already decided on the mokka but needed a auto.Sales staff were very friendly and certainly did not not push me to buy a car.Took a Mokka 1.4turbo for a test drive and was very impressed car was very clean and well presented again no sales talk when on test drive.I had a budget to work with and decided to purchase was told about extra warranty and other after sales purchases which was offered at a good value.The purchase part exchange and finance was all done with ease couldn't have been easier.Collection date was brought forward as all things were completed earlier and collection was smooth vehicle looked excellent and really pleased so far.Would recommend Pentagon Derby,really professional no pressure and would definitely return when time comes to change again.

I would have done this earlier if i found out you was on google review. my cousin and I were trading in an old company fleet car for a new model Corsa and the Pentagon member of staff who greeted us was rude, arrogant and smarmy talking down to us. i will suggest there is a corrupt behaviour that happens where you are instructed to give a new vehicle replacing the old one in a worse condition! Lights not working, tyres running on low pressure, no spare wheel, radio infotainment faulty, virtually no diesel fuel in the tank for more than 5 miles drive before light comes on. When we pointed these out to the pentagon man, he laughed and said we can leave the new car and take the old one away and come back another day which wasn't ideal for our work. This was 2017 and i know you still operate badly.
