I recently purchased an office chair after sitting on the floor demo model for a while. Got home, assembled the chair and the chair felt so different. The seat was sagging so much that I was basically sitting in chair's hardware. I took it apart, put it back in the box and returned it to the store. I thought maybe this model is a bad design so I looked for another model, this one from Serta, very comfortable but $100 more. I get it home, assemble it, sit on it for a few hours next morning to take a few video calls. My back started to hurt and my head was spinning. When I carefully looked at the chair, the seat was not straight, was probably on 10-15 degrees off horizontal. Also the back cushion was asymmetrical, the left side being about 2-3cm thicker. I called support line and they offered to ship to me new base plate and back cushion, only it will be 6-8 weeks before I get them.
Both chair were made in china and had passed quality control.

The service is good but an employee named Natasha is quite rude. She seemed to be biased towards people with color. I suggest for management to talk to that employee. It's been awhile that I haven't visited this place in Marine Drive because of COVID, I don't want to engage her in an argument. Best for me to keep quiet and make a peaceful gesture of "not to patronize Staples". I go to another store across the street or in Michael's where the service is courteous and respectful.

I came to the store needing my Will printed out. I am awaiting surgery and required help. Parm helped me with such professionalism, she was courteous and engaging, as a Customer service representative. When I needed to return a week later, an item I had bought by mistake, she handled the matter with ease and a wonderful smile! I would return again for any of my office needs.

Poor Management - Great Frontline Staff
DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY PLANS
Most of the staff here are very helpful, service driven and committed, however that is not a reflection of the management.
The store manager Kelly and new manager Mohammed are essentially useless when it comes to customer service. Kelly spends her days stocking shelves and Mohamed has joined the club of not responding to customer issues. Once you walk out that store, they will not provide the same service their smiling associates try too. In fact, they feel they have no obligation to their customers after the sale is completed.
Why buy from staples when there are many other suppliers that provide equal or better products for a fraction of the price?
If you do end up buying an electronic from here, do not buy their extended warranty plan. They will not bring you peace of mind. Instead consider buying the warranty directly from the manufacturer for less cost and better coverage. HP Warranty was not only cheaper, it was longer and provided coverage for accidental physical damage with 3 day service. Staple Canada carries is own warranty program so they make every effort to limit repairs and coverage, supplemented by very poor attitudes and disrespectful behaviour.

I have had such a great experience there, I was shopping and I needed to get something for my daughter without her seeing it. So I asked one of their staff if he could put the item at the front for me and explained it was a surprise for my daughter whos with me and didn't want her to see. He went beyond the measure of customer service and actually put it in a box sealed up and everything and gave the price to the cashier and my daughter never new I had just bought her her birthday gift. I unfortunately didn't get this gentlemen's name but I will never forget this awesome service! Thank you friendly employee at Staples on Marine way!

Probably the most run down and terrible Staples I've been to! None of their self serve machines were working, that I was trying to use and only one person working in the department (no chance to get any help)
I'll stick to going to the ones in Richmond. Much better service and products.

In June 2020, and since, I've been dealing with this store, and other locations in Vancouver (Broadway, Grandview Highway). They are prompt, courteous, and helpful. There are stock problems because of Covid, but where are there not, these days? And staff are always quick to offer alternatives when something I need is out-of-stock. Clean, bright store, tucked away right at the far-east end of the parking lot on the north side of the 2 complexes. Worth finding! Their attention to Covid-sanitation detail is noteworthy. Good prices, too!

I placed an order on Staples web page on the 28 June 2020 with expected delivery by UPS on 30 June 2020. But I did not receive any items and UPS said they do not have the tracking number from Staples. I followed up twice with Staples and to my fury, they extended the delivery date to 7 July 2020. Finally today I called again and the supervisor said they extended delivery as item is out of stock. This is the worst service from Staples ever. Please watch out before you order online with Staples. It is a harassment!

I have very limited computer knowledge and generally avoid computer stores because staff usually speak in terms I don't understand. My computer at this point needs replacing and Jordan L. was excellent. She listened to what I need in a computer and clearly explained what the different products could do. I didn't buy tonight because I'm not sure if a laptop or desktop is the better option for me.

We have been shopping here for office supplies for years. Today just just like any other day , The store was extremely busy probably because of back to school and the service from all the staff was still very attentive and professional and I wanted to point out that Kevin was managing and looked after me despite the fact that he was clearly busy multitasking with several other managerial duties .
We shop at the store mainly for convenience but would definitely go out of her way to shop here because of the staff and management.

I have visited this place mainly to take printouts. One star removed because depending on the time of the day and the location of the stars / planets - the print out may or may not come out as expected. The print preview and the final printout never tallies. You are also bound to come across employees who are more keen on gossiping with each other than helping the customers out.

Every thing is well organized. Prices are appropriate. I couldnt find any staff and I noticed they were all huddled by the printing area. That doesnt bother me, but I had 4 different customers asking me for help and if I worked there and I wasnt even wearing the same colors as the staff. So not sure what's up with that. But overall good store good experience

The store is well-organized and its easy to find everything. I found some very affordable deals on stationary products.
The staff are generally helpful and positive. Great service to help me find everything I needed.
It's a little far into the parking lot but lots of parking spaces.
They even had stamps and greeting cards for my clients.
This is one happy customer.
