Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good selection of stationary as well as tech items. It's by the very far end of the Big Bend plaza so it's not usually busy.

Unable to find printer ink that with paper and envelopes included I said "it is a waste of money for me to buy cards and paper won't use." Chris - an employee said "that's no problem, you can buy it and then give the envelops and cards to me - I can definitely use them." I said, wait a minute, "You want me to buy something - and then GIVE you part of it?!?!?" He said, "Well, sure, your not going to use it." I was flabbergasted at his solution. I asked his name - then asked another cashier if I could speak to the manager. Chris beat me to it - obviously covering his butt with the manager. So Webit the manager, came and when I explained he said "Chris was just joking." I said, what - "now you are taking the side of your employee and telling me I am wrong to react? I can't believe this. An argument ensued between me and the manager, during which he continued to support his employees side, and trivialize me - the Customer. BACK TO SCHOOL FOR BOTH OF YOU BOYS! There was no respect at all here for the customer.

I use the copy and print services frequently but lately there customer service has been awful.
The last time I wanted a poster laminated, first she said they couldn't do it. Then she asked another employee who told her how to do it. She then gave me all of the wrong information regarding how long it would take and when it would be ready. Another employee called me that evening to give me the correct information. When I came back to pick it up the same woman was at the counter. She then insisted that I hadn't prepaid and I had to find my receipt to prove my purchase.

My go-to staples mainly because of the location but they are always in stock with things and the staff are kind and friendly. I ordered some business cards and they were of superior quality, very nice and much cheaper than Madill.

In reference only to the Hours of Opening for holidays - e.g. BC DAY, it does not state the actual time, says "holiday hours" on one site. In fact, the staples.ca store locator says it is open at 9AM, which it is not.

The printing department is very helpful. You can now print yourself from USB, bluetooth or google drive on a few machines for 10-12cents. It's not a busy store, so I generally find I can get in and out right away.

The store has everything you want and the locations is good but the staff....
They give you too much information and they won't let you walk around and check the stuff, its not comfortable to for a cusomer to shop with an assistance who comes with him all around the store and the cashier was so rude. If someone doesn't want to get additional warranty, they shouldn't force people to get them and when you don't get the warranty, they dont give you respect. So if you want some respect, buy whatever they tell you.

Nice, clean, quiet store with not so many customer at the time I went in. I was inquiring questions about the iPads on display + on sale ones. The guy pointed at an iPad Air, told me it’s an iPad Pro; pointed at iPad Pro 10.5” told me it’s iPad Pro 9.7”. The employees here are not highly trained to understand their own product lol. Please provide more training to your employees, Staples!

It's one thing to be pay more, which you surely do on almost everything, it's another to pay more, and when I want to make a simply inquiry as to whether they have the monitor I want in stock, to be completely ignored (not even a "please wait a moment,") for 10 minutes while not one but three people stare at a computer screen at the tech desk. Ridiculous. I could have been invisible. I walked out, and this Staples is not getting any more of my business
