Despite a longish wait, the Summer healthcheck offer was really good value. The staff, as always, were very efficient and helpful. My only comment would be that the wash and vac could be improved.

Adam Cox is brilliant.
My wife and I were wanting to purchase a Karoq and we'd looked around a fair bit and came across one here at Lister.
Since the initial phone call with Adam he has been extremely helpful.
We live in london and so we didn't want to drive all the way up to Coventry if we weren't entirely sure about the car.
Adam was great at answering all our question over email. He sent over hpi check reports and the 111 point skoda check via email.
On the day we went to test drive the car we were late by over an hour but Adam was not rushing us at all. He actually stayed over his time and at no point did he force us into buying the car.
He even offered us a refund on our deposit as he could see we were a bit unsure of the car.
In the end we decided to purchase the vehicle.
The service by Adam has been second to none and since we have had the car he still happily answers my questions over email.
An asset to Skoda and definitley a sales man that should train other, not so great, salesmen.
Most Skoda retailers I visited In London were either pushy or not bothered in providing that service.
Strongly recommend this branch and I'll be recommending my family and friends.

Picked up the car from my house around 10am and returned it early afternoon. Did a good job on the service side. I also asked sales to value the car make me an offer of a new replacement but no one has contacted me, and I have phoned. So bad marks for sales, good marks for service.

Booked the service at least 2 weeks in advance so I could get a courtesy car, only to find on arrival that the booking wasn't made! The courtesy car was. Anyway I left the car with them and drove off in their go-cart the CitoGo
Before I left I advised them of some software issues and a warranty issue regarding the parcel shelf
When I returned to collect the car, the technician said he couldn't find anything wrong with the car, and proceeded to show me how he tested the parcel shelf. My car has the "automatically Retractable" parcel shelf which is supposed to open when you open the tailgate... it doesn't, instead it unceremoniously dumps it into the loading area. I got the impression that the technician didn't even know this option existed, and when highlighting it to him he just said "OK" and then disappeared. A few days after I received a phone call from customer services and asked me if I was happy with the service I received, and when I said no... she soon wanted to quickly end the phone call.
Anyway, it wont be going back there, I will take it to one of the other Skoda main dealers probably in Leicester. My car is currently in Oxford at the main dealer I bought it from who when I told them of my plight, they couldn't have bene more helpful... They have driven up to me a courtesy car.. a Karoq and took mine away to get it fixed once and for all... a complete contrast from these people.
I have given a 3* because they don't deserve a 1*… you find with google reviews they are either 1* or 5* people that review are either really happy or angry

I thought these were good people to deal with. The Skoda product is great and they know and understand it deeply (in particular Paul Wilson, who I considered to be v. knowledgeable and fair, and who I found to be honest and trustworthy), they listened to me, and gave me some good car options without over-bearing sales patter. A good dealership, straight and honest with an approachable team I would say. Don't hesitate if you're in the market for Skoda.

Adam was very helpful and made a video of the car so that I could see it was in an immaculate condition and well worth the 62 mile drive to look at it. When we arrived the car was ready for us to test drive. Adam was very professional throughout and every aspect of the sale was clearly explained to me. I'm now a proud owner of a new Skoda, thanks to Jack, who managed to get hold of a very specific model, from a different dealer from London. It was a bit complicated to get it from there, but he managed it in the end. The car handover took a bit longer, but that's mainly due to some last minute adjustments. Now couple of days with the car, some issues came to light (because of the previous dealer in London), Jack is still a huge help post the purchase, making sure every issue is corrected. This is always a bit of a worry, what is the service like after you pay the money. In this case, I would say well above standard. I'm happy I have the car from them, and looking forward to keep the car maintained with them too. The only downside I can think of, is lack of parking spaces. But if you don't mind that (I really don't), I can only recommend Listers in Coventry (just next to M6, junction 3). Cheers, Frank

Went to have a summer service. The forecourt was busy but I found a parking space easily. The welcome was genuine and warm. While the service was taking place I was offered the chance to drive the new Fabia, which I took advantage of. When returning to the garage I was told my car was being valated and was offered a drink. Waiting area clean and clutter free. When car ready the transaction went smoothly having had the report explained to me. All in all a great experience.

Myself and my partner visited Skoda Coventry in search of a motability car and had an extremely warm welcome from everybody there and especially Jack Stubbs who went above and beyond any expectations!
He was extremely professional and yet so down to earth which made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable.
Once our car had arrived at the forecourt, Jack even volunteered to pick us up in his own car as we sold our current car, which would have saved us a lot of hassle and money.
Fantastic place to go to get a car and would highly recommend popping in to see Jack who will help you pick the perfect car.

Today I received I phone call from the Service Manager, Martin. He had seen my review and had wanted to speak regarding the issues I had raised. He was very apologetic in relation to my vehicle not being valeted but he was more concerned reference the comments I had overheard by one of his staff. He has assured me that this will be investigated and dealt with and as a gesture of good will he has agreed to complete the repair to my vehicle for free of charge. I cannot praise his response highly enough, it’s refreshing to see a company actually care about customer service and it’s reassuring to see someone willing to deal with an issue. As a result I have revised my review from 1 star to 3 stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW -
Just got back from collecting my VRs following its oil service. Now initially the service I received here was good, and it always has been when I’ve used them in the past but unfortunately today has been a let down. The first thing I will moan about is only a slight thing but as they say “it’s the small things that matter”. My car has been at this dealership all day having had a service, MOT and an inspection on an issue I’d reported. I’ve collected it and it hadn’t been cleaned. Now I know this may sound pretentious to some people but in all the years that I’ve had cars serviced at main dealerships the vehicle has always been returned having had a mini valet. So sorry but minus points for this.
The second and more serious matter is as follows? As it turns out my vehicle needed some repair work which was highlighted following its health check. It was only a minor repair but Skoda were quoting me £173.33, again I was happy with this albeit I had just spoke to another local reputable garage who quoted me £85 instead. To their credit The dealership had already agreed to a 10% due to me having the services and MOT done there. I asked if they could offer any more discount in light of the fact I could get the repair work carried out considerably cheaper elsewhere. The service assistant, Claire Mason I think her name was, who had been very helpful and credit to the dealership said she would go and ask her manager, Claire went away into a room and to speak to who I presume was her manager, they ere obviously unaware I could over hear this conversation as I heard Claire inform her manager that I had found somewhere that could do the repair for under £100. I then heard who I presume to be the manager reply by saying words to the effect of “oh has he now, well tell him to jog “OH HAS HE NOW, WELL TELL HIM TO JOG ON!”. I am not the confrontational type so I said nothing however I will now be taking my business elsewhere having using this dealership for a number of years for both my wife’s and my sodas. Great cars, poor and rude management! AVOID.

Probably the best car experience where we were unable to find a car.
My family and I were looking to buy a car so stopped by Skoda in Exhall. When I went in and talked to Phil, he was extremely friendly and professional. I told him what we were after and he kept updating us over the course of a month about stock that was coming in and even made several personalized videos with the car and its features. Because of the timing of our car situation, we were unable to find one that met our needs.
Michael, one of the managers, also tried very hard for our budget and needs. Between the two of them, I could not fault one thing about their service and effort.
The sad part is, that due to our timing and no stock for what we were after at the time, we were unable to purchase a car from Skoda. Although we have found another car now, if their professionalism and service continues, when it's time to switch cars again in a few years, Skoda will be one place I will definitely be keeping my eye out for and recommending to others.
