The centre manager was well knowledgeable and friendly. I went in for brake test and he went the extra mile to diagnose other areas of the car. He explained what I also needed to change and when. His assistant was also helpful in explaining things. I will definitely go back again as they know what they are talking about and they don't pressure you into anything rather leave you well informed to make the right repair decisions at the right time. Thank you Mr Dipak and crew.

I have used this autocentre for two years now and the service has always been exemplary from start to finish. The centre is very popular in the local area due to it's great reputation but Sean and his team always go above and beyond to fit the car in and provide a reliable service, whether that be an MOT or service. Previous to using this centre, I had an issue in the car that other garages were unable to locate or fix. However Sean was more than happy to take time to recognise and fix the issue and I am really grateful.

First time using Halfords services, unfortunately won’t be using again ever. An absolute rip off & the company wants to charge silly prices just to tighten nuts & bolts or just to even do a diagnostic on the car. Only reason I used them was as the private garage I use didn’t have a lot available in the coming days, private owned garages will actually look to build a customer base & not rip you off.

Deepak (assistant manager) was very friendly and approachable from day one.
I took a set of brand new expensive alloys to have some tyres fitted and the team looked after my wheels as I left them there for a couple of hours.
I took them over a day early but the team sorted them out with a couple of hours despite being fully booked. I was worried about leaving a set of brand new alloys with a garage I have never used before but much to my delight they were very careful with the alloys. The icing on the cake was they were passionate about the car they were going to be fitted on so took a keen interest in making sure all went well.
I will certainly be using them again. Top service and keep the good work. No wander you are so busy at times!

Taking my ancient car into a garage is always a slightly unnerving journey into the unknown so I was delighted with the exceptional customer service I received at the Halfords Autocentre on Tigers Way recently - the team there were so friendly, helpful, thorough and, most importantly, kind!
I took my car in for an MOT and service and they kept me updated throughout the day and explained everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms. I'll definitely be going again!

Booked a free brake check and brake fluid change.
Was told that the rear pads are getting low but don’t need changing yet.
Later on I could still hear a squeak from my brakes. Took it to another garage and they showed me that the rear drivers side brake pad was rubbing on the wear indicator. (2mm) left on the pad.
I know the brake check is free but surely it should be done properly.
Been a big fan of Halfords for years but this has really thrown me off.

There was one chubby white guy a the desk very helpful in getting me to understand the paperwork for a service but the older indian fellow was ver condescending and when i asked for a paper copy of my service he said its in the car, once i go down to the car theres nothing in their i go back and ask for it again and then acts oblivious about the first time and gives me a copy.

We booked our car in today for 2 rear tyres, paying over £200 on line. Halfords phoned at 1.30 asking if we could get there earlier. We arrived at 2pm and were told it would be 40 minutes. We went back almost an hour later and work hadn't started. The fitter left our car to sort out another 'priority' vehicle and eventually completed our tyres at 3.40. No vouchers either attached to emailed invoice following the purchase of 2 Bridgestone tyres. Won't go back

Thought I'd give halfords ago instead of usual place and had Mot and Major service.Service was very good ???? and friendly and as my husband dropped car off and picked they had a laugh as my husband had to wear my pink face mask as forgot his and my key fob is a tigger! Hubby said its the wifes????????they answered no need to explain sir! Brilliant ????! Definitely using again ! Thanks guys!

Only real issues I had we're finding somewhere to park and having no specific time slot.booking online you just get a 9:30 or 11:30 dropoff.
Dispute being incredibly busy on the Saturday when I took my car in for wheel alignment staff were very friendly and professional.moving cars to make space and advising that phoning would get a more specific time.

Booked an MOT and service they were very happy to perform both in a timely manner and did just that. They were helpful an upfront about the advice given and I didn't feel like I was being undermined despite not being very good with cars. They were patient and helped where they could.
The only gripe I have, an I sincerely believe it was accidental, when closing the glovebox of my car after the service or MOT checks I think they didn't realize that the case in which I had my the tools for the wheels/car in, must have got caught and broke.
I only found this out when I got home but I don't think the team realized it had happened.
Not to take away from the garage but just be a bit more careful please. Would definitely recommend to friend.

I went in yesterday to replace all 4 tyres and have front wheel alignment. Firstly, despite giving me a specified drop off time, they took over 2 hours to complete the job which was highly inconvenient. But more shocking is that they managed to scratch my front bumper and are refusing to take any responsibility for it. They are actually making up lies that the scratch was seen by the invisible manager when I arrived? and that they have photos of the car which they refuse to show me. I am deeply upset and shocked that a big company like Halfords should resort to this kind of behaviour. AVOID Halfords Auto Centre at Tigers Way Leicester at all costs. Unprofessional and uncaring.

Absolutely terrible. Paid online up front for front wheel alignment, provided my reg number and make/model confirmed. Arrived at appointed time and store was rammed with customers and I was told that they couldn’t do it. I demanded an immediate refund and was refused, they said I’d have to wait. Don’t think I’ll be using Halfords ever again.

Big company Halfords. not good service last week i did call Halfords in Leicester Tigers way. to check my vw golf wiring i told them the engine is ok only same thing wrong with wiring the car keep cut off they told me we will check it for you and it will cast you £49.99 and they booked appointment for today 30/09/20 in the morning i want there i gave my key i told them what is the problem again . The car keep cutting off while i drive it. i said please can you check wiring not engine they said ok we will check it for you come back later . After 5pm i want there. They said we have check the engine not wiring and there was nothing wrong with engine it cast me £49.99 for nothing
