Awful after sales service, I have now been without my shower (which was only fitted at end of 2018) for 3 weeks, and trying to get a response from the 'right person' in the technical team is a challenge. Apparently they are inundated (well that reassures me that they provide quality products, if their tech support is too busy to come back to me) I will take full responsibility for the fact that I clearly missed registering the shower during our building works, although frustrating, as I do not see how me registering it it will make any difference to the fact it failed. So I sought professional advice , who advised as a premium product then I should at least have cover under my consumer rights for 6 years. After being ignored for several days then advised that basically my consumer rights don't apply, and being quoted a fee for a new part and installation, I reluctantly agreed to pay, and now I feel like I am being ignored. Several e-mails and calls later, and I am still without a shower, have no date for a new part or an install. I am tearing my hair out! I can't even get a response on their complaints procedure or who I can escalate this to. I hate leaving reviews like this, however I have tried, and have about 20+ e-mails to show for it. I will NEVER buy their products again.

I agree with all the comments re the terrible technical after-sales service. I would never purchase a digital shower or bath equipment again and certainly not from Crosswater. Our digital shower stopped working last year and it took 2 weeks to get it repaired. In that time no shower. It has stopped again and it’s been 6 days with no progress. Nice quality stuff from Crosswater but definitely don’t buy Digital. If it stops working (which it has now several times over a 4 year period) you’re well and truly stuffed. The main problem is you can’t get an everyday reliable plumber to fix it and Crosswater obviously offer only a third rate repair and customer care service.

I spent £14k on Crosswater for 3 bathrooms and am pleased with the net result but i and very unhappy that they have a 41 day return policy and would not change two mirrors for larger ones. They expect you to install the equipment within 41 days without exception. They have this strict policy so i am stuck with two mirrors which i paid £600 for. I argued with them that this is a disgraceful way to treat someone that has just spent £14k but they just don't care. There is equally good stuff out there, so i would suggest anyone looking to consider who you are dealing with. I just hope that nothing goes wrong because I don't have the confidence that they will honour their guarantee. Update- I have just upgraded the stars from 1 to 4 because they have now finally exchanged the mirrors. I would definitely have given 5 had I not have had to go through all this nonsense as the bathrooms are quality

bought a shower that lasted only 6 weeks call centre does not respond to email and calls. They have said to check items on a list but still want to charge £300 to come out. Returning this item and going to aqualisa!

Went here to collect an order for work, it's easy to find and has a large carpark, the staff are always willing to help and I like going there, the only bad thing is trying to get back onto the M25 to go through the Dartford Tunnel as the road layout is terrible and you get stuck on the roundabout before you enter the motorway, it's a nightmare! You can sometimes be queuing for over an hour.

We deal a lot with Cross water through Phillips Bathrooms and we have always been very happy with their extensive range and their forward thinking, sometimes customer service take a little longer but with their very helpful Nottingham rep we have always been happy with the out come, and to be fair we get very little issues to say how much we deal with them. Always find them very supportive towards retailers with showrooms, and they appreciate those that display their products.

Extremely disappointed to have been hugely let down by your company delivering my brass bathroom fittings. Firstly delivered incorrectly, chrome and black not brass then constant promises of delivery now over 10 days late, and holding up the install of my bathroom. At almost 35 weeks pregnant and having no working bathroom it’s very stressful and uncomfortable. Can’t get a straight answer from anyone when I might actually get the items I ordered. Poor dishonest and selfish customer service. UPDATE: Having written in to Crosswater regarding my experience I have subsequently received two phone calls from the head of customer service and the owner of the company. They were both more than apologetic and upset by my experience and have done everything in their power to resolve the situation fully. They have actually gone over and above. Whilst my initial experience was very disappointing the manner and care they have taken to resolve the situation can not be faulted. Thank you Crosswater

Had a minor issue with a 2 year old chrome framed shower enclosure. After contacting Customer services and sending a few pictures, we were amazed to hear straight back and was told that the whole unit would be replaced and installed at our convenience even though the original installation had not been carried out by Crosswater/Simpsons. The work has now been carried out and was to an exceptionally high standard and to our total satisfaction. Thanks very much.

Flooded my house and are refusing to pay compensation. Crosswater provided a shower that malfunctioned two months after it was installed. They spent so long trying to fix the problem over the phone rather than send an engineer that it failed completely and flooded our house. They never call back or do what they say they’re going to and also supplied the wrong unit as a replacement twice. If you’ll Pardon the pun, they couldn’t run a bath. To cap it all have now refused to pay any compensation for inconvenience. Update: Yes you did offer a pathetic amount for "additional compensation for the inconvenience" but have now even withdrawn that offer!

Just had a terrible customer experience all due to the delivery arrangement. Didn't show up on the first day, and then again didn't show up the following day, and now saying that nothing they can do but I'll have to wait for another day of delivery. Two days have been wasted and the labour cost to my builders. Who is going to compensate my loss? This is not fair to me as a customer. Not a responsible company.

Fitted a faulty tap component, known for seizing up. After much chasing send an incorrect replacement part then stopped replying all together. Couldn't use the bath for months and months. Eventually had to order a replacement ourselves

Everyone has problems, it's how you fix them that matters. We had some corrosion on an enclosure within the warranty period. The initial response was to suggest all the things we probably did wrong which felt a little insurance company esk. However, after completing their claim form and sending photos, the two engineers visited a few weeks later, confirmed the situation and replaced it the same day. They must have a lot of claims that make them wary of faulty fitting, corrosive cleaners etc but genuine claims are honoured without question. Glad we bought their enclosure now!

Appalling customer care. Called 3 times and was given 3 different answers. One said order's on the way, another one said product out of warranty and I needed to pay, and the 3rd said to take a video of the leak before I could get the spare part. Rubbish. They are the most demoralised, incompetent technical team ever.

Don't expect any sort of reasonable aftersales service. After having a malfunctioning shower valve i even made the effort to drive to their Dartford HQ with the parts needed for repair. They didn't even recognise their own products and I left them with pictures and was told they would get back to me. Never heard a thing. Lifetime guarantee my backside.

Horrendous customer service and technical support. Long delay in response, rather than direct your email to the correct dept, they eventually email and ask you to send your email elsewhere in the company. Spares are not supported and no solution offered. They just don’t care.

Our shower door was faulty, then the replacement was faulty, then it was out of stock for two months. All in all, we couldn't use our shower for four months. We were promised vouchers as a gesture of goodwill but these never arrived. Bunch of charlatans working in their customer service department.
