They take orders online but have no stock availability, so you end up with no delivery or delivery cancelled after few days which causes issues in your project and cost you extra money.
They sell defective products and you end up using them as no same day replacements available plus no discounts offered.
Unprofessionalism is the right word for them.

Quite bad advertising here, they lull you in with a cheap offer online only to make up the price with extortionate delivery charges. They offer a collection service but they exploit "covid" to make sure they get their £60 DELIVERY. I was told to shop elsewhere if I found it cheaper and I did!

Bought a shower tray online but when it arrived and I unpacked it, it turned out to be quite bad quality so I decided to send it back. I secured the bix to make sure the item didn't get damaged and sent it with a courier. It arrived in a perfect condition but Regonimic Designs refused to refund me as the box was ripped on one side. Then they stopped replying to my emails and left me £100 short :/ I don't recommend!

Had same issue mentioned by other customers in reviews. Goods received were faulty. Flagged this well within the 14 day window which is flagged on their website and 30 days you get as part of consumer act. They said that I had to flag within 48 hours so not eligible for refund.
This was never mentioned before. No consumer service to talk to. Just email responses stating robotically stating the 48 hour nonsense they have put in comments responding to other 1 star reviews.

We’ve used Ergonomic Designs for several bathroom orders and their service has been excellent. We’ve changed our mind several times and so needed to return items, they’ve been very flexible about accepting returns, even when we were out the country and not able to return within the 14 day window. All products have been in good condition and as advertised. They’ve also been great at answering technical questions. We’ve had happy dealings with this company.

Fantastic service. I was wary of using an online bathroom supplier after ordering (from elsewhere!) last year when items were marked In Stock but actually took almost three weeks to arrive - this seems to be a tactic of many of the online bathroom suppliers.
Ergonomic Designs, however, have accurate listings, a clear website, and straightforward delivery options. Item arrived within 48 hours which was great. Item was exactly as described and well-packaged. Courier used was the most polite and gentlemanly delivery guy I've ever met - knocked gently because he thought we were still sleeping and then carried items into garage for me.
I would definitely, definitely use Ergonomic Designs again. :-)

Ordering process was easy. Kept me updated about delivery. As I was at work on the delivery date, I rang to check if they could give me an estimated delivery time. They said they would find out and rang me back as promised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.

Ergonomic Designs pass the book. Vanity unit has split after less than six months use. Actually purchased Aug 2018 but builder schedule meant Kitchen was done before bathroom causing delay to July 2019 before fitting. 5 Year warranty. Response is because it may have got wet in a bathroom so out of guarantee. Nothing we can do. Tried to be reasonable with them willing to accept a drawer front and replace myself. This is not the end of this.
If you are thinking of purchasing Hudson Reed Products or other items from ED just remember 5 year warranty actually means 5 mins if you are going to put a bathroom vanity unit in a bathroom or have steam close to it. Unfortunately legal proceedings seems to be the only way to make them accept responsibility

I think the prices for items are really good. I had issue with the deliveries, which was frustrating but on the other hand I understand that these things happens. At the first point the issues was not dealt in correct manner or right customer service. After expressing my unsatisfaction with the service Tara was really good and managed to sort out the issue and book alternative delivery. So I think she made great effort and this is why I still ended up having my bath from this company but was not very happy with the delays in receiving it as it delayed my works and left me paying extra for my contractors. The quality of the items are good so they just need to improve their delivery service as well as their junior staff customer service.

You can’t leave 0 stars! No tracking information on placing your order so you won’t know when it will turn up. Ergonomic Designs also failed to respond to follow up email.
Typically item didn’t arrive and I had to call to be told courier company had tried to deliver and carded address. Simply not true we were in and have CCTV. Again no tracking information to reference. Ergonomic Design Checked on my order, it was returned to manufacturer and sold to someone else. Because there is no tracking information they are also in the dark to what had happened and won’t know if the item has arrived. No offer of alternative product or any help on the phone. Just excuses. Asked for a full refund.
Sometimes you pay a few pounds less but it costs you much more in time and frustration.

We spent over £1000 on bathroom furniture from Ergonomic Designs. We visually checked all items on delivery as demanded but did not check internally. One vanity unit had arrived broken internally which we didn’t notice until it was being installed. As this fell outside of their strict 48 hour window they refused to repair, refund or replace. Consumer rights state that the onus is upon them within the first 6 months to prove that it was not damaged upon delivery. They do not adhere to consumer law. This has left us with an unusable unit and their suggestion was to buy another. Buyer beware.

We'd been looking for a non slip shower with low profile to provide safe showering and trip-free access for the young and elderly in our family.
This shower really fits the bill. It is definitely ergonomically designed. It is also a good price, which includes the waste/drain.
Delivery was swift and at the time expected.
This company seem to have put some careful thought into their stock. Worth supporting.

Initially found them to be difficult to deal with, as they require photo ID to collect items paid for online, which I have never encountered before, and were unable to dispatch the goods from the warehouse to their shop until payment was received. However, they quickly provided a reasonable (albeit slightly convoluted) solution of cancelling the order and placing it again on the day, which worked out just fine (refund came through within a couple of days, which they advised would be the case). Goods were as described, and the price is great. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Was slightly put off by previous reviews regarding holes not right and latches not working but everything fitted perfectly and the finish was much better than I expected. I am used to assembling items as part of my work and it took me 90 minutes taking it slowly and would advise that you read the fitting instructions carefully as several items could be fitted the wrong way around unless you study the pictures. We are very pleased with the look of the sideboard and would definitely buy from them again.

I ordered a 3 way thermostatic mixer valve and attachments from Ergonomic design over 5 years ago now, I originally purchased from them as I loved the design on it and the great price in comparison to others.
Over 5 years later I had an issue which the support team helped me along with, support was great and very friendly. I'm due to move, starting a big renovation project and I will definitely be looking to purchase from them again. Highly recomend. Thankyou

I bought several items for the bathroom at very competitive prices. Unfortunately one item arrived broken but the company exchanged it very quickly at their expense. This slight hiccup was no big deal and I'm very happy with the whole transaction.
It’s helpful to see good reviews but the best measure is how the company dealt with a problem, as none of us want hassle. They scored 10/10 so I’d highly recommend Ergonomic Designs.

Appalling customer service. £300 radiator with a very minor leak off the bleed valve and wouldn’t send out a £1.50 part until they had photos - meaning my plumber had to come back at a later date and charge again!
Absolute disgrace....system procedures are more important than doing the right thing by their customer.

I phoned up to get a very specific part from a shower I purchased 8 years prior to the part failing. They found the part told me the code which I ordered. The part arrived in a box far to large. I arranged my plumber. He came opened up the shower and said the part I had been sent was not the right part. I photographed the part and the company said they had sent the wrong item which they replaced promptly. Sadly I had to pay twice for the plumber to come out twice so costed £72 more than it should due to Ergonomic Designs error.

Bought 2 WCs with cisterns that were supposed to include ceramic handles. The ceramic handles never came in the packages sent and when I pointed this out all Ergonomic could say was that you had signed for delivery and I would have to pay extra if I still want them. Like you really have time to check what is in the boxes when the delivery guy is stood waiting for a signature

Very competitive pricing for the items I bought - cheapest I could find on the internet! Although items haven’t been fitted yet but I checked them for damage on arrival (all good) and they are excellent. Really happy with my purchase.
Delivery was a nightmare though. Originally booked in for a Tuesday but items came on Monday when I wasn’t at home. Then waited in on Tuesday for the whole afternoon and they didn’t arrive because the courier company didn’t load them on the van. Rearranged for Thursday but one item turned up on Wednesday; it was an extremely heavy glass shower screen which the driver couldn’t carry so I had to help him bring it in. The rest of the order then came on Thursday. Got a refund of the delivery charge but considering it was incredibly stressful would rather they have got it right first time!
