Good food, huge portions! Lots to choose from the menu. It's a large pub so you always get a seat. In the summer the outside seating is the best but it is also nice and cozy in the winter. Varied selection of beers and ales on tap!

Good outside space and good food with decent selection of ales...even better if you can get the locals discount card! Great for big groups. Only down side is that the food is a little expensive.

A little out of the way from the centre of town but it is a lovely pub. Vintage feel inside and a huge outside full of decking with heated seating areas, great for groups. Good selection of beers.

The building itself is excellent with a lovely interior. Came with friends for a Sunday roast. They loved their traditional roast, while we had the vegetarian roast, which really was more like a plate of roast side dishes than being conceived as a fully thought-out meal. Did not really enjoy it, unfortunately.

Great selection of lager, craft beers, gins and spirits and big beer garden. Excellent staff. Menu is compact and a little bit grandiose but generally good. Seven Dials staff get a selection of discounted drinks.

Nice pub with large range of draught beers, ales and ciders. Decent sized garden that is always clean and pleasant. On the pricier side though which is not the best place on a budget. Serve food fresh daily, with specials that vary. Pub can get very busy and loud at times, usually the obvious being evenings and weekends. A single toilet on each side of the pub is certainly not ideal and if busy you will probably be queueing.

Dissapointing trip for a Sunday lunch. The girl serving behind the bar was grumpy and unaccomodating. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was given a vodka and tomato juice, when I asked the girl told me 'we don't do cocktails' which left me thinking, why agree to make a Bloody Mary then?
The girl serving the food was nice and had a sense of humour, but the food itself left a lot to be desired.
We won't be returning here any time soon

This is a large pub with an extensive range of drinks and a large menu. Unfortunately it doesn't make it a great pub and, although I've been here twice, I won't be racing back. It seems popular with families though.

Expensive. Good outdoors area in that location and you can always get a seat. Menu looks nice but last couple of times the food has been a little underwhelming (small portion, not the best quality for the price) This pub definitely used to be better.

Nice pub, good decor. Some very tasty food too. I recommend the deep fried fish burger or the mushroom and spinach sausage rolls. Drinks are a little pricey, but that's Brighton for you!

Bar staff are great and always up for a laugh. Great choice of local ales and delicious food offered. Beer garden seating is amazing in the summer. A busy pub though so a space isn't guaranteed!

Great pub with a large selection of beers & wine. Food here is good & worth trying. The bar staff are friendly & the general atmosphere here is very positive. Lots of space inside with spacious outside areas to the front & back as well.

Brilliant pub in a busy area. Good range of beers and good food. My Sunday roast was the turkey and the plate was piled high. Delicious. Very popular on Sundays so might pay to book.

Nice place to eat and drink with friends. Not really kids friendly, I have been told kids not aloud to run inside the pub!? The bad impression stared with a supervisor (I think - very important lady who is telling you what to do). When she was opening the front door, I asked her if we can park in the drive way. (It was no parking what so ever, we're looking for sometime. But just give up ). She wasn't nice, very bad management, not even a half of smile and help. Zero customers skills.
We didn't look for free parking, we where tiered of driving with 2 kids in the car. just wanted to have nice time. And she didn't even answer my older boy "hello ". She basically ignored him! Shame on you!

Really enjoyed the Mediterranean food here - served on wooden boards. A different selection of foods than your average pub - and really healthy options too and vegetarian if required. The pub itself has loads of character with the bar being situated in the middle, and several different varieties of seating areas. Recommended.

The central bar has quick service, it's a really friendly and cosy pub. Excellent for medium sized groups. They will reserve areas and have a good selection of ales :)

My work local and it's definitely been over-frequented. Infuriating policy of charging more than half a full pint price for a half, plus some sulky looks if you challenge a poorly measured drink. Still, I've had a some good nights here and the food's half decent. Worth a visit.

A large and lively pub, great selection of beers and according to wine drinking friends wine is good as well. Good menu with veggie choices. This visit was with a large group and this pub is ideal for large groups and obviously smaller groups.

Very large pub and beer garden. Great for big groups and after-work drinks. Reasonably priced with some craft ales also.tje food here is delicious (and that's just what I have pinched off friends' plates!) Will be going back for a pub lunch or roast soon!
