The seating was lovely and comfortable, the menu is simple and not too long, I ordered a single platter which I shared with my friend (this was not recommended by the waiter because usually people order this for one person but in the end we were both quite full and happy with our order) it cost £21 and it included 1/2 a chicken, a 5oz (~142gram) rump steak, 2 lamb chops and 3 massive chicken wings, the chicken was tender, not too dry and tasted great, and my friend was quite impressed with their creamy peppercorn sauce and how it tasted with the steak, and although he ordered a rare steak and received something closer to a medium he said it didn't matter much as the beef was still tender and juicy anyway, expect to spend £10 to £17 on mains, also just to clarify the waiter was patient and nice even though he made an unwise recommendation.

It's such a good restaurant, the food is amazing. Honestly, if you were gonna get anything get the habanero fries (I think that's what they are called). They are so good and the burger sauce they come with is incredible

This place does really disappoint me. Asked for some mayonnaise which they gave me in a tiny tub. I then find out they charged me a pound for that. Ordered a beef burger that cost £8.50 which i assumed it would be gourmet but it was the horrendous processed tasting beef patties. I feel since they changed their menus, decor etc, they try and take every penny off you if they can.
If your charging so much for a processed burger, it should at least come with chips!
There are no options just to get a single can of drink instead its watered down bottomless drink. Again. I feel the other option is something that leaves you no choice but to spend more.
I would definitely pay good money for good food and for a restaurant that looks after its customers. But this place, i feel it don't.
Once you finish your food, they are very quick to get rid of you. Theyll clear your plates and ask if you want the bill. Bill comes staright away and even before you look at what you are paying for, they asking if its cash or card.
Its pressuring and awkward.

The staff were fantastic even before we arrived! We had to ring for directions and Alex took his time and directed us staying on the phone till we arrived. Martin who seated us spent the whole evening making sure everything was just right as he rushed around doing the same for others. The food was very tasty and we had a great evening. Great service in a busy restaurant. Highly recommend.

Visited on a Sunday as a group of five. We were told we would have to wait 30 min for food to be done since they had a a table of ~17 people who pre-booked. Fair enough.
1. Many items on the menu were unavailable-kept coming to us asking to choose alternatives
2. When the orders came-they looked made in a rush, simply thrown on the plate without a care. One person on our table got significantly more fries than another.
3. Food was bellow average-a £1 McDonalds mayo chicken looks better than what we got. £8 for a tiny tiny piece of breast chicken in a bun with some sauce and salad. A £12 pulled pork burger that was just a bun and some pulled pork-no salad, cheese, tomato or actual burger. Nachos that were average-meh.
4. We saw the plates for the prebooked table-proper care, with equal portions of sides and better service. We were treated like second best.
5. Staff were nice though.
Second visit but wont come again! you lost clients.

I live nearby and this is my favourite place for dinner when I don't want to cook. I enjoy the food, but the service is terrible. When the manager(looks like) is in, he served well and make people satisfied. When he is not there, the waitress takes ages to order, she once let people who came after me to order first. I hope the owner read feedback and improve the service. From now on I will only eat here when the manager is in.

Food was ok service was very friendly and attentive my wife asked for the sirloin steak medium rare was over cooked and she’s sure it was rump not sirloin not steak person so not sure ???? too chewy she didn’t like it chicken and lamb chops were good

Myself and a large group of others booked a table hear we were all quite satisfied with the service and would recommend eating here however I would avoid the signature dish as I found it to be unsure what it was trying to be they were too many toppings and dollops with cheese all over it it was a half curry half grilled chicken style not sure what it was but everything else was great we'll be going again but trying a burger this time.

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and will take your order at your table. Warm welcome as soon as you enter and will accommodate your every need. If you want your food to be made a particular way, all you have to do is say. One of the best places to eat in Loughborough.

Food was way below par. Ordered the burger meals (you have to pay extra for cheese!), and were both overcooked to the point they were crispy on the outside. Corn on the cob was good. Pricing: way overpriced and definitely not worth it. Most definitely will not be going back and would not recommend.
