Wow after a year of lockdown going to Neighbourhood today felt like being on holiday in the med. Ice cold pale ale on tap served with delicious vegan food outside in the sun- what a huge treat! Everything we ordered was great. The loaded fries were amazing (I have missed chips a lot!) and the cauliflower and sweetcorn fritters were like a little taste of Asia. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Neighbourhood, we can't wait to come back.

Really exceptional vegan food. I never can be bothered to leave reviews but had such a delicious brunch and coffee here since it reopened and an amazing value 5 course meal delivered during lockdown. My new favourite place to eat in Brighton

Just picked up a 5 course vegan Asian dinner from here and it was amazing!! Fantastic value for £15! Have heard the Sunday roasts are pretty awesome too so will definitely be giving it a go now! Thanks for staying open during the lockdown!

It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was ok-ish, if a bit bland, dry, and underwhelming. Coffee was very good. Would only come here again for coffee and cakes and only if I have lots of time to waste as the cafe is located in a very nice place and looks great.

We had a great takeaway from the Neighbourhood which was a very tasty 5 course Vegan Asian meal that they are offering on Fridays and Saturdays during lockdown. I think the evening takeaway menu changes from week to week, we thoroughly enjoyed our food - thank you to the friendly staff as well!

Lovely place for a sunday brunch. Loved the seitan sausage and homemade bakes beans. Staff were really friendly and relaxed. Great strong coffee too!

Nice and friendly spot very chilled, vegan, veggie options, no gluten free yet but they are working on it, no palm oil which is good for me, they use Swiss Bouillon vegan stock in the soup of the day, it has Yeast Extract but its from an organic source and as a chronic pain sufferer this usually flairs my condition but this high quality stock is fine all vegatables are organic. Organic olive oil, coffee, herbal teas in a pot very nice. Soup of the day £3.95

If you don't have enough time, avoid this place. We had our food after 1 hour. The place was busy but they literally forgot about us. I ordered at the till because we couldn't catch the attention of the waitress/waiter. We received the orange juice immediately. After 35 minutes one of the waitress came asking if we wanted any food!!! I paid when I ordered, otherwise we would have left immediately. Finally, after 25 minutes we got the food, which was ok.

Fresh and colourful vegetarian food, at very reasonable prices! The vegetable bowl I ordered was so delicious. Staff here know their stuff and have a real passion for getting it right, from sourcing ingredients to making their own pickled garnishes! A delight to visit.

We shared some tapas between three of us - started with one of each and then knew what we wanted to have more of. Small portions so you can mix and match easily. Lots of seasonal veg and you can taste the love and creativity put in to making them by the chef. Tried two different desserts too - chocolate delice was too dense for me, but paired well with the jam and brittle. Absolutely loved the pain perdu which was so soft and airy and just delicious. Very happy we stopped there. Thank you very much Neighbourhood!

Went to this cafe as they advertise as being 100% plant based and ethical. Unfortunately they are not as they sell eggs, milk and cheese. When I asked what was ethical about their eggs the woman server laughed and said nothing. In separate news the food was cold and had no flavour at all. Although the coffee was good. Still not good enough for me to want to ever get back. Such a shame seing as we’ve just moved to Brighton

Although tasty, two of us ordered the same dish - the summer bowl - and they differed in what was included. They both had the same amounts of salad, only the one falafel each, red cabbage, broccoli and humous but one had apple and pumpkin. When I enquired about my missing ingredients the chef told me there was probably something else added instead and that it’s “all freestyle anyway”. At a steep £8 a pop, it’s a bit tight get 2 less ingredients and pretty pretentious to shrug and say it’s freestyle cooking when you’ve just forgotten to put stuff on the plate.
