Very very enjoyable coffee, well selected blends prepared and served to a high quality. Very good selection of nibbles that taste even better than they look. Very very lovely staff and cool art work inside, new favourite coffee place in Brighton! Recommend HIGHLY!!!!

This is a little gem in the heart of Brighton. I had a beautiful and fresh cheese and meat platter that included home made focaccia, that had come straight out of the oven, and freshly sliced, great quality, meats and cheeses. The host was attentive and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough and I shall certainly be returning again soon.

Delicious! My partner and I visited this charming Italian cafe today and thoroughly enjoyed a cheese and meat platter made with an assortment of fresh cheese, quality sliced meat and homemade foccacia still warm from the oven. Salad and olives completed the platter. We chose to eat in the private outside courtyard. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Great courtyard at the back of the cafe that gets the afternoon sun, lovely interior, friendly staff and delicious-looking pastries and drinks. I had an iced chocolate oat milk drink which the baristas recommended and made with a lot of care and made me feel really welcome.
Their instagram account is also great, really fun and colourful; reflective of the women that were behind the counter when I visited. I hope the owner reads this and hears what a credit they both were to your business, it made a huge impact on me and really brightened up my day!
I'll definitely be back, I saw someone posted about there being pistachio-filled croissants, so got to check those out!

We came in the cafe as we thought it was a nice place to stop for a coffee. When we came in we found a server who didn't look really happy to have to work to be honest. He barely said anything. That's when I thought that we can all have a bad day. (Having worked in hospitality myself I tried to be comprehensive) but then I got the drink I ordered and, being honest, I've never seen such a lack of effort. It was an iced latte. What I actually got was a glass of milk stained with a drop of coffee. He didn't even bother to mix the drink so you could clearly see it was just too white for a latte. Anyway, the cake we ordered was very dry as well. Nice flavour though. When we left we said thanks to him. He said nothing back. Overall it wasn't a good experience and we didn't feel welcome at all.

Today while strolling through town, I came across this quaint cafe and had to give it a go! While ordering a coffee I was offered a Caramelised pear and caramelised banana muffin with some salt flakes on it. It was one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever tasted and the kindness of the staff with the beautiful cake and coffee has made me ensure that I will always pop by whenever I’m in the area. Would highly recommend to all!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!
My family and I came here for breakfast (with children) before going to our cinema viewing.
To say the least it was ruined!!
Two of us were served within 10 minutes of being there and the other two were kept waiting for 45 minutes! My little boy was crying because he was so hungry and the food still hadn’t been served.
The table behind us was kept waiting too.
The manager is actually vile, his customer service skills are outrageous. I and my family were dealt with incorrectly. He’s argumentative and has no compassion where children are concerned!
The girl that works on the till is absolutely lovely, and deserves to be spoken to nicer and treated better, she’s too good to be working there. Poor girl. Great customer service and very apologetic.
We were offered a refund by her, which was lovely! But that nasty manager didn’t agree! He wanted to then take the food back from the CHILDREN! because he gave us the refund he said don’t deserve the food?! VILE!!!
SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO HERE!
KEEP YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE YOUR ACTUALLY TREATED WITH RESPECT AND MADE TO FEEL WELCOME.

Came in for a cappuccino and saw a delicous pear and banana muffin, it was the most amazing muffin I've ever had. On top of that Anna who served me was friendly and very welcoming she had a biggest smile which was really good to see.

Disappointed in the “Full English breakfast” Im sad say. The smallest portion I’ve ever had. A teaspoon of baked beans, few tiny mushrooms. Also I’ve never known a cafe that provide 1 slice of bacon as a “portion of bacon” ??. I am unable to upload the picture I took for some reason but suffice to say when the plate was put in front of my I thought too ask as to when the rest will be brought out. What I received this morning certainly was not value for money. I also had to clear the outside table myself as the left overs from the previous customers were just left there. Maybe they were just having an off day.

Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced, great coffee & cakes. Food was tasty & service fine. The restroom is only accessible through the garden which is a little interesting on a wet and windy evening but all in all a nice place. Will go again

I have read negative reviews here and quite surprise how vicious some people are. I hope they never do any mistakes in their life and they have got very well established businesses with excellent service. The problem was sorted by full refund and I am sure the girl was feeling awful what's was the point to make this all fuss. Disgraceful attitude.
