The Leicester Market is well maintained and an open market hall during this time of pandemic all the rules are followed, I love to buy all my fruits and vegetables as the price are reasonable, it serve the community well.In addition, the Fish market is very neat. To my experience Leicester Open Market is the best place to shop.

Great selection of fresh vegetables, meat and fish. Prices are very competitive and the quality is superior to that of local supermarket chains. Great bargains to be picked at the end of the day as well (although the quality isn't as great as in the morning). The trip to the city centre is certainly worth it.

Not many stalls left but please go and support amazing options and £1 a bowl for many! Would get so much more here for your money than any supermarket and no doubt fresher!! Support the stalls its now a weekly visit for me

Very cheap but get home to find mold on orange grape and strawberry. Orange from one place. Grape and strawberry from one place. Fish market is good. Nice tasty fish. Nice man always good to talk. I am not chef so ask for cleaning and take out bone so ready to cook and he do for free. I not eat red meat but the food look fresh here. I come maybe 1 or 2 time a week

One of my favourite places in Leicester. you can find some good deals at a very low price sometimes while you can buy rotten fruits and vegetables without even noticing at other times. You need to wear a mask and gloves before going there as it's cash only. I'd recommend it to people who like observing social interaction and multicultural societies like myself. Don't forget get to drop by the fish market which is just in the opposite entrance.
