I adore this spot! They prepare high quality dishes, their menu is decent, The chef in that place is well trained, I enjoy a lot trying all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the guests is nice. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. Highly recommended.

The food was pleasant, especially the whitebait. However, I've definitely had better and more tender steaks for much cheaper and the lobster was very small. I wouldn't say this is worth the full price when it's no longer offering the Eat Out to Help Out discount. The three dishes we ordered plus service charge would have come to about £90! If I had paid that much I would have been very unhappy. I also didn't like the fact that they calculated the service charge before applying the discount, making the service charge an overly large portion of the bill, especially considering the fact that the servers were not that attentive or friendly.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The team is very receptive and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I actually chose somewhere else as my first choice for my birthday meal, but unfortunately that place had permanently closed, so I chose this instead and I'm glad I did. This is in a very nice area (Marylebone) the staff are very friendly and the service is very good. I enjoyed my birthday meal here, especially because of they oysters. My main course was very filling, I love seafood. Also the waiter was nice enough to give me a tiny piece of cake with a candle when he heard it was my birthday. I would recommend to anyone who has a passion for fish and seafood

Scallops of the day is very delicious. I like the sweet taste of scallops that contrast with garlic butter taste. When squeezing a little lemon juice on top, the combination is amazing. The texture of soft scallops and crispy crumble also make variety of touch and very enjoyable to eat. Overall, the food needs to be waited for a little long time. However, there are plenty of freshness and good seafood here!

Excellent fish restaurant. First and foremost, all necessary covid measures are in place.
The food very good, no complaints from the four of us. We had a varied selection from the menu, cooked to perfection with the right amount of wait time.
Staff were attentive, friendly and very professional.
We did get the governments restaurant discount but even without this it wouldn't of changed our opinion.
Thanks for making my partners birthday that little bit more special.

Exceptional meal at fish works thank you for your hospitality and delicious food. Chilli flaked white bait for starter and god and chips for main. I was very impressed with these delicious dishes. I would recommend this to any fish lover. Excellent wine selection .

We visited on Saturday at 9pm. We ordered 2 starters (a salad and chips) as well as 2 mains. The food was delicious, fresh and seasoned well. It is a bit pricey but it is seafood after all. Service was good and food came in a timely order.

Incredible restaurant, we were seated relatively fast and served just as quick. The food was delicious, recommended the smoked salmon for starters and tuna for mains. Their alcohol selection has a nice variety and their staff were very friendly. It was a beautiful location and you could tell the fish was fresh.
Would definitely go again.

At the first moment you step in that place the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very comfortable team, it is a lovely place to enjoy with friends or with your date. enjoyable meals, professional chef de cuisine, good pay and generous service. Highly recommended.

Delicious seafood spot - we had the prawns appetiser, the grilled seafood platter and the tuna. The grilled seafood plater is highly recommendable. Their desserts are great too, we had the panna cotta with espresso and it was delicious.

I call this outstanding place often as I love the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably loyal and experienced. The service is awfully rapid. Also, the food they prepare is good. I ate there many times and I was always pleased. The rate is reasobable. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Beautifully quaint restaurant that you get to by walking first through the fishmongers that serves the fresh seafood to the kitchen. Recommend you before coming here.
Food was average overall for the price you pay. The tuna I had which was meant to be medium was almost fully cooked which was a shame.

We were really looking forward to our visit to Fishworks, but felt let down by the food quality in relation to the very high menu prices. It wasn't bad, but certainly didn't wow in any way. Most disappointing was the 'whole' lobster didn't come served with claws... So it's not a whole lobster.
Meanwhile, the Lobster Thermidor (again, not a very big lobster) was apparently blow-torched to give it the 'baked' finish. But it ended up tasting slightly charred/burnt. This is a £37 dish. There's no excuse but to get it perfect.
On the plus side, service was excellent. The setting - being pretty noisy and chain-like, was a bit glorified cafe, in relation to price I have to say. Forgive me, but when you can go to Big Easy and get a full lobster (with claws) and a drink for £20 that tasted better, I'd go there.

Unfortunately, either the mackerel was off or the scallops were not good. Either way a dose of food poisoning followed.
The one thing I would expect of this restaurant is fresh fish. The cooking and presentation wasn’t great but if the fish was at least fresh then you could get away with it.
We contacted the restaurant to let them know of the issues. Alas no response.
EDIT: The restaurant did respond eventually with a third party company to check the source of the food poisoning.

My second time at a Fishworks restaurant, and my first time at Marylebone. I was here with a group celebrating a birthday. The menu is small but evidently plays to the restaurants strengths, including a fairly good kid's menu. Between us we had oysters, sourdough bread and taramasalata, fish and chips, scallops, lobster, prawns and more, with juice, beer and spirits to drink, and I have to say everything was excellent. The only notable hiccup was that the chef didn't seem to understand that "well done" means "no blood please" - yes, we cavemen who like our steaks cremated are a dying breed but there are still a few of us! Not cheap but worth the asking price. Service was a little sleepy despite the place not being too packed. Overall though a really pleasant meal - would return.

It does not seem that the number one voted seafood restaurant of London,in terms of service and tastes.i had been at marylebone high street branch,although not a busy time,only one table was busy,my service was not properly done,i called the waiter or waiters in every time,thus my place face to face to the bar station.The food was delicious,sauces were succesful,the fish was delicious,the menu was limited,portions were small

Both myself and my wife were food poisoned at this restaurant. Instead of apologising and refunding our meal, it was differed to a third party. Despite the fact that the toxic smell from the lobster dish was noted, which we were stupid enough to ignore, and the fact that we ate nothing on that day apart from home cooked vegetarian breakfast, the 3rd party said that there was nothing wrong. When asked how I can report this to authorities, the 3rd part disappeared. The food itself, save for Argentian prawns, was blunt and medium-rare seared tuna was well done.. Wish we dined in and had an opportunity to return the food straight away.

Very nice fish. However, I have only rated FishWorks 3 stars as I ordered roasted carrots that came steamed - not much of an issue, but I was upset by the unprofessionalism of the waiter who denied what was on the menu and then came across passive aggressive by doing them “just for me”

Small seafood restaurant on the Marylebone High Street. Food presented and cooked well, but lacking in exceptional flavours, which was surprisingly, due to FOOD award. Let down by inattentive staff who could do with restaurant training. (could have just been our bad luck!) Definitely has potential.

We have been there with our Kids - they both love seafood, we had muscles, fish and chips, salmon, grilled Tuna and fish soup. Everything to perfection, maybe the sauce tartare and the hollondaise needs some improvement.
Stuff is friendly and takes care.

How disappointing our lunch experience was on Thursday. A review beforehand had mentioned that the mackerel was old and the scallops dry - exactly like our dishes - sad I hadn’t read it beforehand. Alot of money for two very second rate dishes .
