Always get great customer service in this store, my local one. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and there always seem to be people available to help.

It certainly isn't huge, but well placed in the hub of west norwood, with parking, and the usual range from this provider and their brand.

The entrance to car park is a lil confusing but besides that staff seem friendly. They lost a star due to access\exit to car park being a lil strange.

Didn't like the customer service in there. Couldn't find anyone to help us with our query. And when we finally did, she replied us in a hurry while walking away. Shame!

Always seems a bit of a lottery whether what you want is in stock or not, even for basics.

AVOID - poor range of stock, rude and uninformed staff. customer service extremely lacking. Bad stock check - don't go by anything online. If you can, go somewhere else. Homebase Penge, Wickes Anerley or even B&Q Croydon is far better

I purchased some loft boards from this store earlier today. I found all the staff very helpful but one person, Emanuel, went the extra mile to be helpful in finding what I needed, loading it on a trolley for me and then taking it all out to my car. When I thanked him for his help, Emanuel just smiled and said "It's my job." Great guy!

Great Hardware store its on very busy road, Store Parking is available and its free which is wonderful even in busy area, There is a tiny entrance next to store for parking. This store has 2 floors both floors has helpful staff and its available to assist customers and bother floors has their own payment counters, in size this store is smaller then purely Store but still it has complete range of items Goods quality is good if there something wrong with the item your purchased you can always go to customer service counter to replace it or refund. I went there and I got what I wanted i pass this store every day staff is professional and help full you can pay cash and card both options are available, I did not find any self checkout machine & not sure about toilet but one thing which is important you have to take your carrier bags with you for your small items I did not find any bags in anywhere in B&Q. If they start Selling bags as well for their customers that will be really helpful.

Typical of the chain. Car parking is essential when you pick up heavy stuff. Sensible layout means you don't have to carry cement etc far to the car.

Strolled in on a Sunday morning with my small dog to do some shopping which turned into a complete uncalled for fiasco. I took the dog with me as he is welcomed into the other big DIY stores so didn’t think it would be a problem. Was approached by the security guy who rudely told me to leave the building as dogs were not allowed. He was rude and aggressive telling me I needed to leave by the ground floor despite my car being parked upstairs. He told me I had to carry my dog and became more aggressive towards me when I told him I would be walking out with the dog. He squared up to me waving his badge in my face when I asked for his name. The Deputy Manager was unable to calm him down when he came over who was equally as rude telling me to do what I had to do and leave the store. I honestly felt as if I had committed some sort of crime. I have never been treated so badly by staff in a retail shop. It was horrendous behaviour. I called a few days later and spoke to the store Manager who came across as disinterested about the incident and didn’t have much to say other than the security guard had been reported to the company he works for. Until it’s under new management I will never use this store again. Rude, unprofessional and aggressive staff.

Smaller B&Q, but two floors and free parking (with attendant at peak times) on what is quite a small site. Very convenient as a local B&Q to nip into when halfway through a job that you need an extra tool etc for. Well worth checking online that they have what you need in stock if you need something very specific etc.
