Took my son here to look at cars, great range of cars, helpful staff, easy to get to, plenty of parking, that's about all I can say about the place as he didn't buy a car at the time. But based on the way the staff were, the way the place looks and the range of cars and options I had to give them 5 stars.

Just taken my car for mot and I was a sit and wait. Service was brilliant! The staff was very helpful and even advised where the local park was as my 15 month old was quite irritable straight away. Thank you guys for going above and beyond with the customer service.

Had the car serviced at stapleford10th Oct. All was fine until I did my weekly under bonnet check about 5 days later. I found that the cover that sits on top of the engine was no longer there. I know it was there before it went to service. I've been back to query its whereabouts. I know it is only cosmetic but that's not the point. It was there and now it's not. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEIR ANSWER. Over to you Terry Allsop who I'm led to believe is the manager at stapleford. I will update this in the near future - hopefully. Update. After being in contact with firstly, Luke and also Terry, the cover is nowhere to be seen. Somewhat upset as it was different and really finished off the look of the engine as the standard fit cover just doesn't look right. I'm going to keep looking on t'web to see if I can find another. In the meantime it's still only 3*'s.

The new shop/ office is rubbish no staff, there is a bell to ring it take about 30minutes for someone to come, when they did come not any help they have to get someone else to get the order so in all I was there for about an hour. And a customer left he was on his lunch break and he needed to get back to work.

Terrible service, incorrect information given when booking in. Advised works could not be completed as they where running on skeleton staff. Next available date was in 3 weeks time even though it was a safety recall. Staff rude and unhelpful. Use elsewhere if possible.

They might have done a good job I have yet to find out, but do not try to phone them it will cost you a fortune because I was kept hanging on for so long I was going to phone the police I thought they had all been murdered, and then when I did get my car I was handed the keys but could not find it, nobody had thought of getting it out for me. Their after sales at the front desk want,s a good kick up the backside.

Partners car was in for repair after an accident. They didn't give her a courtesy car for over a week! She has had to go 2 weekends and a week without a car because of this useless lot. Quite happy to take your money but aren't too bothered about keeping in contact with their customers unless it's for more money. She had to ring them to find out where her courtesy car was. When she eventually got her car back, they hadn't fixed a part properly and it ruined the engine. The whole engine had to be replaced.

We’re really happy with the service recieved from sandicliffe stapleford ford used cars. I took my mother there to purchse a younger car after 18 years of a trouble free Ford Focus. (Also bought from sandicliffe). We felt at the time a Nissan note they happened to have on the forecourt would be a better driving position as she is in her 70’s......a suitable one was sourced and mum went on her way, however over a couple of months steering knocks developed and were dealt with by sandicliffe Nissan Nottingham (their service was ok). Things just didn’t seem right with the vehicle, steering still seemed to pull despite being told the car was checked over and all was fine. My mother was miserable and fretting over it and wouldn’t drive it unless it was absolutely needed, so I contacted Nissan who advised me to contact the original seller, sandicliffe Ford stapleford. I honestly thought I’d have a lot of to-ing and fro-ing on my hands, with a car only owned for five months, so I emailed sandicliffe stapleford used car dealer advising that I felt the car was defective either by hidden accident history or just a bad one of a batch when manufactured. To my pleasant surprise, and I’m happy to eat humble pie on this occasion, Dale (I believe he is the manager in the branch) called me within only a couple of hours of him receiving the email. We had a good chat, I told him my concerns, and he was nothing but accomodating, honest and extremely helpful inviting us back in. So we did, he listened to our requirements and completely understood our concerns and requests, he put mum's mind at ease as she didn't want to put anybody out or feel she was being a nuisance to anyone, nothing was too much trouble for sandicliffe and suggested my mother try different vehicles of a fiesta so she was absolutely confident in her exchange/purchase. There was no haste, and very relaxed. Even whilst waiting for vehicles to be bought round for her to try, the other members of the team acknowledged us, made sure we were being taken care of and offered drinks. They went out of their way to source a suitable colour, even driving to their leicester branch but my mother fell in love with a white fiesta they already had on their forecourt in the end. The exchange was fair and everything was explained to us clearly and competently with cost and value. The team who dealt with us was Dale, Tom and Craig. Even on collection of the replacement car they all came out checking she was happy, all resolved. This team is an asset to sandicliffe, they hold good old british values and customer service and has certainly exceeded in any expectations I have of the motor industry (bad experience at Volvo derby sales when wanting to purchase a younger model of our xc90). Most importantly, I have a happy mother who is now delighted with her vehicle. Fingers crossed it will see her through her final years of driving trouble free. Thank you.

I would like to go on record to say the welcome and the service I received of Kev on the part exchange and purchase of a vehicle from him and the help we we're shown was outstanding, and the fact that whilst dealing with him it was mentioned that my wife was due to have a brain tumor removed later in the week we purchased the vehicle ,and that the day after the operation he actually send us a message asking if everything went well with the operation was above and beyond what you would normally expect of a salesperson and can only pass on my sincere thanks to him for being such a thoroughly decent and kind person and I would have no hesitation recommending anyone to purchase their vehicles through Sandicliiffe Stapleford. First off, I must stipulate that my dealings are with the body shop branch, not the sales team. Absolutely abhorrent service, accompanied by the phone being put down on me. The insurance agent himself couldn't get through to them, this says a lot. Relevantly flippant staff who attempted to be pleasant, but soon showed their true colours when questioned on any of their shortcomings. It's one of the wonders of the world to how they are an "approved" repair centre to so many insurance companies. In future I will refuse any dealings with them.

My wife’s car was in for a service yesterday and they told her that her tyres only had 2.4mm tread remaining and asked if she would like them changing despite the legal limit being 1.6mm. I feel that tyres with acceptable tread have been removed and they have sold her new tyres purely for profit.

Bought a used fiesta from here on finance. Part of the deal was that it would be fitted with Bluetooth. Drove the car away thinking I'd done really well. I had to complain 2 times about the Bluetooth causing me to go through batteries and was told 2 times it had been fixed not to mention the creepy salesman tried to hit on me via text after I'd left (I am told he's been fired). I lost the plot when at 8 months pregnant the car battery died because of the bluetooth (AGAIN) and stranded me and they wanted to charge me £120 for 'diagnostics'. Took it in and guess what, it was the damn Bluetooth. The hilarious thing is, when it first broke, they accused me of getting dodgy Bluetooth fitted and completely backtracked when I reminded them that they fit it because I took the car .AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'm disgusted.

Was looking to change my car for a while and saw one online that fitted the bill. Visited on Sunday evening and collected my new car the following Saturday. I don’t find “sales” situations easy by any means and purposefully visited towards closing time for this reason. Well, I needn’t have, following the enquiry call from Charlie in the office, I went down and was helped by Lysander who made me feel right at ease, explored all my options for finance with me and sorted the test drive - all within the 40 minutes on a hot Sunday afternoon. I am so pleased I chose Sandicliffe, they have been nothing short of world class and I would recommend anyone to chose them. Special mentions to Dale and James as well. This is a great team and the manager should be commended for the smooth operation. Thanks for everything!

Apart from the time I went into the showroom for a replacement sidelight/steering bulb ( roughly 50p each) and, after taking one of the showroom personnel out to point out the exact bulb (he then conferred with an older collegue ) told me it would cost me in the region of £160 ! I took it to another garage .... £2.00 supply and fit! ...and apart from the absolute lackadaisical way that they seem to have in response To Two ' URGENT ACTION ' recall letters (March & August) from Ford and four phone callls regarding the possible overheating of the engine due to malfunctioning equipment. ..resulting in cilnder head cracking and catching fire.... (not a nice occurrence when doing 70 on the motorway )....... Apart from that. ...they are wonderful bunch of lads!????

Always MOT my cars here, as they are so busy they don't need to 'create' work for themselves, as I suspect some garages do. Efficient and professional, but can be expensive. They have matched prices I've had from other places before for bigger jobs (such as flywheel), so worth an ask.

Not at all impressed with my experience at Sandicliffe. Usually pretty good but I felt more like an inconvenience than a customer today. I know having your car serviced is not meant to be that exciting, but I would expect it to be pleasant. Booked in several weeks ago for a major service with a promise it would take "2-3 hours". When I arrived I was told it would be 7 hours! My receptionist said he would "see if he could rush it through" but that didn't happen, and it still wasn't quite ready when I went to collect it when 7 hours were up. I would describe my experience as unfriendly and unwelcoming. Please sort out your customer service Sandicliffe - it's what used to bring me to you and after today I might just go elsewhere.

Please, please, please DO NOT give these cowboys your Ford. I had no choice but to put it into them for a Ford diagnostic test, worst service and customer relations I've experienced in my life from a garage. They have now had my car for 3 weeks and they still don't know what's wrong with it, I have phoned them several times every day for progress update only to be told they will call me back in ten minutes...................no call backs. Promised a courtesy car for my trouble, no courtesy car, no call back. I am at the point of telling them to keep the car, will certainly be reporting them to Trading Standards, avoid this place like the plague. Ford dealership equivalent of Kwik Fit and that's as bad as I can say............raging!! Just finally had a call back quoting £2,000 + to get a Ford Fusion started, you think maybe garage read my review? Trading Standards next call PS I only gave them one star as that's the minimum you can give, would have given nil
