Really nice local business, with high quality food and standards of cleanliness. All food is made to order. Fell in love with the Club Sandwich and air fry chips ???? and the breakfast is good too. Since inputting the partitions personally I think it’s improved the experience due to more privacy. 100% Worth a visit.

Wow, what a proper little hidden gem. Great food, amazing choice of drinks, superb service, and on top of that good prices too. If you want an ambience evening, and you're not in a hurry, this is a super place to check out. Will definitely be going again. Hidden gem. I know, I said that already :-)

A superb Mother's day afternoon tea at cafe Acacia!
There were 8 of us in our party, including three old folks and three young children. Everyone was catered for down to a mug for Grandad's tea and painting activities for the children.
The table was beautifully presented with vintage crockery and the quantity and quality of food was outstanding. We were served a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps and other savoury bites. My husband chose the gentleman's afternoon tea which came with a generous serving of cheeses and crackers. There was a selection of cakes, biscuits meringues and fruit, which went down especially well with the children. Not forgetting the pinnacle of every afternoon tea, delicious scones with cream and jam! Because the cafe is fully licensed, I even managed a sneaky glass of prosecco. Perfect! Before we left there was even a vase of flowers for each of the mummies to take away too.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and very patient with our three boisterous boys and very particular grandad!
I can thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea at Cafe Acacia for any special occasion, it certainly made my Mother's day!

Disheartened and Inconsistent
We have tried to ring every day to place an order too collect due to the industry we work in, and cannot get through, it just rings and beeps and disconnects.
Brilliant customer service to begin with, and after the orders we will not be returning again.
A group of three to four, and we have eaten for three days in a row. (Spending a minimum of £19.00 per day)
(Two jackets / two panini’s)
The waiting time has been over half an hour each time, which is ridiculous.
Orders have been written down, and due to allergies, we were specific and they even still managed to mess it up!
Ordered plain tuna (there’s a diary intolerance and we got Mayo, which contains dairy) GREAT.
Jacket potatoes have been hard and not cooked thoroughly on two occasions.
Panini not toasted and fillings all over the place and not toasted.
A waste of money and food.
It’s such a shame as it was absolutely Devine previously, prior to lockdown, and it seems to be going down hill.

Excellent vegetarian breakfast with a cappuccino, more than enough, a very nice Ambience very clean and tidy, a very good choice of background music. My wife had the full English breakfast and it looked amazing and tasted great.

This cafe/bistro is real find. An oasis in a desert of mediocre restaurants and takeaway/fast food outlets. From the luxurious decor to the range of food and drinks this will be a place I will be going to on a regular basis. The staff are so friendly and professional. You must give it a visit.

We've just finished breakfast. Eggs Benedict..absolutely delicious..with a spinach garnish, so a bit of Florentine as well!! Highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere and good food.

Went this morning for tea and a bacon cob with my friend. When we walked in there was one other person in, who soon left.
The table we sat at had crumbs all over the table, which I scooped up into my hand, the lady came across with a napkin to put the crumbs in
The tea was average, wasn't very strong was drinkable I guess, only had one cup out of the pot for two people and neither of us finished that
The bacon sandwich, well we've had better, the only decent thing about it was the bread was nice and fresh, the bacon was very fatty wasn't even warm, so I'm not sure how this was 'warmed' up as it certainly wasn't cooked from fresh.
Two ladies arrived whilst we were there and it took ages for them to be served as the lady was on the phone, had been since we were there. I would say 'customer service' should be paramount and personnel phone calls can wait, they must of waited at least 5 minutes for their drink
Very disappointed, use to be a lovely cafe, certainly will not be going there again

Very dissapointed ordered gamon egg And hand cut chips but when it came the ham was the cheap waferthing wasn't nice didn't eat it dident seam that bothered about it it's a nice place shame the food was not woundent go back

My Husband + I found Cafe Acacia for the 1st time yesterday and we were very impressed, it is possibly the only place that I know that caterers for people at Slimming clubs. I was amazed that they can do fat free air fried chips on request ( there’s a 20-25 min wait while they cook them fresh, which we didn’t mind as we sat with a huge pot of tea while we waited) they can also use frylight + weigh out the extras like cheese etc on request. I had a Greek salad minus the olives + shared some air fried chips with my Husband + he said that it was the best Club sandwich that he had ever had. I have shared the cafe name and photos etc with our Slimming club page on Facebook. I don’t usually go to Loughborough that often as I live in Wigston, Leicester, but I will go more often now that I know I can get a lovely lunch without costing me a lot of syns.

Our food took quite a while to arrive, despite the cafe not being very busy. Lots of laughter from staff in the kitchen, mainly young staff members.
The panini I had was "OK" but nothing great, I have had a better experience at Baobab cafe.
Dusty and visible cobwebs suggest a lack of care for the premises despite the nice tables/chairs and other fancy furnishings.
I would be hesitant returning again after this experience.
