Lovely little tearoom in the centre of Loughborough. Food and service were excellent. Lunch menu is extensive and all dishes are reasonable priced. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful afternoon tea..and lovely pleasant staff...very nice little roasted vegetable tart instead of the pork pie as I requested no meat...although my husband throughly enjoyed his pork pie..
Also do a very nice breakfast..look forward to returning after lockdown.

We walked in on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, sign said “please take a seat” so we did. We waited for a good 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order, whilst staff would sooner clear tables thank take our order. We were only acknowledged when we got up to walk out. We Will NOT be revisiting this place again, such a shame as I like to support local businesses.

Thank you very much. What a lovely place, the food was delicious, the service was excellent. I reunited with my Aunty after 10 years and we were able to talk the day away. I think it's great that the tables are a decent distance apart so people are able to hear themselves speak. Will definitely be back soon

Baxter's is an authentic tea room and great meeting place. As a regular customer I can thoroughly recommend it for the superb, inexpensive breakfasts, tasty toasties, seasonal tarts and gorgeous homemade cakes as well as various drinks. This quaint tearoom with its subtle retro background music and matching decor has super friendly staff too. I am now on first name terms and even my dog is served with a bowl of water!
My birthday afternoon tea in the pretty room upstairs was plentiful and delicious complete with a card signed by the staff. We were also given boxes to take home the cakes which we were too full to eat.
If you haven't time to soak up the relaxing atmosphere over a leisurely meal then the takeaway meal deal is good value and just as tasty. What are you waiting for?

I had a bit of time to kill. So I went in for a coffee and some food. The food was amazing. The staff could not of been more fantastic.they had a bit smile. When they seen. Me as I not been in. For a while. As I have not been well. But they made me feel so welcome

Popped in here as the kids and I were looking for somewhere different to eat lunch. Everything was fantastic. The environment was so nice, relaxing and peaceful. The tables were spaced out really well and not crammed together like most places you go to. The staff we really friendly and efficient. I was so impressed that the next time we were in Loughborough I took the kids and husband back... The staff actually remembered us after only that first visit too! The food was really good, importantly. I only wished they sold masala chai lattes but that is not a very common drink I suppose :)

Was very busy when we got there, had to wait a little bit. I'm guessing this is to half term, would recommend booking a table, but other than that friendly staff great atmosphere great food and cakes.
