What an amazing cafe. We went to Loughborough especially for the cafe and we weren't disappointed. We're a tricky family to feed - including vegans and coeliacs - but there was so much to choose from. Such a relief finding gluten free food made by people who understand cross contamination issues. The fact its so reasonably priced is just a bonus. The owners couldn't be more welcoming and even bought the dog out some treats. Wish we lived closer xxx

Great cafe, we used to really enjoy going in there (in the days when we could go to a cafe!) So glad they do deliveries now that we can't go there as their food is great. My only issue is that they don't open earlier! ????

absolutely disgusted with their customer service, I paid £7.00 something for their breakfast, it came with no egg, it was cold and the bacon wasn't very nice, you may think I'm sounding pathetic but when you pay over £7.00 for a breakfast I should expect to receive a good one atleast and with no items missing.
I had rang the restaurant to say that I had received no egg or beans, her customer service was very poor, swearing down the phone to me, saying that I was shouting at her when I wasn't. and to top it off she put the phone down on me so I had then rang back and spoken to the manager and he was exactly the same! I'm so shocked and I've never had this level of customer service in my life and I will not be going there again! It also seems that in some of the reviews when people go to complain about their issue they seem to get on the defensive side which they did exact same to me.
just to note, my partner had an omelette which involves egg, she told me she forgotten to put the egg on the breakfast. how hard can that be? I ended cooking myself 2 eggs and took me 2 minutes.
really not happy with this place at all, they have lost mine and my partners custom.
So rude, they don't deserve such a business!

I've always loved this place. Even better since it moved, as there's much more space.
And despite how popular this place is, the staff always seem to remember even the most little details customers sometimes have. That sense of familiarity is rare these days.

as I live and work in and around Loughborough I often visit Baobab, and I'm always pleased with the service, the food and the drinks. Earlier this week I visited with a friend and had the Italian Hot Chocolate, to which our server added a shot of espresso at my request. It was delicious! I would also recommend the green chai latte my friend had, as she very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming despite lockdown restrictions - I'm very glad they have remained open!

Friendly staff and great service... and the food is nice! .. Finally plenty of gluten free options if that's important to you!
Loved the Nacho's and dips... nice to see nachos that are still crispy / have not gone soggy.... Been let down with nachos from another local food takeaway constantly being wet and soggy... so this was an ice change to see them done properly.

I've been going to The Baobab Cafe for 18 years now and it still has the same amazing quality of food and staff. My daughter has been going since birth and all the staff are brilliant with her. I would definitely recommend here for a nice chilled out time

I ordered the scrambled egg with cream cheese and smoked salmon. The cream cheese was so cold that it had cooled the overcooked scrambled egg down to the point where there was just a cold, runny mess on the plate. I complained to the owner who was quite dismissive and just said that that was the way they served it. He did remove the dish from the bill, but I don't think I'll risk dining here again as there are so many better cafés in Lougborough.

My favourite cafe in Loughborough. If you're looking for gluten free, vegan and dairy free that's just as good as the originals then this is the place to go. Food is delicious, prices are highly competitive, and the staff are not only friendly but are happy to accommodate to your requirements. I almost don't want to review this place so I can keep it quiet and get a table in there when I go. 5 stars, would highly recommend.

Such a lovely cafe. Haven't been since the move and the extra space for tables gives it so much room! Staff were so friendly also and had a good sense of humour. Amazing range of hot drinks that were needed. Had lunch and the selection of food was vast with plenty of diet or life style options. Will definitely come again ????

Fantastic range of gluten free and vegan options as well as a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Service is superb too. The cappuccino is easily one of the best I've had in Loughborough and I've heard they even only use organic coffee. Will definitely be back, many times!

Such a lovely little cafe, they do amazing smoothies! The prices are really great and overall the place has a quirky atmosphere. Its great for families, couples, friend groups and even solo people. The menu (as seen on the big chalkboard when walking in) is pretty extensive, so it usually takes me a while to order as I'm indecisive. There's definitely something for everyone, as there are gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are flexible and if you don't want something in your meal its feasible to ask them to take things out. Lovely place.

My favourite local cafe! There are plenty of vegan options here which always taste really good. There's a good selection of alternative milks for your drinks and the staff are always friendly! It's nice and clean and is breastfeeding friendly too for mamas looking for a comfortable cafe to relax in with their baby

Post-COVID, still staying compliantly open despite a dearth of seating as per govt. guidelines. NHS Trace&Track QR posted, 2m distance maintained indoors & outside. Staff powering thru mask-induced lightheadedness/face-shielded like riot-police:D) Food\drink still top-notch, not mentioning service as that’s always been par excellence????????????????
