Good place for family recreation, escape from traffic crowd in the middle of the city. Its too crowded if you come here in national holiday.

The animals look so tired and depressed but the zoo was OK. It would be better if wasn't so crowded with people which come there only for piqnic and eating. Kids were crying and screaming everywhere. Horrible experience! Don't go on Sunday

Some nice pieces and explanations in English and French on Vietnam history. Not a must see but interesting. Small water puppets show is a cheaper alternative to the show in the Golden Dragon theatre.

Surprisingly good value for what this Zoo offers. We were able to see many animals and it also has a botanical garden and rides within. There are restaurants and plenty of things to do inside. Can easily spend a whole day there.

Bored, pacing animals. Lack of imitated natural habitat, unclean pens, whole place was dirty and cleaning and updating. Not sure if the rats were part of the exhibits! The Botanical gardens were OK.

I went for a stroll around the botanical gardens not realising the zoo was included. The zoo is incredibly upsetting. Tiny areas for large animals. The tigers were pacing back and forth in that awful way when they just look depressed.
I seriously wouldn’t visit this place - there are better gardens to see & hopefully, if visitors stop, the animals will be moved to better homes eventually.
