I popped into this shop to write a review for my blog so thought I'd share some of the pictures with you. The shop is located in Old Spitalfields Market. The interiors are lovely and they have a lot of stock. You will discover so many beautiful things that you will want to buy. It's a great place to buy a gift or something adorable for your home.

Just like Dele Shonibare on the 2/10/19 last year I had a similar experience at this shop. Last Saturday 03/10/20 from the moment we stepped in the shop every single movement was watched by the shop assistant, who at one point made it so clear that he was watching us, but not at any point did he approached us to offer any help. He made us feel so uncomfortable that we felt compelled to leave despite us being in the shop for a specific item. The worst was that while we were talking about leaving, a group of white friends arrived and guess what...the shop assistant not only said hello he welcome them all smiley. A complete opposite reaction to what I got. I've got to say that I frequently shop in Spitafield Market and it's full of multi diverse, multi cultural stall holders, foods, restaurants and so on but most importantly customers. Yes shoppers of all race and ages, so this kind of attitude cannot be left unchecked in such a great diverse community hotspot like Spitafield Market .

Love this place. The attention to details and layout of this place is impeccable. Would recommend anyone that is looking for something unique or something that has not been mass produced to come here. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable too.

I was browsing this shop with my mum on a day out for her birthday. I casually took a photo of a product on display. I often do this in shops leading up to Christmas or a birthday to help me collect gift ideas which nearly always leads me to buying my favourite items on another visit. Alas, on this occasion, the assistant took great offence and was incredibly confrontational in telling me I wasn't allowed to take photographs. I politely asked why, since there were no signs or other indication of this not being acceptable. The assistant looked at me and snobbishly said "well, it's not the done thing" to which I responded "oh.....okay". By this time several other customers had stopped to stare at me and I was now feeling as if I'd done something terrible! I only took one photo using my phone. I wasn't being obtrusive in any way and am a polite and honest person. I feel the assistant was far too confrontational and didn't offer a solid enough reason as to why I was not allowed to take a picture. All she ended up doing is losing mine and my mums custom as we didn't want to remain in the shop for very much longer and certainly didn't feel inclined to purchase anything. Neither of us will be going back. A quiet word in my ear or a sign near the door about the banning of photography would have been perfectly reasonable, but making a prospective customer feel embarrassed and confronted with no solid explanation is terrible for business.

Very nice store with unique items for home decoration, and all sorts of things for gifts. Very good selection of Xmas gifts, and one of the few stores in the market worth having a look, if you are looking for good quality and one of a kind products. Service is new and very helpful

I was refused to return a faulty product, so I would highly recommend not purchasing anything there unless you are prepared for them not providing any assistance if you face issues with the product. The service is not good, so have stopped shopping there (the same products are available in a lot of other stores both online and on the high street, which have much better service...).

I visited the shop last weekend when in London. It was an hidden gem behind a scaffolding site! Inside the shop has a great selection of quirky products as well as handmade and great quality treasures! A "must go" place if you are visiting East London!

I visited this store in Spitafields with my Fiancé and his parents on 10/2 window shopping for our upcoming wedding, and would like to express my disgust at the behaviour of two staff members in the store As we walked in 2 of your staff members located towards the front of the store whispered to one another and fixated their gaze at me afterwards. This was not discrete, hence why I noticed it but decided to ignore it & continued browsing. They then proceeded to split up, leaving their posts & followed me to the middle of the store standing opposite each other still eyes fixated on me. At this time I became very uncomfortable as I was being profiled by your staff and mentioned to my fiancé we had to leave. I point out the culprits to my fiancé and the one standing next to me smirked to the other girl. I was the only person of colour in the store at the time, so personally, I can only attain this to racist behaviour , where your staff members have been informed to follow people of colour around the store. Not that there is a way of finding a shoplifter but I surely didn't portray the look of a shop lifter to be profiled as one by these two staff members, other than the colour of my skin. I was so upset and disgusted by this. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a store like I did in your store, which is an absolute disgrace to your company as a whole and this needs to be known. On my way out of the store, I spoke with another staff member who was located at the main entrance of the store about my experience, who appeared to be apologetic and mentioned she didn't think it was intentional, but I of course told her it was obviously intentional, as it was made very apparent I was being followed. I'm not saying staff should not be alert and watchful of customers, but when one is being singled out because of the colour of their skin is just diabolical and disgusting. For anyone reading this, take note and read other customer reviews of the nasty, appalling, degrading service of the staff in this store, and think twice before going in.

I used to really like this store since I really like their products. Not anymore however due to the VERY rude behavior by their manager. She was incredibly rude and condescending to my 8-year old daughter who was holding a pencil she had picked for me to buy for her. Apparently children are not allowed to hold items which they intend to buy since my daughter was severely told off. When I told her she should not address my daughter and instead talk to me if she had a problem with my daughter's behavior, she replied that she wasn't able to do that because she hadn't seen me, even though I had been standing right next to my daughter the entire time! My daughter never once misbehaved, never ran, never shouted. All she did was hold a unicorn pencil which she wanted me to buy for her. Needless to say we left without buying a thing. If your store doesn't allow children, you should make that clear. Furthermore, managers should be good at dealing with people. She is not. She is condescending and rude. If she's unahppy with her job, then maybe she should work at a different field. Talking however to customers and most especially a child in the manner that she did is however absolutely unacceptable.

Awful customer service. Had a big argument with them when I wanted to return an item which was faulty. They initially refused a refund which would have been a violation of my consumer rights. I seriously recommend not buying from this place.

Lovely things however the customer service is terrible, in this case, the owner treates the customers with contempt. I was checking with my mum some umbrellas, after asking to one of the assistants and get her permission, as the place is small and we did not want to disturb other customers, we were outside, and we opened them outside, next to the door and not in front, for the same reason, the idea was not to disturb the rest of the people. Suddlenly, someone took me by my arm and told me to go inside, the way she spoke to me, and the bad manners she had ( taking me by the arm) was completly irreverent. So I asked her to do not do that, as I am not a thief. The reply was arrogant and I could not believe when she said the she cannot know if I was or not a thief. Obviusly, we did not buy the umbrellas and we will not go there any more. It seems the owner, who was so rude and unprofessinal, earns enough and she does not need to treat her customers as they deserve. By the way, there was a guy that was checking us, as it has to be.

This is the one shop in Spitalfields which I absolutely cannot resist coming into. It's full of quirky gifts and knick knacks that are amazing and that you really wish you had someone to buy for... or maybe that's just me. This shop sells British toys, kitchenware from Joseph and Black & Blum, and lots of cute tea towels and antique-y items that would look great in anyone's living room. There's a section for people who are fond of moustaches, and another for people who love bikes. There's even a whole table devoted to candles. While prices are reasonable, you, like me, may suffer from the sheer desire to purchase something here without quite knowing what you'll do with it. All in all, this is my go-to shop if I'm lacking in gift ideas and still want to look as if you give a crap.
