If the website only had clear, non contradictory and updated information,I wouldn't have to spend my days trying to reach EDD by phone..I start dialing at 8am and already, they are too busy to take the call.

If I can give less than 1 star, that is what I will give them. My husband called several times - no answer. I called several times - no answer. My husband logged in to the website SEVERAL TIMES and for authentication they asked him to take a picture of his driver’s license front and back and send it to them. The EDD website cannot even handle it. It keeps on going and going with that circle. Then my husband decided to go to EDD Canoga and do his task in person...only to find out that their office is close. The least that EDD can do is post a sign in their website with the correct schedule...say office close when they are close or better yet just be honest and tell people that they do not want to work.

Thomas was very helpful, he was nice and understood my problem, and immediately helped with a solution, i was worried initially as i was not able to reach anyone by calling the customer care, and luckily one day i was able to reach Thomas, who was the best. AVOID... You receive nothing but bad attitude... Those guys have their full time jobs with full benefits and of course well paid, but, they don’t do their job to help unemployed people who reach out to them for help...!! I don’t no what they think but, I can say only one thing: You’re not better than everyone else...

No one there to help you. Only person there was a security guard who told me there were some jobs posted on the bulletin board, I could look at. Don't waste your time coming here if you need help because you're on your own. This place is a joke.

I found that getting there at 9:30 I was greeted professionally and friendly and also receive the help I need to login and establish a new account something I was not able to do at home for over five months of frustration. I found people willing to guide me to the appropriate resources and like I said within a half an hour everything that I had set out to complete was done and everyone was very helpful.

This place is a joke. I wonder if any of the EDD employees would go thru this process to find work again. I highly doubt it. These people work here and have been brainwashed that all is well in the world. Wake up folks and be real with those whom you attempt to help everyday. And the entire system needs to change. I wonder can an EDD or government employee survive on minimum wage? That's about $15.00 dollars an hour today, can you live on that money? Prove it. Leave your job, find a job with lower wages and giddy up!

My visit got the job done, but I had to endure a lot of attitude to get it done. The lady at the information desk was nice enough. I then had to go to this bullpen of computer stations when one guy walked around and helped people out and that guy was nothing but attitude.

I wish there was an option for a 1/4 star only. Typical government. After spending at least 15-20 minutes listening to different recordings I was told to “press 0” to speak to a representative, so I press zero and I heard a message saying we are sorry that all the messaging system is full and they cannot take anymore messages or talk to anyone to please call later what the hell?

Yea, pretty much what everyone else has experienced, pathetic. I was going here on and off for 10 years, only some of the workers want to help you. Most just try to get rid of and/or discourage you b/c they don't know how to help with individuals specific needs due to lack of knowledge and/or just don't want to work, or continue to assist ppl still in need. This is a problem for obvious reasons, and is beyond frustrating for those in need of assistance and the underserved, regardless of being a beauocracy.

My experience going here on December 19,2018 was an eventful one. I made it to my appointment on time went to Orientation took notes down. Was going to fix my Caljobs resume when I felt uncomfortable by the people going to their Orientation and staff working for the Employment Development Department government job employees where unhelpful, judgmental, ungrateful, discriminatory and their behavior spoke louder then words. I will never trust going into another Worksource Employment Development Department for State of California again. When all they want to do is have a job be unhelpful and not do their job correctly. When they talk alot of nonsense, whisper under their breath just to keep their job. That's why employement rates for unemployment people are going up and the government system for EDD Employers are ALWAYS UP TO NO GOOD. FRAUD ACTIVITY GOING ON IN THIS OFFICE FOR THE WORKSOURCE FOR EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT CENTER FOR THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN CANOGA PARK, CALIFORNIA OFFICE. THATS A FACT AND I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANY OFFICE FOR EDD IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AGAIN AND IM PRETTY THIS IS HAPPENING IN ALL STATE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The interweb says its open, spent 1/4 tank of gas I don't have Im here and its closed, yeah!.. Came here because my business is failing to the pandemic... My account is locked and the number hangs up because apparently one person is available to answer phone call while the rest of the staff is getting paid time off. I don't know it seems like these people should come back to work or the staff needs to increase.
