It's B&Q, you probably already know what to expect. The staff are polite and the store is tidy but the smaller store doesn't carry a wide range of stock. If you look online for something you frequently have to travel to one of their bigger stores to collect. Couple that with their current lack of home delivery availability, it's a bit inconvenient. If you want something basic though it's great.

Always seem to get what you need here although I can't fully understand the rules with regards to the current situation on the staff not theoretically being able to help customers. Surely with the correct safety wear and distance this should be possible especially when a lot of the products are heavy and particularly since members of staff are walking around next to each other therefore making them able to lift things together.

At the moment, its queues, queues, queues.. they do not have the quantity of stock and so, variety, of the bigger stores, e.g. Notts etc.. I've been on numerous occasions do to locality, but they have not had the items I have needed.
A minority of the staff here have been less than inviting in their manner.

If you need timber they have a fine selection of nothing but broken and useless cuts. Mess everywhere so much that you can't even get down the timber aisles. Worst stocked b&q I've been to in years.

If you are looking for timber or anything cheap don't bother. I went into this B and Q Purley because its closer to me than wicks and it was a waste of time. They don't stock any boards of wood bigger than about 1m and even the small ones are much more expensive than their competitors.
