The cakes are excellent - traditional French-style patisserie. I tried a savoury pastry which was less good. But the off putting thing is the state of the sink behind the counter - not tiled and flaking paint. A quaint place but could do with a refurb!

A little diamond deli in the middle of Southfields. Best croissants and other pastries, best half-baguette sandwiches (just look at the weekday queue), fabulous individual desserts and a whole French load more.

The best place for a sandwich/baguette in Southfields. Loads of fresh fillings to choose from including salami, chicken and roast beef, all the cheeses and salad. Very reasonably priced. Go early to avoid the queue (before midday).

Horrible people behind the scene, company invited me for a 10 hour work trial on friday 22nd January, 6am -4pm, I arrived at 5.35am, just to be early in case the head chef arrives early, so they can show me around etc, so they dont have to do it during their time, possibly putting the business behind, however nobody turned up, I got on the bus at 6.15 am to go back home, as it was freezing cold and the bus stop is in front of the shop, and let's face it nobody wants to be walking around Wimbledon at the crack of dawn, I sent the area manager an email, with a picture of the shop shut, with the time and date on the picture just to show I arrived, I phone head office twice on friday, basically I got shrugged of and got told the area manager will call me back, it's now Monday 25th, and still nobody has contacted me, not only did I make the journey during a pandemic lockdown, possibly putting myself and who I live with at risk, to hopefully find employment so I can live better and be able to pay my bills, as the covid has put a terrible strain on my finances. I didnt get my opportunity, put myself at risk, but also wasted money on travelling, that I wont get back,which could of got spent on food or gas and electric. That's what kind of company it is. I dont like doing reviews, as it could tarnish a company's reputation, but I'm upset and have a family to support, and feel like I'm being punished for making an effort

Delightful little deli with superb french produce and reasonable prices. They have a wide assortment of baguette fillings - again very reasonably priced and good value. The establishment is clean and the staff have always been courteous. Amazing patisserie selection - my favourites are the raspberry tart and coffee eclair ????

If you want great tasting banquettes with a generous amount of ingredients including a reasonable price then this is the place to come.
This is very much a hidden gem!
Don't bother with a supermarket meal deal. Don't bother with those restaurants/cafés who try to posh up baquettes, this place smashes then out the park!

Getting lunch can be a slow experience, but it's definitely worth the wait. Great quality ingredients and really good prices for their baguettes. Plenty of excellent desserts too. Would recommend for a lunch visit.

Great baguettes, remind me of Algeria and the bread we eat there. Been looking all over London for this type of bread. Most “artisan” baguettes are tough and chewy, these are nice and pillowy on the inside and have nice crispy exterior.

The croissants here must be the best in London... this is a wonderful little place to pick up pastries for breakfast or lunch, or indeed to have a sandwich made up - they are superb and stuffed full of delicious ingredients! You just have to get there early to get the croissants as they go quickly!

This is the kind of little gem that London needs more of, it's an authentic slice of France in SW18. Very reasonable prices and good quality, honest food. The queues out of the door are no surprise... People with understanding will give it 5 stars. People who give 1 star reviews should probably go back to the big high-street chains that they came from... Keep going Chanteroy!

Let's face it. The place is not glamorous or spacious. But that does not matter. They provide the best croissants and pain au chocolate this side of the channel and this at an unbeatable price. I also strongly recommend the Quiches.
