its a small park with lots of homeless or drunk or addicts. the four stars are for the café there, its quite good. during the day, the park is like an oasis of calm in the city and somehow becomes full of young and old people taking a break from the city

Busy Victorian garden. In the centre of Brighton. Exquisite Victorian architecture. Inspired by the Taj Mahal. Not to be seen anywhere else in the world. Walls, ponds, carving inspired structures and Colorful plants. Overlooked, by the pavillion palace. It is a must see.

Always a lively atmosphere where groups of people gather to chat and enjoy the atmosphere. Safe for children... my grandson loves to watch the squirrels....

My meeting here would have been completely pleasant were it not for the electronically amplified busker duo who performed nearby. Café portions were generous and service good. But this is a public outdoor area.

We live in Brighton but come here for a bit most weekends. Often live classical music on Sunday afternoons, if not there will be an assortment of buskers. Be warned that the Seagulls here are extra predatory - one drew blood snatching a bacon sarnie from my daughter last week. You're also not allowed to have glass bottles or glasses in the park - wardens/security regularly payroll to check. Still the best place to picnic in town.

Lovely Green space, masses of flowers in the summer, lots of people relaxing and usually live music, and the backdrop is the wonderful, fantastical Brighton Pavilion. There is also good coffee from the Pavilion Cafe; all in all one of my favourite places in the world

Came here for the skating rink, which is around for a month or so around Christmas. I'm told it was good by those who skated. Rink has a bar for the non-skaters too.

It's a lovely place for a walk, although it's very small, the setting of the pavilion makes it very atmospheric

Although it's quite crowded, it's a nice place to have a relaxing time for yourself, laying on the grass, listening to the birds, reading a book. Loved it!

Went ice skating and other than how overpriced compared to other places, it was a highly enjoyable evening in a verry pretty setting.

Now this is one of those places everyone in Brighton knows about and makes use of during the summer months, I have had many a good chunk of the day taken up hanging with the kids in the gardens, a space that's safe and pretty.

Great for a sunny day. They shut a bit early and a bit too readily if the weather is dodgy. Nice calm atmosphere. Ask for the WiFi password.
