The actual building & park are great but, it's just strewn with litter. People literally have their lunch sat on the grass & leave all litter on the spot instead of walking to find a bin. Overall impression ends up being somewhere run down. Shame it's ruined by people who should know better.

Nice spot to chill in the shade if you don't want to lie on the pebbley beach. There are toilets and a cafe too which is handy.

My kind enjoyed playing inside the royal pavilion garden area. He was very keen to keep playing. It has quite big places for sitting & enjoy the view of Royal Pavilion.

The building was stunning and looked out of place in Brighton! There was a small grass area where you could sit and enjoy ice cream.

Some beautiful planting and elderly trees, views of the stunning Pavilion and Dome buildings. Squirrels so tame that they feed from your hands. Often atmospheric busking music but sadly overshadowed by overflowing garbage bins in the gardens. Lovely cafe with outside seating and good coffee.

Honestly couldn't find a better place to lie down in the grass (for free) under the lovely trees and shadow of the gorgeous pavilion. It wasn't at all crowded on a busy sunny Sunday. And it's just a short walk from the pier, please take your grandparents or family or partner. Good for some alone time.

Was early in morning, hardly anyone about , so I let my dog off the lead, as she has fun chasing squirrels, and was shouted at by some jobsworth to immediately put her back on for everyone's ( meaning the only other 3 people around - including himself) safety....we weren't even within 40 feet of anyone else, shame because it was such a peaceful lovely morning too.

Pretty gardens behind the Pavilion. There are always buskers who seem to play to a high standard, and there is a garden cafe which is very nice.

Went here with some of my friends. It was beautiful, architecture was wonderful. We didn't actually go inside though. A nice stop while we were exploring Brighton.

Magnificent views of the Pavillion Gardens, England. Nice plantations with flower gardens and lovely trees all over the place. Nice architecture of the Pavilion Gardens monument. The construction of the monument looks very contemporary in style

An absolute must any time of the year. Sit in the garden, enjoy the folly and with luck you'll even see the palace guards parading through. Bring a curry and a beer and the day is made.

Gardens sadly looking a lot more shabby than in years gone past. Crushed and trampled plants and shrubs looks like people have slept in the borders. It is a shame it has looked beautiful at this time of year before. Still a nice place to sit on the grass or get a coffee from the small kiosk on the west side of the gardens.

Love this place, lovely coffee and a gorgeous view of the pavillions gardens. Unfortunately they have an on going issue with mugging seagulls. I saw two people get their lunch stolen of their plates!

The spring flowers were in bloom. There were benches to sit and admire them. But it was too cold to do so when we were there.

A lovely open space in the middle of town, perfect for a picnic or to have a cup of tea and a cake from the cafe. Not forgetting the fact that you can look at the Royal Pavilion. There are often buskers to add to the atmosphere, as well.

Lovely quiet place in the middle of the city. The gardens are really well kept, usually a good quality of busker, and plenty of places to sit and eat your lunch

I went there for Ice Skating. My daughter really, really really, loved it. It is a bit on the expensive side. Paid about 25GBP for 40 minutes (1 adult and 1 kid). The skate ring is very crowed, compared to similar places. (However there is not much alternative in Brighton and overall it was an enjoyable experience)

Ups and downs here... The ups are the great history, buildings and gardens. Downs are the drunks, groups of kids and hundreds of pigeons with their accompanying mess. That said it is nice to walk around or just walk though to get to the seafront from the north Lanes.
