We love Baguette Deli! It has become our go to for coffee and their food is also amazing and very affordable. The owner is so friendly and welcoming and the other staff is amazing as well! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! The owner is so friendly the coffees are so well priced and the croissants are the best we've had. We recently moved to the area and with lockdown now visit every day. It doesn't look like much from the outside but would highly recommend. We also ordered the valentines day meal (for home) and it was absolutely delicious!

Amazing service, good price for the area! Lovely food! First time here, owner and staff beyond delightful! My new go to for coffee and lunch when in the area! Would have taken a photo but looked so good I ate it before I could - aha - 100% would recommend if you are a fan of delicious baguettes and nice coffee with fabulous service and lots of french treats! We were walking around this area and wanted to use a bathroom and drink something, so we ended up in this small place.
We clearly regretted it, they are very rude and overall it was a bad experience. One of us wanted to use the toilet, and they dont even have toilet in this place!
So in the end we had coffee and overpriced croissant. We did not feel welcome in this rather shabby cafe.
I can only agree with all the other negative ratings. I was shocked to see that to be a new place, there are many other people unhappy with this small coffee shop, which, unfortunately, I only saw in hindsight.
Now, I clearly know that the positive reviews are from friends...

Dropped by here on my way to work, the shop caught my eye because of the bright colour of the shop exterior.
However after ordering my baguette, which besides to be really expensive in relation to the size, was totally rotten. 1 hour later I started to feel really bad and I couldn't stop vomiting all night. I discussed this situation with my doctor and he assured me that the problem in my stomach was due to something that I ate.
Not a very friendly welcome at all and I will not be returning unless they change the quality of the food or at least, check if the food is off. These kinds of restaurants that are just opened need an official inspection before they start to sell food to the customer.
By the way, there is no toilet inside.

I dont usually check the money that the waitress or the owner of a restaurant give me back when I pay the bill but the day that I visited this restaurant I did it, and...surprise! He gave me back 2 pounds less!
I was thinking that was a mistake that can happen to everyone, but I came back to this local another day and again the same...!!!
Be really carefull here and always check your money in this local!!! I guess that they try to do this with all the costumer that they can and also with the supplier...
Don't play with the money....!!

As a french and French boulangerie lover , discovering this little café was a really good thing????, i first tried the baguette and it was really good.
Then i came back few Times, ate the croque Monsieur and to be honest it was the best i ever tried (take it , you cannot be disapointed).
The homemade pastry are also good
It's not the place to be but the place to eat ????????????????.
And thanks to the owner for his hospality!!

DOGGY place, NO TOILET, no sanitizer, I had to ask twice the receipt with the VAT!!
On top of that..
1.My breakfast was the veg baguette and a flat white and for my partner also the same.
When i asked can i have a spoon they looked at me strange.
2.Our meal came to 30 quid. After much faffing around, he flashed the bill in front of me, and immediately started typing the amount into the card reader. I wanted to check the bill was correct, and tried to take it from his hand but he retained it, it’s finger covering the items. I then had to say I wanted to check it. He appeared flustered, and I found two items had been added to it , almost doubling the size of our bill! this was an attempt to overcharge us.
Absolutely awful place. Never go. Walk on by.
3.Im miffed at the french that was my first mistake.
Worst decision ive ever made.

I’ve been here for a brunch and had a table for two , we place our order and everything seems to be fine , then food arrived , almost everything was cold, nobody came to check if we were fine and we eat our food, the waitress didn’t seems to be really interested anyway, when we finished I catched a waitress and explained the situation, she talk to the manager but she wasn’t able to do anything because we eated the food and was too late, of course nobody didn’t even came to take care and check that everything was ok, so basically was my fault. At the end we paid for what we had and we left without even speak to the manager that she’s even approached the table to apologise for the inconvenience.

Your staff is terrible! Never again. If you don't to ruin your day did no go there! I was waiting for coffee for 40 min! And 2 times they forgot about my coffe. Also staff start to be very rude when we ask to split the bill!

Big Thumbs up for the French Baguette Deli, coffee is the best of the street and the croque monsieur are delicious and cheap. These are made with fresh products and homemade Béchamel, which for a French person like me is very important. The kids like to sneak a little Carambar too near the till ;) Reading angry people comments is fascinating as it looks like the Deli ruined their entire life whilst they just had a coffee or a quick meal. Think about how much work it takes to open a little place like this on the street where it is much needed. Take the time to talk to the owner who is very nice and passionated about good food. If we don't want another Costa or Starbucks, we should support small independent businesses and yeah some days they might struggle like we all do sometimes at work ! Bon Courage
