Scottish owned, Swedish design-driven coffee shop and more. First opening in London, after a string north of the border. The concept is simple: Drinking good coffee while sitting in beautiful chairs is double the enjoyment. Multiply that again with one of Soderberg's excellent sandwiches. The Umlaut is an added bonus.

Great spot for a fika (coffee break) with visiting Swedes. Mazarin (almond tart with icing) was delicious and the americanos were robust and strong. Cardamom and cinnamon buns fine but not life-changing. Cute space with lots of seating.

Swedish cafe on Berwick Street Soho. Good selection of bread, pastries and coffee. All nicely presented be on the slightly on the dear side. Open sandwiches are lovely and tasty all freshly made. Seating on ground floor and basement. Professional and friendly staff. However, my mocha was a little cold.

Really comfy coffe shop to work at. Very smooth coffee! The little alcoves in the basement are very cute! Something out of Mos Eisley Cantina!

A bit of Edinburgh in London! Love that this beautiful Scandinavian cafe from Scotland has landed in London. The space is beautiful, with hygge nooks downstairs, and the service is friendly. The coffee is superb and the cinnamon buns are delicious and smell divine! Must go if you're in Soho

Good coffee and food and open till late. Downstairs is a great space, there aren’t lots of seats but it’s really nicely designed the staff are friendly and it’s a good place to grab a drink and read or catch up with friends

I'll let you appreciate the photo and you'll let me know if I'll ever go back there. (£9 for this "open sandwich" (aka a single toast with three slices of halloumi),

Hands down the best spot in the bustling soho! Beautiful oat flat white and really good toasts, even just eaten plain with butter! Though it could have came with some preserves for the price :) Really nice space, my first time here and I’m in love already!

This is a great spot in the heart of the city to have some nice bites whilst in a meeting or socializing. Great, chilled vibes in a warm and minimalist set up. Two levels of space - *make a reservation if you wanna make sure you get the ourdoors light though. I super recommend!

Only tried the cardamom bun from here, and it was great. Need to return to try some of the other treats on offerfrom this newly opened Swedish bakery.

Terrific new Swedish café/bakery in heart of Soho. Scandi ambience. Historic sourdough. Great coffee. Excellent menu. Cheerful staff happy to be working here. There is a very cool vibe. Always an excellent signal. Food is also very, very good and the menu very original, at least to those of us previously unacquainted with modern Swedish grub, or perhaps these are canny Scots, pretending to be Swedes. It’s a mystery. Already established in Edinburgh, first shop in London. Nothing in Sweden, apparently.

Mixed feeling about this place.. I tried the sharing platters and some cocktails and I can't say that they weren't nice but was it worth the price on the menu? I don't think so because they were basically mini sandwich bites and each one was £3.5, so not sure if I would go again and order them. The vibe was nice though and the booths downstairs were really cute...

A nice sweet spot for some respite from the busyness down town. Lovely coffee (amazing flat white!) and traditional cinnamon buns, all served with a genuine smile.

Among all the Swedish themed cafes in London, Söderberg undoubtedly offers the coffee at the same level to honour its baked goods. Located in one of the most crowded neighbourhood, this cafe surprisingly reserves quite a generous seating space. The interior is indeed pretty Swedish, cozy and simple. I had a very good flat white here, rich in dry and simple aroma, rounded texture and just the right amount of milk, which absolutely went really well with the cardamom bun. The staff were laid-back and friendly and helpful, definitely a place I will come back to in the near future since it also opens late.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. This was my first trip to London since I married my husband George and we were made to feel very welcome. Clean rooms, soft towels and delicious toblerone on our pillows! Yum! Will stay again

Loved this place. It was like stepping into a Swedish living room in the 60's. Great food and lovely staff. Breakfast tray was very fresh and good value for money. We will come back.

Delicious coffee and pastries (get the cinnamon bun!). The only downside is that it's quite expensive, especially compared to similar places not too far from here. Still, a cozy and tasty stopover for the occasional treat!

Great place to work from if you don't mind some background noise. The WiFi is a bit spotty in the basement, but it has some great work spots that are a bit more secluded at the back. Loved the egg on sourdough toast with avocado, crispy kale and creme fraiche. The coffee is good too!

Granola came in deep glass with little yoghurt on top. After eating top bit you are left with dry bottom and have no choice but leave it behind. Large breakfast had a unimaginatively squandered pile of rocket in one corner. Most of whole fruits like grapes, were unwashed. Customer service was good from staff as a saving grace. Good breakfast for Instagram photos only.

Great environment if you’re looking for a place to get some work done. They have a decent selection of rolls, tarts, coffee and tea. Free wifi and bright interior.

A very popular spot in Soho for a coffee. I find the prices a bit steep, though this is a bit of a local market trend, so it's perhaps unfair to single out Söderberg. A reasonable amount of seating space with a downstairs area, but it's still not uncommon to show up and find it completely full. Reservations are accepted.

I had the Bellini and the mule and they were both absolutely to die for! Our waiter was Jake and he was just fantastic. He was polite, friendly, and his open and warm disposition made sure we will be back. Not to mention he carried our cocktails down the stairs like a dream!

Fantastic brunch here - hits all the spots, great coffee, comfy environment, friendly service and DELICIOUS food, both savoury and the famous buns. Had a large group and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and made the experience easy and enjoyable - would recommend for a fun event or just a quick coffee and pastry.

We went here for Fika and it was perfect. A great selection of drinks and stuff for those who are lactose challenged. Plus delicious buns, pastries and sandwiches. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt very comfortable catching up chatting. At no point did we feel rushed or like we had to leave.

My wife and I came in for a coffee pick-me-up and ended staying most of Saturday night. The coffee is fab, cocktails marvellous and the wine that was recommended was awesome. The selection is small but the quality is great. Thanks to Jake.

Spent most of a Sunday here working away on my laptop and I loved it. Good coffee, very nice staff and their cinnamon buns really are GOOD. Decently priced. £9.10 for an americano, an oat latte and a cinnamon bun. Good for a central London café. Gentlemen's and ladies' rooms are downstairs and quite clean. Sufficient outlets for mobile workers. Seats on the side each has an outlet, but space is quite compact for me personally. A downside (not really, more of a note for you) to me was that as I sat at the communal table upstairs and I was drawing. That table wasn't the most stable thing to draw on as it often was quite shaky as people moved. Would definitely go back and try their pastries!
