We were tipped off about this place by our son. He said it was the best nursery he had found that was in central London. We walked there and found the array of plants impressive, as well as the pots. Staff were incredibly helpful, and the delivery charges are low. A special bonus is that there is a cat in residence!

What a lovely find on a sunny afternoon! A beautiful selection of lush and flowering plants with some great ornamental pieces too (loved the gorilla! And the sheep). The gardener and the cat were pleasant and let us wander about to our heart's content even after closing when the gate was shut. He - the gardener, not the cat - let us know how to escape when we were ready. Although we really could have stayed much, much longer..

Rude and unhelpful ! I bought two indoor plants for nearly 200£ and two weeks later went back for advice because one of the plants had developed spots on the leaves. I was referred to a gentleman who could not bother to stand still to talk to me, let alone give any serious advice ! I had to follow him around and keep insisting to finally get the golden phrase out of him : < it is usually a watering problem > ! Never again !!!

A terribly unprofessional nursery. Completely dishonest with their pricing. The gardeners have no qualifications/experience whatsoever. Go to the Chelsea Gardner instead - they are more helpful.

Super rude owner. Terrible experience, he was extremely rude and unpleasant. The nursery has a good variety and is nice, but I will no go back nor recommend anyone does as he completely spoils the whole experience. No customer care skills at all, it was like he was making me a favour by selling me his stock. Avoid, there are plenty of other nice nurseries with nice people working there!

No need to brave traffic and drive to the outskirts of London when there is a nicely stocked garden centre right in Chelsea. Plants, seeds, pots, compost.

We had a great experience in this Garden Nursery in Chelsea. They have a great variety of plants and trees. We were looking for outdoor trees and plants, we already have a few in mind and the assistant lady help us to make the decision. She knows quite a lot and her advice was really helpful. We ended up buying a camelia and a bay tree (laurus nobilis) plus all the compost, feeding seeds, gardening gloves, etc. Highly recommended.

Great selection. Lovely girl advised on what to buy as I've never gardened before. Delighted with my purchases.

Firstly, i just came here to see if anyone else had a horrible/weird experience. I went in with some pics of a very sad plant, (my feeling was i'd over fertilised) looking for another pair of eyes, possibly some advise, to see if there was anything i could do to mitigate. The owner straight off started in an aggressive tone, which just escalated. A mixture of aggression, contempt and dismissiveness. It was quite something! He wasn't interested in asking me questions. The plant i showed him wasn't what i said it was (like i don't know what plant i own). The way he was taking to me was pushing me towards an argument (and who wants that ??). It was beyond being a bit brusque (which i'm big enough to deal with). I read another review about how he swept muddy water towards a lady wearing white canvas shoes, and it wasn't all that strange to read! I could totally see that happening. There was a lovey girl who stepped in and tried to help me, (thank you if you're reading this). I doubt he cares about these sort of reviews, he knows people will still go in, as people love plants. But just a warning, stay clear of the owner!

So we have a townhouse in Kensington and we wanted to get a full garden worth of plants… Most of which we bought at the Anytown USA/England shop of homebase, just a couple particulars (topiaires and ivy we couldn’t find elsewhere), we bought from near our old neighborhood, the worlds end nursery in “Chelsea” (it isn’t really Chelsea but basically Fulham). Of all of the plants we purchased (bear in mind that some of them were literally £2 on discount at homebase), the only plants that died within days (or dead upon arrival/purchase), were the expensive plants we bought from the worlds end nursery - the topiaries and Ivy, which should be much more resilient than plants that are more seasonal. We voiced our concerns about this and sent many photographs to them and they didn’t care. A year later, we have since purchased topiaries off the Internet, and they are gorgeous and thriving, whereas our topiaries and basic climbing ivy purchased from the worlds end were dead upon arrival (literally within a week of purchase, completely dead). They had said how maybe we were overwatering, or under watering, if you want to say that, fine, but all of the seasonal plants are living just fine with the same amount of watering, even now, a year later (as are the current topiaries). It’s pretty crazy if you can say your sensitive and seasonal plants from homebase are better than the the resilient year round from the £££ Worlds end market ????????‍♀️????

A lovely but well stocked garden centre. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have what you are looking for they will try and get it for you. If you don't know what you need they will try and help. It is quite rustic, but that's its appeal. My granddaughter loves running around it, as it's like a secret garden.

This was without a doubt the worst experience I have had shopping for a long time. I went with my brother to buy a variety of indoor plants. We planned to buy quite a few and therefore to spend a decent amount of money. As we walked in NOT ONE of the many staff greeted us. We wondered around on our own for a bit while they pushed past us moving plants and watering, etc. NO ONE offered to help or asked us if we needed any assistance. Eventually I approached a male staff member to ask if there was a trolley we could use to load up the plants and if he could help me identify one of the plants I was after. He mockingly told me there were no trolleys and I could just carry them to the counter myself. He did not offer to help me with this. He quickly and dismissively pointed to the plant I asked about and then walked off offering no more help. To my absolute disbelief, he then picked up the broom with which he had been sweeping a load of muddy water AND AGGRESSIVELY STARTED SWEEPING AND PUSHING ALL THE MUDDY WATER TOWARDS ME as I stood trying to choose a plant in my white canvas shoes. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND it. I looked at him in shock after moving away and asked if they were not yet open, and should we come back later. He snapped that they were open, and continued to sweep. I feel genuinely outraged by this customer service- we, of course, walked out after that and shall be taking our business else where. We have no idea what we could have done to deserve such treatment from these people.

Firstly, if you're going to buy plants for your garden or home, which is basically a medium to long term investment, then you may as well go to the neighbouring areas outside Chelsea to avoid the absurd overpricing that's aimed at the local millionaires who will buy anything regardless (expect £20-50 for a little potted plant or inexpensively made ornament, and easily several hundred £ for anything bigger). Also, while picking up a friend who worked there I met the man who is the owner of the place, and after a small disagreement with him over where I waited while my friend finished her shift, he quickly revealed himself to be aggressively argumentative and pretty exceptionally rude! Knowing the general staff there on a 1st hand basis, it's general knowledge among them that he's really a nasty piece of work! At best I'd recommend an idle wander through the centre if just to appreciate the greenery...
