NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS IN WINTER MONTHS.
Very disappointed I couldn't visit today, garden centres are one of the few things that can partially cure pandemic blues. There were three other people that tried to get in within the span of 2 minutes, all disappointed. Opening hours need to be updated on Google Maps!

Rassells of Kensington surrounds you with beauty and peace. From indoor to outdoor plants, for large and tiny gardens, sunny or shady, they are all arranged enticingly They offer every garden need, including an extensive array of indoor and outdoor containers. The staff work in the background, always ready to give good advice for a particular garden's condition. I look forward to going to Rassells, and I reflect on my previous visits as happy memories.

Friendly helpful staff, especially outside in the garden. I was looking for a specific plant and they didn't have it but went above and beyond to get for me and I was so grateful. They are also very reasonably price. Great place. Highly recommend.

I really like this nursery, lots of interesting plants at Kensington prices. I went in there today, purchased 4 plants and the lady who served me managed to not exchange one pleasantry with me, seemed more interested in meeting up with someone for a drink later. I think the CS leaves much to be desired

So rude, trying to obtain advice from the staff is worse than trying to extract someone’s teeth with a pair of pliers.
Back to W6 Garden Centre. Staff there are actually helpful and happy to give advice.

It's a great place, particularly considering its central location; the shop staff are typically very helpful too. However, in the 'garden centre' at the back, staff can be breathtakingly dismissive - the last time (and it's not the first), I really felt I shouldn't have bothered them!

About 3 weeks ago i needed to have an orchid re potted since the plant was in distress...I called the shop before making the journey there.. to make sure they could help and did offer The service.
The young man over the phone was helpful and told me it would be 20 pounds;
....but when I got there I spoke to a young lady and she was not very helpful and looked kind of bothered that I was asking so many questions about their service and re potting.
Cut the story short she said she was not going to repot it because re potting a sick orchid was too specific/complicated and to make it worst she did not even offer to have a look at my orchid that I brougt all the way there!
I was so upset i left without saying goodbye.
I watched a couple of videos in you tube and did it my self !

I have lived in Kensington & Chelsea for 35 years. And this place always gives me rhat withnail moment of snobbishness. That I will never be excepted in the area as an equal. But luckily I'm only there to buy some plants or things I need for my garden so don't hang around for long.

It's a LOVE AND HATE relationship with this place .... The variety of plants is good and they seem to be quite knowledgeable but the service is increadibly lacking.
You always feel like they are doing you a favour in answering your questions or helping you with your purchase. Really bad vibe in the staff, they are not helpful at all!!!!
