Food was tasty. Price was slightly steep, but understandable given its location. Nice ambience. Very busy on weekends so booking recommended.

Waiting for an answer! :( I wrote to their Instagram because the customer service wasn’t on point as usual. I left without finishing my sweet treat before work. I waited to be served, then I asked to have a seat, then I asked to return to the cake bar and still I wasn’t asked for my order. I felt like begging for a cake and coffee. Luckily, Paddington is embracing more high quality coffee shops.

Rude and upsetting (again) I live close by and love this place. It's wonderful. The prob is they may result really irritating. It just happened again a few minutes ago: you get there and the place results empty enough - but they tell you that it's fully booked. Or they give you a table and you're told you have only 30' before they have to give a table to another booked guest. Reality is... if you stay there at any time, you'll see they keep having a number of empty tables, all the time. Today I was given "the last available table", with a friend. Fair enough. Inside the place, more than 50% of the seats where empty. And staid empty! After a 20min another friend of mine arrived and we asked for an additional chair to be added to our table. We were told they had no chairs available! I counted more than 30 empty chairs, along unoccupied tables! I tried to complain with the chief waiter (who very promptly came with the card machine to collect our bill) and she treated us in a very rude way, almost aggressively asking me "do you want to see our reservation list?". I wonder why a nice place like this keeps running with this unfriendly, rude attitude. Unfortunately this is not the first time, to me. Probably clients (including me) are desperate enough for a nice place in town to accept anything...?

Always a brilliant place to buy flowers and enjoy a meal. Not the cheapest place in the world but the location is worth it.

Hideously expensive but very good variety for a small garden center. Upscale horticultural supplies. Very pretty place with knowledgeable staff, and cute cafe popular with yummymummies and infants. Quite "Parisian" in their attitude inside the cafe, in contrast with the garden center staff who are charming. Worth exploring if price isn't an issue.

Dreadful café experience. Slow to seat, waited ages to be offered a drink. Food was substandard, tough steak, fish pie scalding hot on the surface with semi frozen pieces of fish in the base. Only positive was offer of 20% reduction and removal of service charge after request. The nursery itself with regards to plants seemed good but whole experience spoilt.

Virtually an institution, Clifton Nurseries is a beautiful hidden gem in Maida Vale London. There is a large selection of plants, shrubs, flowers, trees etc. Super helpful advice on hand and a delightful and sophisticated cafe. Under new ownership in 2016, a fantastic "Jane Means" shop recently opened within the garden centre. It's a bright and cheerful treasure filled with cards, gift wrap, ribbon and lots of small gifts and other bits and pieces.

Great little place to get breakfast or fresh juice. The entrance is hard to find and you get in a very nice garden centre. I recommend going during the warmer months though.

It's not random that it this was one of the places in Woody Allen's film "You'll meet a tall, dark stranger": it's one of the most well hidden secrets of West London. You should know it to go, this is a cafe in Clifton Garden's nurseries- you're in the middle of a garden sipping your coffee and eating your freshly made vegetable soup. Just magical.

One of the nicest places for a girlie catch-up. The cafe is beautiful, you're surrounded by nature in central London. The food offerings are delicious.

Great service and healthy plants with a lot of variety. They offered to deliver to South Kensington for a very reasonable charge of just £15. You can grab a nice meal at the Cafe as well.

Disappointed with the food. The salad I ordered was insipid and it wasn't worth the price. I asked the waitress to have more consistency in the supposed lunch salad as they put mostly leaves, she came back with it and couple of poor beetroots added to it. Purely a joke to a customer..Is a nice venue though, but I would recommend it only for a tea or coffee.
