One of my favourite places in Maida Vale. The restaurant has a nice, simple menu full of healthy dishes and for dessert you can chose one of many of their freshly baked cakes. They have several cow’s milk alternatives which is great for a nice coffee. Service is friendly, usually quick and attentive unless they’re very busy, which is understandable. The restaurant interior is rustic, airy and bright, a nice space for a family meal, catch up with a friend or even a day date. Nurseries have a long and interesting history, is laid out beautifully and adorned with a fantastic selection of plants available for purchase.

A peaceful place to visit and relax.
They have a good variety of gardening supplies and plants that you can purchase. Good customer service and very knowledgeable staff.
They make a real effort for each season. Spring picture was a promo and was given free!

Wow so many different varieties of plants! I know nothing about horticulture, but Clifton Nurseries is a very nice place to start and getting going if like me you're looking to get indoor and outdoor plants. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. And you will be tempted to buy the mini lemon tree's they have, who wouldn't want one?!

Such a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. The garden centre is quite small and feel a bit claustrophobic at times when it really busy but this is not a problem. I.m from South Africa where everything is BIG.
There's a lovely restaurant to eat in. I didn't, but it looked like a place I would like to go to for Sunday Brunch with friends.
There's a gift section at the checkout area with really Cool little gifts and some gardening bits and bobs for those who might have a bulky wallet. The garden centre is a little more pricey than average, however I have to add that the quality of plants there are quite high. All the plants looked healthy and freshly watered and arranged with care.
Even if you don't buy anything, this little gem is worth a visit.

Love this inspiring local nursery. The displays are fab and the staff are wonderful. Great indoor plants and pots as well as bedding & outdoor plants, shrubs & trees. Indoor plants / pots are well priced ... outdoor plants are expensive. The cafe has a yummy mummy & gregarious granny following ... not quite my thing - but perfect for a coffee on a rainy day. Love the green vibes here - cheers me up & inspired me ... even on a rainy day ...

'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow' I have been visiting this garden centre for 4 years and it was Wendy and the rest of the Clifton team that inspired me to plant some roses. I am now an avid gardener and always look forward to seeing what they put together at The Chelsea Flower Show. Also the diva Mrs Miggins is always around to point out their new finds. This place truly is a hidden gem in the heart of W9. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!
