Used these guys for years until I had a couple of bad deliveries so stopped using them for a long time.
But had a delivery tonight and it was very tasty partner also enjoyed his.
Kharai had a lovely flavour best flavour for a kharai I've had in a long time, meat was well cooked good size portion and a lovely touch of a free side dish.
Delivery slow but will definitely be going back to these guys now

After reading a number of reviews the finished product was a bit disappointing. The delivery for one was much later than it said it was and the food was a bit meh. We ordered a number of different curries and they each didn't taste that different. One of the curries even stained our kitchen surfaces. The nan was soggy and the rice was dry. Overall won't be ordering food again from Kamal.

Hands down the best Indian takeaway in Brighton. Consistently delivering amazing dishes at such a decent price. The menu is vast and I’ve only made a small dent so far. Muttar Paneer is absolutely dreamy, Keema Murgh pictured here also fantastic

I'm not one to write reviews, but I wanted to warn anyone: I ordered food from here yesterday evening through deliveroo. Waited 2 hours and wasn't even delivered and no refund provided. No food, just money stolen.

Great takeaway. Went on a Saturday night and it was fairly busy with collections. Great sized portions, good quality ingredients, not oily at all like some can be and perfectly spiced according to the menu. One dish with chillis was lovely and spicy! ???????? Loads of popodoms and the rice was perfectly cooked. Will definitely use again.

In an effort to try more local business during Covid we decided to try Kamal for a little pick me up!
Easily one of the best curry takeaways in Brighton. Authentic Indian food and such an affordable price and they also have an app that allows for a slight discount and simple ordering (...and repeat ordering)
Considering we live very close by we were able to arrange a pickup for just under an hour after we ordered, very simple process.
Also I don't know who needs to hear this but they also offer onion bhajis as a MAIN.

I was very impressed with the quality, also very reasonably priced. Very quick, went there on thursday night and next to a nice looking pub. Nice big chunky pieces of chicken, (not the factory cut frozen smooth chicken chunks that have little taste and horrible texture). Good madras sauce with lovely nan bread and nice yogurt sauce.

Just dropped in for a quick takeaway Samosa snack and sorely disappointed when £2.80's worth of Samosa turned out to be 2 tiny overcooked, clearly shop bought nuggets of sadness. Never going there again.

It is really delicious food .and the price is amazing. I came in brighton and was staying in Travelodge. Before I ordered I checked all near by indian restaurants.I found their price is actually double than kamal Tandoori So I ordered food here and me and my wife actually shocked .we couldn't believe that in £14 we would get this much plenty of food and big chunky lamb tikka pices (not like other restaurents small pieces of meat and full of sauce )and top of that it was very very delicious .so in the middle of my dinner I straight called in restaurent and shared my opinion with them .I really appreciate their quick delivery service and their delicious food .if you want to eat indian food in brighton then definitely try this guys .I am sure you will never regret this .only have the option to give 5 star I wish I could give them more than 10 star .

We made an order yesterday and was notified it would be delivered in 1 hour. 2 hours past and the our food hadn't arrived. We called to enquire and was told the food was packed and they were waiting for a driver and it would be delivered within 15 mins. No apology. A further half an hour passed and still no food. I called and made a complaint. The food finally arrived over 2 hours late, was tepid and no flavour. DO NOT order from this terrible outfit.

In all the years of having indian take away in Brighton, more than 13, I have never had such an appalling experience...the food never arrived, 45 minutes later, I called the restaurant more than 3 times, got a continuous response that the food was on its way, but the reality was that it never came....they told me the driver did not have my number, not true, then they said it was going to take an extra 30 minutes, by this time the food would have taken 1hour and 15 minutes , and it would obviously be cold...they never apologised, were rude and I am in a extremely bad mood, after wanting a treat for me and family ...my advice is don't bother with this place ...not even one star...AWFUL
