A bit of a long wait but excellent staff. A&E. Had a lumbar procedure by someone who was not very well trained but then a Doctor called Christopher Baldwin did it again after gaining my trust. He did a Wonderful job. So I want to thank him. Had a consultant who had a terrible bedside manner, cold like an ice queen no empathy. The nurses on Guthrie ward were Wonderful. Another person who was soo lovely and caring was Candle. A lovely name for a lovely person, in A&E.

Great elevated helipad to land on, and great ground crew. The place to go after you've been airlifted.

My experience of kings college hospital was a positive one. Never been to this hospital before. I had to go to the endoscopy unit and was very nervous about it. All the nurses were brilliant. Everything was explained to me and any worries I had were quickly dispelled. I have nothing but praise for them. I have another appointment next week at the golden jubilee unit and hopefully that will be a good experience too.

This is Ismail. I am 45 years old. I had mitral valve surgery in Kings College Hospital on October 2021. The surgery was made by Mr Dr Max Bagdai and his team. The surgery was very risky during the Corona Pandemic days. I was knowing my problem for a long time but I could not have surgery because I scared of the surgery. But they were unbelievable. They repaired my mitral valve with the endoscopic method called key surgery. I left the hospital 4 days after surgery. The effects of the surgery substantially passed after 2 months from the surgery date. Just very small scar on my body but they are not noticed. I would like to say thank you to Mr Dr Max Bagdai and his team. I would like to thank all staff in the Cardiothoracic surgery service in the hospital. They are very polite and helpful.

Lovely hospital and staff. Prayer area also available. Located in the main hospital section. Which is the old building. Basement. Walk straight down the hallway and down the stairs. Follow the MUUSLIM PRAYER ROOM signage. Alhamdulillah

Amazing Staff. I (29 weeks pregnant!) had a fall just up the road on Monday and the wonderful Debbie from the fracture clinic as well as 2 lovely guys from Maudsley (and many kind members of the public!) assisted me to the A&E Department. In A&E Jordan was absolutely fantastic and very quick service. Nurse Anna helped me up to maternity to check on baby and helped me when some other issues came up. Back to A&E and Sam helped me get back to normal and discharged, making sure I could get he OK! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff!

I gave birth in this hospital. It was induced for labor. Despite the problems during it, I was refused a Caesarean section 4 times. The child was almost dead and wasn't breathing.. traumatic experience. I want to thank only some of the midwives who supported me during this difficult time.I would like to say" thank you" for saving my daughter but I will not. This situation was to be avoided..

I went to the dental department of this hospital for an emergency, staffs were really polite and very professional. My tooth extraction including the surgery was all done within two hours. probably one on the best and cleanest hospitals I have visited in London.

The worse telephone experience of my life. Round in circles, quickly spoken muffled instructions constantly passed on. Useless

Worst place for dealing with children. Lost reports. Patients are being told to chase their own reports, Consultants being told by bloods to collect report. They do not even know they provide a service and keeping patients ( child) suffering as they do not provide immunology service for children, and patient kept waiting for 2 weeks to find this out. Appauling service. Ended up to go private which we cannot afford and pay taxes towards NHS services too.

Thank you Kings College Hospital,I really can’t express my gratitude to the staff for saving my sisters life after she suffered a brain aneurysm. The care she received was remarkable.Four months after her ordeal, with a subsequent operation she can now see again. You have not only changed her life you have given her family and friends something that we never imagined would happen just a short time ago.I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I will forever be grateful.

This is a great hospital, there has been times in A&E where I have been waiting for what seems days, it has never been under 5 hours, but nonetheless this is a very good hospital and probably one of the best in London.

This left end colonnade, Tuscan columns and horizontal entablature, was craned off in large intact Portland stone drums & blocks 1999 -2000 along with the an entire pavilion alongside, and further within an arched over gym & clutter of temporary buildings. This site was cleared to allow the construction of Golden Jubilee Wing. The stone removal had to be carefully 'unbuilt' by stonemasons, strapped and lifted away to storage, safety paramount because alongside hospital patient/visitor/staff pedestrian traffic carried on. The twin colonnade is sited at the right hand end of the Hambledon Wing. A number of the stone gate posts were also shuffled about and rebuilt.

I have been under the care of the Urogynaecology team at King's for many years. Headed up by the most fabulous Professor Cardozo and Mr Robinson- I really couldn't be in safer hands. I have so much trust and faith in both of them and of course the junior doctors under their mentorship. From the reception staff in suite 8 to the girls in the gyane admissions team..you are team Kings and you rock. Thank you

Spent two days in the Stroke Unit at King's and couldn't fault the care and understanding at a very distressing time. Nursing staff and Doctors alike were all marvellous. Found the ward, toilet and showers all kept clean and in line with Covid rules. Food was acceptable but wouldn't have wanted to be in too long!!

I was always treated with respect. Nurses and Doctors are really great professionals, kind , friendly and very helpful . I go there regularly for more than 3 years and I never saw any incident with patients regarding the way they have been treated. They make you feel comfortable which helps a lot when u feel anxious or worried about your treatments.

I don't think I have ever met someone as beautiful, kind, pure and loving as Patience Omokaro. She has worked beyond a nurses role for my sick brother and seeing how she looked after him and treated him made us feel safe and assured that he is in good hands. My brother cannot communicate like other sick patients and is practically incapable of voluntary movement but Patience speaks and converses with him as if he is responding. She sings to him and even tells him jokes.

I forgot to say thank you to the receptionists yesterday and I feel so bad because they really provided great communication. Procedure meant I couldn’t see a family member, but still I’m appreciative nevertheless. Thank you NHS!

Had life saving surgery. Basically lived in this hospital for 2 years and felt very welcome of course there were some arguments but we resolved them and moved on. Now 5 years late am much much better I go for follow up and visit all the staff who are still on the wards , it's so nice to see some of them and they are so happy to see how I'm getting on. I went into this hospital at the age of 13 didn't leave till I was16 so i spent 3 or 4 years in hospital and celebrated my birthdays there too I met some lovely people . Strangely I kind of enjoyed my time there just cause I met some nice people and made friends practically made as new family but now I'm out of hospital still doing physio and on a lot of med but staying strong that's all I can say STAY STRONG!!!!????????????????????

My dad has had liver cancer for a long time. They have done scans revealing it was abnormal in the past, yet they never said it was emergency. He had all the side effects for 2 years, yet they ignored it. Only now they found out about it. Now they say it's too strong for surgery or any treatment, they say he does not have much time to live. Seems like they did this in purpose. They can't even do their research properly considering he had all the side effects before.

A big thank you to all staff and nurses at A & E on daytime duty on 3/8/19. Very professional and dedicated even though it was very busy. ???? Special thank you to DR CLARA for her thoroughness, patience and perseverance. She did her job expertly and with kindness. She ensured that she resolved the problem before discharging me.

Had my first child here, I had a c section which went well! This was at the nightingale birth centre 4th floor.. Felt like everyone there was so lovely and attentive! Until I got moved to the William Gilliatt ward (3rd floor) there I felt like that was where they just drop you off and you’re forced to do everything yourself, due to COVID I understand my partner couldn’t be there but regardless, no one ever checks up on you except for when they have to do your blood pressure and what not, I have never felt so alone, I struggled because I didn’t know why my baby wouldn’t stop crying and felt like I had tried everything and they were no help. (Some of the nurses were nice) But even going up to the reception desk, everyone would walk past and not one person acknowledged me, this really ruined my experience. So disappointed!!!!!

Today I went to Dermatology in the Normandy building. I had to wait maybe 20 minutes, which is fine considering how much stress the NHS is under. The receptionist, dermatologist, and the medical photographer were all incredibly lovely, friendly and helpful. Thank you!
