We visited Cotswold in Covent Garden this morning looking for summer walking shoes. We were served by Dominick, a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man who gave me excellent advice on the type of shoes to buy. He understood about all the different brands of shoe, their pros and cons for my feet and no pushy salesmanship. He is a credit to the company....and he made a sale. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic customer service and friendly staff! They took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and then explained to me what the differences were between the choices we had picked out. James was incredibly knowledgable about the coats we were looking at and was able to help me understand the different technologies each coat had and help me pick a coat that had the right technology and material for my specific needs. Egor was also very friendly and helpful at helping us find suitable choices of coats.
Overall, impressed with the level of knowledge from the staff on the products and their assistance!

I was pleasantly surprised for the genuine help from a member of staff in the upstairs clothing department. I wasn't really sure exactly what I needed as I wanted to be covered in many ways.
The lady was very patient in helping and gave advice on different clothing , makes and layers for winter. After some time I left with everything that I required and I also went downstairs and had similar experience.
If asked staff do have time and experience for you.
After 4 months of wearing clothing I'm still very pleased.

The amazing gentleman Dominick Francis served us and I have to say that he is the best! Never has anyone given in so much effort and time to explain what the correct shoe should be like. He made me try dozens of trainers , run on the treadmill and listen to what my thoughts and concerns were. A true salesman and a very polite person. He went an extra mile for me and i have never been served by anyone like this before. Dominick is the person you should be looking for in this store!!! Thank you so much for your time Dominick. You are a star , we are all coming back for our next pair to this one place only!

Salesman was rude and unhelpful immediately. Was patronising to me about what I wanted when I am an experienced hiker, rude and then was rude to my partner who cant wear a mask due to a condition he has. So i left and bought the shoes in Black's where the salesman was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and nice!

Lady member of staff jumped down my throat when I walked in and had completely and honestly forgotten to put mask on. I apologised and immediately rectified this. Thus followed condescending looks and probably a comment or two but wasnt listening. A bit of kindness and grace wouldnt go amiss, let's face it ,I didn't set out to be a rebel!! Not In any rush to return. Maybe when I go back ,friendlier staff??

I visited the store in hope to find pair of shoes for a last minute scheduled field trip. They have a few walking shoes, not a large selection but enough varieties. Although there were less than 5 customers downstairs trying shoes, all sales assistants were engaged with someone else. I spent a while looking at each one displayed and decided to get a sporty look instead of leather ones because I had something similar. Finally an assistant helped me. He measured my feet and told me that he would fetch a pair for me without telling me which model he set eyes on. I thought that it was strange and asked him to point out which one. He did not tell me but just saying he wanted to find me something suited me well. I told him I don't want leather ones and wished to know more about the difference before I tried on. Then he looked a little disappointed and told me that some of the lighter models may not support my weight and height and I could look around in other nearby shops...Thus I walked out the shop. I have to say that they are quite patient helping the others. But I feel that it may be not the best place for someone who with little knowledge of outdoor wears like me.

At the time I was in the store, someone was caught shoplifting and the employees handled it really well. The only bad thing I have to say about it was that they didn’t have all the products I was looking for, but that is just a matter of personal taste...

I cannot remember the gentlemans name who served me but I could easily describe his customer service as the best I have ever received in my life.
He took the time to thoroughly understand what I needed and why as well as explain the solutions he recommended. He was incredibly patient and even taught me the best way to tie my new hiking boots (all with a great and friendly attitude)

I like this shop because it has a compact but good selection. Especially for random bits and pieces you may need for camping or hiking. Most of the clothes are a tad expensive unless you can order them online with a voucher and pick up in the shop.

Very good customer service from Bruce today when I was really struggling on which sandal to buy. He measured my foot and explained clearly the best brand and size for my foot. I really wanted to buy from Cotswold, but unfortunately the shoe wasn't in stock or at any of the local stores and I travel tomorrow.
I will be back for my next item of hiking gear.

Large shop with 2 floors and plenty of good options for a lot of different clothing requirements. They also stock ice climping gear which is pretty great.
