Expert & friendly advice and service from Will, Hugh & Tristan and one of the UK's best on-site instrument repairer specialists, Dave Woodhead. Highly recommended!

Being a nervous woodwind player, walking into Phil Parker Ltd was a bit daunting, but was greeted with such a friendly face. My questions were dealt with enthusiastically and I made a very successful purchase.
Will definitely visit again.
p.s The staff member on the desk to the left of the main doors has a debatable sense of humor, but overall, very nice.

I paid two visits to Phil Parker several months apart this year and both times were unpleasant, due to being treated with cynicism and condescension.
The first visit was to look for a new trumpet and I was treated as if I was an inconvenience for being there.
The staff member on the desk to the left of the main doors made me feel uncomfortable and was not helpful.
It became very clear that he was not comfortable with, nor used to having to deal with people entering a shop.
Simple questions were dismissed and he constantly tried to correct me when I made basic and universal observations or statements.
When I returned at the end of August for another reason, it was even worse.
I was made to feel like I had no experience or value and I was consistently talked down to, even though I was being polite.
I’ve been to many different music shops across the world and never have I had a more negative experience than that of Phil Parker Brass.
I would like to mention however, that when buying clarinet reeds for a friend at the woodwind shop in the same building, I was greeted and assisted by a lovely staff member, who was extremely helpful and friendly.
