i felt that the post office was really bad with covid safety, i was waiting in the queue and one of the staff came over to the front and said that a lady had been coughing all over her desk and asked another member of staff it they had any thing to clean the desk! non of the staff are wearing masks and you should be cleaning all work desks and areas where customer go! the member of staff just looked at her and said maybe look in the back! i wont be going back there again its really bad. Then the lady behind the counter took about 5 mins to serve with a massive queue behind me not socially distancing!!!

The post office is located at a convenient place for the local people to go there and post their package or letters. Apart from the function of a post office, it also offers cards selling and all the accessories for posting. If you are living in this area, you can go there and have a visit.

I posted a small parcel Ist class recorded delivery from here on Friday 26th February which still hasn't arrived today 9th March. Apparently you can't track where this kind of parcel is until it's delivered or they've run out of time. It's probably not this post office's fault, just a generally hopeless but expensive system. Royal Mail needs to get its act together and track recorded delivery parcels properly.

Don't recognise the adverse comments here. Use this post office regularly for parcel dispatch and always a polite and efficient service. Handy for birthday cards and young children's books too while you're postng your parcels. Most of the usual posting / stationery supplies but other gifts, etc. limited due to its small size.

Used to be a great service here, but ever since latest owners took over always rude, dismissive, speak to each other gossiping when serving you. Untidy, messy shop. Went to post a covid test for friend today, on Gov website lists where to post and the lady in PO shooed me out SHOUTING I can’t post there and have to go find a postbox, absolutely disgusted. Would not use their services.

Very helpful team, especially the lady in charge is always happy to help customers. I wasn't sure which service and the staff was very knowledgeable and helped me decide the best option. Definitely recommend for quick and professional post office services!

AVOID THIS POST OFFICE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
I would give 0 stars if I could, having being treated so poorly by the man behind the counter. From the start I could feel I counted less than nothing to him from the body language and attitude I was getting from him. I just had to leave!

This Post office never opens on time. I went at 08:25 this morning, waited till 08:40 still no-one arrived which means I now have to spend my lunch break standing in WHSmith Postoffice queue. Not great but when they are open (on time) the staff are nice they just need to be more punctual.

Only giving one star because you have to put a star. I wouldn't recommend this post office, staff are miserable and rude, queue takes forever.
I regularly post items that I sell online and I've never had an issue with the post, but for a week while I was in Brighton I used this post office everyday and multiple items had been taken out of packages so the customer received an empty Envolope/package. This has cost me money to sort out with customers. I've never had this happen before, but yet I use this post office and not just 1, multiple items go missing.

They don't open at 8:30 as advertised. I waited until 8:55 when someone turned up to open the shop. No realistic explanation or apology from the person opening up. I heard from someone else waiting that they 'never open on time'. It is a shame as otherwise I haven't got a complaint with the service.

The most dismal customer service I've ever faced in all my life. Lady refused to help me seal my envelope entirely when I had a SIM card inside I had to send overseas which could easily fall out. Also chased a man out for no reason while he was writing a card to his dying wife. The man working on the other hand threw my letter back at me while telling me that they're not responsible for anything when all I requested was some tape or glue, and they could've at least declined politely but instead raised their voices at me. They never smile at any of the customers either, even though I've seen them all to be very friendly. Completely disgusting. Never returning.

I went to this branch to buy currency. I asked at the desk whether they had the currency I needed and I was met with a muttered response. The man calls the back room and then mumbles for me to go over. I thanked him politely and headed round. Once more, I politely asked the woman about the currency. Dhe didn't seem to realise that was what I was there for, even though I was the only customer there and she just answered a call about it.
I reiterate that I'm looking for some Croatian Kuna and we had a bizarre exchange from there.
She proceeds to shout every response at me if I didn't respond to her within a nano second of asking a question. I changed my mind about how much I'd like to take out and she frowns and shouts, 'What?' at me. I was quite shocked by how rude she was considering that I was leaning into the microphone, smiling and being friendly throughout.
I've worked in retail for six years and I know good customer service. That was not!! I was tempted to confront her rude tone but didn't want to stay there any longer, so took my money and left. She'd buggered off from the till before I could even thank her anyway.

Went to this post office ESPECIALLY to guarantee last post for my grandma's 75th birthday as I had to get the card in before last post. Terrible lay out to the shop. Don't have just a post box outside, so had to queue for 20 minutes, then making me late to my hair appointment. I thought well at least now my grandma got her card, but no, even with a first class stamp, it didn't arrive until 8 oct even though it was posted before last post on the 5th! I rang her up and she thought she'd been forgotten about.
The only reason I spent nearly half an hour QUEUING just to post one letter was because I thought it would reach her in time. Gutted.
