Brilliant staff, very quick, competent, knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. It's always a pleasure shopping at Halfords. Big choice of products and whatever I bought there last long. In fact everything I bought there within the last 10 years I still use and never had any complaints.

My old bike pedal came off on my way home on Saturday evening so I had to take it in for repair.I was speaking to Gavin and told him that I supposed to be getting new replacement bike which I was waiting for while because of out of stocks due to covid.Gavin asked me to come in on following day along with my bike receipt and he will see what he can do for me. On following day I came back with receipt and Gavin gave me few options for better bike especially after I told him how many mile I cycle a week.With his recommendations I decided to go for Carrera especially he used to ride same one also. He sorted everything out for me in spite of he was the only one on the floor and technician Stuart did superb job building bike for me straight away as well as making sure I was comfortable riding inside the store also.He made extra adjustment for the seat as it was little high for me and it was great customer service from these guys. Lastly,I would like to thank both Gavin and Stuart for great service and recommendation????????????????????????????????

I had a great time collecting my electric bike on Thursday. There was a little mishap with me receiving a text to come in earlier when the bike wasn’t fixed but they sorted it right away. The staff member that served me was really polite, funny and informative. He taught me a lot about my bike and set me up for maintenance and insurance. It was a great experience and the shop smelt delightful.

Following a purchase a couple of days, I needed help and advice. Stuart (shop floor) and John (workshop) were brilliant. They could not have been more helpful and their input and advice was thoroughly appreciated. Hugely impressed with Halfords and their staff. Outstanding service during these crazy times. I will do my best to use Halfords in the future given the amazing help. Decent store - incredible staff. Thank you Stuart and John.

Just had a Dash Cam fitted to my car at Halfords Twickenham, Ivy Bridge. Very professional job. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Glad I had them do it instead of trying myself, plus it only cost an extra £10 so why bother contorting your self in the passenger foot well?

went into get my electric scooters tier replaced. I had done this previously and it had costed me £20 to get one of my tiers replaced. Today when I went in the staff was different and so was the manager. I asked for a tier replacement (same as before), the staff said £20 at first, then said the waiting time is 7-10 days, which I was fine with. Afterwards, when I said that is fine, the staff increased the price immediately to £40, and the manager standing next to the staff did not say otherwise. The manager was a tall fat white dude. I had a bad customer experience, and would recommend replacing the mangers. Ravi the previous manger was much better.

I took my bike there for an assessment and to book a service. Sadly the earliest appointment they could offer was 3rd June so I've had to go elsewhere. Nice staff, but there are not enough of them and you always have to queue. ????

Truly shocked at the service from Halfords and not only the inconvenience it has caused but also its impact to the safety of a rider. As a cycling professional I am compelled to highlight the details as soon as time allows and will be writing in an official capacity. In the meantime, I urge anyone collecting a new bike or having maintenance carried-out to ask that all critical bolts/nuts are re-checked that they are a) present and b) correctly torqued, including mudguard stays (which in my daughter's case, two days after collecting her new bike, found their way into the spokes of her front wheel - luckily it did not result in her being flung into the path of another vehicle). I have heard, anecdotally, that, due to increased demand, insufficiently trained staff are unfairly being asked to work in the workshop. If true, this is not only dangerous, it is grossly unreasonable to the staff to demand this if them.

The check was very thorough and he took the time to talk me through how to get the best out of my gears and all the recommendations from the assessment. I found it incredibly helpful. Thank you!! Walked 2 miles to Halfords with a punctured bike tyre. Was expecting I may have to leave the bike with them for repair and then walk 3 miles home or they wouldn’t have the correct inner tube etc etc (probably had a negative mind set as was annoyed with the puncture). One of the staff (Show) took complete charge and sorted the bike out there and then. Very professional and conscientious. Great lad

Took a chance and dropped in to see if my bike gears could be checked and Shaun very kindly adjusted them for me & advised my chain would need replacing in a few weeks. Asked if I needed to book it in and he said it was a quick job so I could just bring it in and he would do it. He even went so far as to check his work schedule and suggested a date and time when it would be quiet. I duly returned and Shaun replaced it and gave me some very helpful advice which I was really grateful for. Very friendly and helpful, will definitely return.

I went to have a bulb fitted on Tuesday night at Halfords Ivy Bridge / Twickenham and between the fitter, the person and the till and the bicycle technician who provide advise about buying a bicycle, I was wowed by the customer service. I had not expected the staff to work so well together and to be so helpful while not seeming to be forcing it, just really helpful, really good and I will be going back to buy a bicycle from Halfords. Thank you - made me smile as my wife an did not feel like just another action to be performed before the end of the shift...

I purchased a bike online for home delivery with assembly. It was delivered without assembly. I called Halford and was told to go to the branch for assembly. So at my own expense and time I visited the store only to be told that it would be assembled in a week time due to increased demand. Just before my pick up day, I got a text message saying to pick up my bike from a different store. When I went to that store the bike was not to be found there. Went back to Twickenham store, they could not find it on their system. After some discussion with his colleague he eventually find my bike only to be told that it was not ready. When I picked up the bike it was not assembled properly (I did not check it myself in the store unfortunately). The front tyre was barely moving, the stand was not adjusted, the bill was not adjusted, the small reflective lights were not adjusted amongst other smaller issues. The service at the Twickenham branch was basically appalling.

This is Robert Irvine here (not my daughter, Amy). The system seemed to put me automatically onto Amy's name? Anyway : Our visit to Halfords was an exceptionally good shopping experience. In spacious surroundings we found a very wide range of goods displayed in such a way that we could easily decide which purchases to make. There was a definite feel of being somewhere very special and one might even say luxurious!!!

Other than parking on weekends here being a nightmare it's your usual Halfords, including cycling, outdoor vehicles and accessories on the upper floor. Looks to be well stocked with friendly and helpful staff.

I seem to be living in Halfords these days but this comes as a result of the exemplary service I receive. I have recently purchased a Carrera Cosmos for my 4yrs young son, a Carrera Crossfuse e-bike for myself, accessories and repairs to a Trek cycle. My experience each visit has been welcoming, knowledgeable and most of all fulfilling. Must thank in no specific order Adam, Gavin, Sean and of course Halfords for employing people who lift your company above and beyond all expectations.

Staff helpful and welcoming. Manager knows his products (and their uses) and seems to have the respect of his staff. They're always helping with both chat and knowledge and occasional lifts out to car for heavier items I use and order as Trade Customer. This is my preferred store as it's generally more organised than other stores I've tried over the years. Stock is available when I need it and I'm in there most days, even if just for a chat.....

He not only fixed the issues that I took my bikes in for, he also noticed a couple of other things and made some tweaks in advance. Excellent service in the bike dept on 3 occasions after luckily managing to get one of the Gov £50 repair vouchers. Bike was assessed by Sean, who did a quick adjustment of brakes there and then to make it safer to ride home, as well as recommending what it needed to be booked in for. Went back for the service and there was a slight misunderstanding on my behalf as thought they’d do it straight away, rather than have to come back next day. I’d cycled there, so tricky to get home without bike. Baly who served me was great - understanding the situation he was flexible and arranged to get it sorted in under a couple of hours. John who serviced the bike recommended to buy a part (not stocked by Halfords) from internet. So popped back a few days later and fitting was included in voucher price along with bronze service. Gears now work properly as well and bike feels much safer. Thanks to the whole team, really happy. Will be recommending this friendly department who get things fixed to others. ????
