Staff (Mo was his name) was so rude, at one point he said (“Go on complaint me, my name is Mo and I don’t care”) I asked for the manager and bald guy in orange jacket claimed to be one, was even worse, he didn’t even want to know what’s happened and started ganging up on me. I guess that’s why his staff can be so rude to customers after all. Avoid this store!

I reserved a bike online for in store pick up. Halfords phoned me the next morning to confirm what time I would stop by to pick the bike up. We agreed that 3pm would be a suitable time for both of us. When I arrived at 3.30pm the bike had not been assembled yet, so they asked me to hang around for 40 minutes or to come back another day. When I went back to the shop 40 minutes later, the bike still wasn't ready... The manager offered me £20 off my purchase, without me having to ask for a discount, which was nice but I'm not very impressed about having to waste an hour on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

AVOID! I went to Halfords in Chiswick to get a puncture repair. I paid £14 pounds and fixed it straight away. However, a month after (my tyre was flat again. Went to my local repair center to find that the screw that caused the puncture has not been removed by Halfords and that caused the inner tube a damage. Avoid the bike repair centre

Truly awful service. Arrived on a Saturday, having called in advance and being told, one does not need to get an appointment for bike repair, that of course one needs an appointment. Took ages that morning to get going and I could go on forever, worst thing is that 11 days later, I have not received a call re the whereabouts of my bike and costs. Calling the store is impossible, plus there voice messaging system seems to be broken. One cannot understand the options. But hey, no-one seems to be picking up the phone in the first place....

Took my bike in for a long overdue service, mechanics worked with me to get the most value for money with all the needed parts and service. All done well and when shortly afterwards my shifters failed (stretched the mechanism over a year of bent derailleur) the manager helped me get them replaced without paying more than the cost of parts - very happy. Like all halfords there are bike mechanics who can do anything, bike mechanics who can install new parts (most effective method of repair), and general staff who can do the bike repair stuff you could really learn to do yourself. I personally think everyone with a bike should be able to replace a flat tyre and patch an inner tube... Though I can see why if you have enough money you might just spend 14 quid to avoid getting your hands dirty.

Hopeless. Went in to enquire about buying a bike, was ignored for 10 minutes so asked one of the staff if there was someone I could talk to and received a grunted reply along the lines of 'yeah, in a few minutes' after which he went back to doing what he was doing. Won't be getting my business.

Ridiculous service or should I say lack of. Was told to bring my bike in for 9am on Thursday and that I could have a same day basic Bronze service. Arrived at 9am and was told it could not be ready now until Monday. Bye bye Halfords. I shall be using your competitors 3 doors down!

About 8 staff in the building. All of them seemed too busy to speak to us or the 3 other customers in. Then rude, standoffish and unhelpful when we got to speak to them. Don’t bother.

The worst customer experience I've ever had. The staff here will do anything they can to ignore you. I finally asked someone for help at the till because there was only one person in the bike area. I got a shrug and told 'and he'll still be there so go and wait'. I decided to just buy what I had and was served by another member of staff who was equally rude and didn't say anything to me or even look at me. I ended up feeling really depressed about the whole experience. Left knowing I would avoid all Halfords at any cost. Went up the road to Evans where they were very helpful.

This place is a total rip off I cannot believe that I was charged for four light bulbs and for fitting Price £45 Two head light bulbs twenty pounds plus fitting £36 Bulb X 2 £4 fitting £5 Total price £45 This was for a Citroen C3 Not even sure the bulbs had gone Just was advised to change Please please use somewhere else as the bill comes when work has been completed

The problem was I had a problem with my inner tube so I decided to get it replaced. I brought my bike in and requested their help, with out a fuss your employee told me the price of the job to which I agreed for the work to go ahead and told me it would be completed within an hour. I left knowing my bike was in good hands and even though the job took longer than I was told which meant I could not get to the store in time before it closed I was satisfied that the worked had been completed "TODAY". I collected my bike the following morning and was displeased by the tube valve which was long as I have had problems with this type of valve when I have had to inflate my tires in the past however I was pleased with getting back to ride my bike and took it without a moments notice. However the main problem a day after , on returning from a casual bike ride, I felt discomfort when riding I could feel every pavement slab which caused me to pull over. by my surprise and anger My tire was flat but the problems only got worse when examining the flat back tire I also noticed it was not properly secure and tightened correctly which lead it to wobble form side to side. as I was walking home I called the Chiswick store and there was no remorse on their part it felt like I was talking to a machine by saying just bring it in tomorrow maybe they may be able to repair it again for free. but all together I was disappointed in the job as a whole and so has friends of mine as the company has let me down too many times now
