This place and the staff, worst. After servicing, the bike was returned with parts removed, screws missing. Dont fall for the bike service deal package. We paid and had awful experience. Imagine the loose screws and major parts not in a working condition of a kid's bike. We were returned the parts asking to fix ourselves because they(the staff)were busy. Other store we originally bought the bike from immediately denied the servicing. Quite opppsite to the experience we had at Halfords, Staines, the staff fixed all that was wrong with this Chiswick. The broken bike was mended after one year.

Repair team on Halfords are well talented as they managed to fix my Bickerton folding bicycle, that was broken on the hinge that connects the front and the back.

The staff (black young man) sits inside the child scooter section is super nice and helpful and very kind. Wish I remember his name. He also let my daughter borrow the toilet and has been providing services with a smile and he was very patient at explaining the scooter types to me, I have purchase my daughter's bike from halfords because I do value good services. My review could be biased as I did notice the staffs at the main entrance are less enthusiasm and said I need to purchase certain amount of product if I wish to park at their parking space.

Recently bought a bike from Halfords in Uxbridge. Took it home and went to ride it the next day to find out that the back wheel was misaligned and the bike in general wasn't built very well (I think it had been sitting in the back for a while). Took the bike straight to Halfords in Chiswick and they immediately took it behind the desk and began working on it. They didn't ask any questions and gave the bike a huge overall check and fixed a couple of other things that they'd notice. Super friendly staff who are extremely helpful. I'll be bringing my bike to this store from now on, the best service I've received!

Went to buy a bicycle for my daughter and walked out after 1 minute. Only 1 Grumpy ???? guy fixing bikes. No one half interested in helping out. Manager apologetic but again not interested. Going to a local independent bike shop to get a bike. Worst Halfords shop I’ve been to recently. Avoid

I had visited this place three times in a row. The first was to repair a puncture on my rear wheel of my road bike. Shanon tended to my every need and offered quick and valuable service; needless to say I wasn't in the store for long. I had returned a day later as I had noticed that my front wheel had a slow puncture, likely obtained around the same time as my rear wheel puncture. Shanon, once again, had delivered quick and excellent service in getting my issue sorted efficiently. A day later, the same day as writing this review, I had to return as the wheel that Shanon had repaired had gone down completely flat overnight, without the use of the bike at all. This was due to the rim needing rim tape as the spoke punctured the inner tube itself. This time I had been served by a very honest and energetic chap called Mo, who not only went and exceeded his service, but offered up great and engaging conversation while doing so. Could not fault the man one bit - I appreciate the help he had given me in great amounts. Would recommend seeing both Mo and Shanon shod you need your bikes seeing to!

Fabulous service today. Headlight went on my motorcycle. Being Good Friday BMW are closed and the manual says replacing a bulb requires removal of fairings and 2 hours labour! Not at Halfords. Click and collect then fitting for £8. The technician took about 2 minutes and I was safely again on my way with a smile. Great stuff Halfords Chiswick.

Imagine selling stock worth hundreds of pounds in profit for the company (i.e. dash cams with installation) and you walk in on a Saturday afternoon and it takes you 20 minutes just to be able to speak to a staff member- because the store's manager doesn't think they should have extra staff on a weekend - only to be told that they only have 1 employee who knows about dash cam installation and she only works 3 days during the week. To describe this place as "useless" doesn't even cut it. This inconvenience seems to come from the top of the management structure down to their employees.

It's a nice airy relaxed branch where you can take your time to browse, try out some of the bikes or just come in to buy an accessory. I remember buying my daughters mountain bike from here. We actually wheeled it back ( as well as riding discreetly where appropriate )all the way to White City. If you purchased at a weekend you'd probably be able to bring it back on one of the overhead rail services. Please check first though. Of course fold ups are permissible on most public transport. Staff in Halfords usually very knowledgeable and most of them ride themselves as well as drive.

Went as I had a bicycle tyre puncture. It was only 20 minutes before they were due to close but they couldn't have been more helpful unlike the nearby Evans store who couldn't be bothered. £8 for labour and new inner tube.

I needed an in-car hands-free kit - and I had managed to completely tie myself in knots researching on the web. Julie filled me with confidence and made sure I bought the right one - beating shopping online hands down. Highly recommended.

I cannot thank enough the bald guy (no offence mate, didn't catch your name, I'm bald too btw! ????) ,he did everything in his powers to replace my rear wiper blade without breaking the whole arm, as the whole thing was jammed and wasn't extending properly. Saved me a trip to Vauxhall shop and probably a hefty bill...Man of the day, amazing experience!!

I bought my first bike at Halfords. Half way home I noticed the front wheel wasn't aligned. I'm a new cyclist so I didn't think of checking this. I'm really disappointed this wasn't spotted on the quality check after the assembly. Also, the staff didn't seem too interested in being helpful. Looked like they wanted to complete a sale and move on.

Really not sufficient customer service. Brought my bike to fix breaks, tube and tire. Was suggested to repair the whole rear wheal because it was not going straight. As I requested this repair I have been told that it will not work and I need to buy a new wheel. Before I was told - repairing the wheel would take 10 Pounds. All in all I had to take my bike where the rear breaks has been removed already. No repair, time loss and an not usable bicycle. This is what I got back. Really bad. Never again. Sorry.

A decent experience. I was greeted by various employees who were keen to help me find what I needed, however selection was very limited as it's a small shop. Prices are pretty good -- when they mark things down you can find some great deals! Ask about their online options: you can order anything you need to the store and test it out before you buy. I'd definitely pick this shop over its neighbour, Evans for its customer service alone.

Been coming to this store for the last 10 years, bought all my kids bikes here (6 bikes so far), can’t understand the comments about rude staff, never experienced, I guess it’s the way how you approach them. Service at the bike workshop used to take ages but nowadays I always see at least 3 staff members at the workshop, so that’s a thing of the past.

Staff came across a bit rude and not what I expected from a Halfords store. I recently bought a new bike and since I live and work locally, felt it would be beneficial and handy to shop for some accessories and tools in person but one person kept trying to offer me other pieces I didn't need and when I asked if they offer check ups for the rates being advertised, didn't seem too enthusiastic and again tried to offer me services I weren't after.

Just went to get a new battery for our car and were served by the two most helpful people imaginable. Turns out our car has a battery that isn't available through Halfords, but the people who served us did all they could to try to find a solution and did a test to check that it really was the battery that was the problem. Thanks

Helpful and friendly. Didn't do that twitchy, trying-to-get-you-out-because-it's-near closing-time thing. Let me try the parts I needed with no obligation to buy. Meant I got home in my van rather than needing to call breakdown service.

This is my local store. There seems to be a lack of consistency with the level of customer service given by staff here. My most recent experience prompts me to reduce this store to one star. I have a Halfords voucher from Confused.com. I wanted to buy two items with it. The first assistant I spoke to ignored me, then when I persisted said they were busy with another customer. I found the two items I wanted, but when I went to pay the next assistant, he told me he didn't know how to do the voucher payment and said I had to wait for the manager. The manager was outside working on a car with another member of staff. He looked my way and carried on with what he was doing. After waiting 10 minutes I gave up and left. No-one apologised, no explanation, no customer service. The staff at this store do not know how to speak to customers. They generally do their utmost to avoid engaging with customers and seem afraid to actually have to do anything more than process a sale. It might be my local store, but I certainly won't be using it any more. Twickenham store isn't perfect, but I'd rather travel there instead. Chiswick store is a waste of time and space.

Really bad customer service, went in looking for a specific engine oil thinking it shouldn't be a problem at a shop specialising in automotive parts and accessories, could not find it amongst the shelves of oil, so tried to get help from a member of staff, nobody was around and when I found somebody they ignored me and walked off, after 10 mins waiting for help, the assistant simply told that they didn't do it and walked off again. Managed to find someone at the till this time, just as unhelpful and acting as if I was bothering him, after describing what I needed, I asked him if I could use an alternative and he told me to use something completely different that was wrong for my needs. It would seem he just guessed and said the first thing that came into his head to get rid of me. This is not the first example of terrible service I have received from Halfords and it seems there are fundamental problems with the whole chain, if you do have to shop with them; do not expect any kind of customer service or knowledgeable staff.

Anything that could went wrong, it went wrong. They are not be able to fix electric bikes. They sent my electric Carrera Crossfire to an external company to fix it in within 2 weeks. They forgot to send the bike and they only noticed that haven't sent the bike because I gave them a call to ask if it was ready. After all the company which fix the electric bikes returned the bike to a different halfords shop. Two weeks later I call them to find out what happened with the bike and the answer was: bike is ready to collect. I went to the shop next day and the bike have some parts broken and it wasn't really. After 3 mounts the bike wasn't even ready and with some damage and peaces missing. I decided to take the bike with me and bringing to another shop. On my way home the back weal came off the bike in the middle of the road which means that they haven't even tight the nuts. That was my experience with them. June 2018

Terrible customer service. Staff ignores the customer, and it takes a lot of effort to be served. When we finally managed to get someone's attention, the advice was very poor, and we had to do the research ourselves. Ended up choosing a bike and it was meant to be ready on a specific date and time, we went a day later and it still was not ready. All in all, very poor service.

I was served by TK who went the extra mile when identifying the issue with my bike and then getting me back on the road in record time. I really enjoyed the whole interaction as it was friendly and personal. I'll be going back to the Chiswick store for my next bike.

I ordered a bike last week by click/collect for 24th Dec. They phoned me confirming it was ready to collect, so I went. It was a Christmas wish gift for my son, so the plan was to have it left next to his bed on Christmas Eve. However, after I went instore and made the payment, they told me that it can't be assembled today on 24th so I had no choice but to agree to go back on 27th. I was given an appointment for Thursday 27th (can you imagine a child waits patiently for his Christmas gift days after Christmas?) Not only this, today as 27th I went there and took my son with me while he was so excited (after days of disappointment) only to find another guy (Noel) telling us that they are busy and can't build it now, it takes an hour. We said we don't mind waiting. He then said that they can do it today either, so it has to be booked again which most likely would be next week (which means the year 2019), as the last time was not a real booking. So now whether he was lying to us or the guy who sold it to us was lying. I wasn't up to this game, I lost the faith in all of the staff in this store, and decided to get a refund and leave straight to Argos.

I interacted with Sarika - who was behind the till at the point. By far - she was rudest customer service representative i have ever dealt with. Had no knowledge of the item, shrugged off questions. Told her that it's disappointing - the staff should at least have some knowledge of their products. She immediately got rude, agressive and even raised her voice. The says "why don't you check the website - it has all the details" - while i asked her a question standing right there in a store!. It almost felt like harassment I don't know how Halfords train staff - but this is a new low in not only customer service but decent human interaction.
